I didn't mean to disrespect or offend in anyway. I hope you don't take it that way.

Faithfulness - thanks for your contribution. I thought giving away Gaza was a definite no-no and I and others who thought like me have been proved right.
Israel has to keep the West Bank which the Palestinians have only wanted since 1967 when the area came under Israeli rule rather than when it was under Jordanian rule. It is also needed for defensive purposes. Without the West Bank under Israeli control they cannot defend the rest of the land.
I say Israel should build, build, build, and to hell with those who dispute it. Israel has given away too much. The Land is Israel's and the Palestinians will not be happy even if they got ninety nine per cent of the land as they want Israel and the Jews destroyed.
I don't know about Bible Prophesies, having not studied them, but I know what I know, and I know Israel will live and survive.
The going is going to get tough. Wars are of course nasty, but of course Israel will triumph in the end and all will be well.
Boban1: the " I think" as you stated is another attempt to show everyone who`s pointing out that zionisam is just simply a evil creation .
Again "Zionism is not equal as Judaism.
I'm not sure what's really behind the anti-zionist sentiment, but proof of "wrong-doing" certainly doesn't seem to be the basis for it. Allegations based on other allegations based on insinuations and links to misanthropic opinions don't make a very good case for anything.

If they took a little time, they'd find out there isn't one Zionism, but many different forms of it! But that would be asking too much!

That´s why I was asking earlier, if the definition of zionism determines how someone defines anti-zionism...
In other words, it seems to me that both terms are used by everyone on this thread equally, but that there might be some major differences in how people actually define those concepts for themselves.
And that´s why it seems to me that a lot of unnecessary arguments take place and unjustified accusations are being made - when in fact people simply use the same words, but actually mean different things!

Let me try to explain my point of view
Zionists claim that Jews have the right to possess all land between the Nile and the Euphrates because (they say) this land was given to them by God .
Zionists also claim to Palestine because this was territory controlled by two Jewish mini-states, Judah and Samaria, until their destruction by the Romans in the 1st C. CE. To which may be replied: If Zionist claims to a Jewish "homeland" in Palestine, based on Jewish occupation of that area 2000 years ago, are accepted as valid then the claims of North American Indians to their former homeland (all of the United States) and the claims of Australian Aborigines to their former homeland (all of Australia) should also be accepted as valid.

Just an Oversight!
Idea goes back a long way, actually further than the 19th Century!

My point of view is that whatever the reason people think Jews cite as their right to have a homeland in Israel, the REAL reason they have that right is because it was afforded to them after World War II by the United Nations. Now if you want to argue that the UN shouldn't have the authority to do such things, I might lean your direction on that. But there's a lot of water under the bridge on this decision, don't you think?
