I just recently started reading blogs and I must say everyone has something good to write or say.Now when I turn on my computer,I go straight to the blogs,forms.

I still consider myself new here. I'm starting to meet some quality people and suspect some may turn into good friends. And I'm enjoying the forums too. Their great!

I posted this because, in light of the difficulty associated with LDR's, I'm curious to hear about people who have really close friends online whom they've not met. I ask this because, as much as we all want someone to hold close at night, a lot of what we want is another person to share with. It seems those needs can be met with online friends and would like to hear of some of your experiences..

How to keep Long Distance Relationships Alive? Part One....



1.) Even though the most you can do in a long distance relationship is talk, try to find ways to do things together. If both of you have a show you like, put your beau on speakerphone and watch it together. Interaction on the phone can become dull, but if you mix it up by doing things together on the phone, it’ll keep things interesting. Don’t feel pressured to keep a conversation rolling. Long moments of silence are okay! If your beau was there with you watching the show, you wouldn’t be jabbering the whole time, would you? Exactly.


2.) Avoid jealousy. The key to any relationship, especially long distance relationships, is to avoid becoming jealous. Sure, some amount of jealousy is normal, but don’t let it get out of hand. You need to trust your partner and go into the relationship with the idea that your beau is worthy of trust, until proven otherwise. Don’t question your partner every time he/she goes out with people you don’t know, or if he/she doesn’t answer your text or phone call right away.

Do people know what is important in life?

Is the answer that what is important is subjective i.e: what is important to one person will always vary to the next person and this is ok.

Or are there things in life that everyone should hold dear? Should everyone value family, kindness and love above everything else or are these things just important to me and should I respect the fact that perhaps career, freedom and independence for example are more important to others and their choice is equally valid.

Is any way of life Ok as long as your happy and not harming anyone? or are some ways of living wrong or immoral?

These are the questions that keep coming back to me. I guess it is harder to be a good person than a happy person.

Also does selfishness= hapiness on one level. Should you put others first or yourself?

As long as you don't harm anyone are you a good person or should you do more than that and go out of your way to help people?

Is this God putting these questions in my mind? and why do people not seem to care about morality?

I think about these things every day. I am a deep thinker and I have been glad to see that there are other people on the site who's hearts look like mine.

What a wonderful day it is turning out to be, and I think I have made a great friend too.

The pain absorbs into my pours of hope/ it flows heavily through my veins straight to the core as I desperately attempt to cope/ there was no note, no discussion, no man to man, no warning on was what to come/ run! my broken heart pleas yet still I stand here as I bleed/ fears of never being free haunt my distorted dreams/ an oppressed being, a begotten son, forgotten, only thoughts of being loved are real/ thats why these drugs are the only thing I feel/ heal me/ give me your love, let me embrace it and in doing so, we will live in our own paradise/ a life of beauty/ no more pain, no more agony, just me and you living life happily/ these are the thoughts that flash past me, but its blasphemy/ my heart is thrashed, beaten down and thrown to the trash like the pure love beating through it wasn't worth the hurt you put into it/ my soul is a cold dark wasteland, a ruin, im loosing it/ imprisoned by my own thoughts caught in this wicked spiders web, my sight is red, its like I took rage and laced it with pure hatred, I can taste it, please take it before I make a mistake and cant replace it, im pacing, brains racing, im constantly wasted plus....I cant stop shaking/ take me away from this place I cant take it and neither can this world from this beast that they created.
