If women do it for themselves, why do they dress differently and wear makeup, style there hair, etc etc, for a simple shopping trip, or a school pick up and wear comfies & dress down when they are at home with more mirrors to look at themselves?

A woman never wants to be judged on her looks. When a woman gets ready to go out she looks in the mirror and if she then goes out she is good for anyone, should she ask her partner If she looks good it is just a common courtesy.

I know I'm good looking for most men, but looks doesn't matter to me.
It's the inside that counts millions more.

I like to present well when out and about, but wear minimal cosmetics.
I exercise regularly, eat healthy and look after myself.
Round home, it's hair down, ol jeans, no make-up, T-shirt....sometimes nip down to the supermarket in that garb.
Of course, we like to feel good and we do what we have to do to impress.
...but....bottom line....he must like ME(inner me).

LeeCharming: I wouldn't say (yes) definitively because it is the world we live in. Women seem to care (1st) about the looks of their potential man...which is utterly misguided. (that is definitive)
On the other hand, they put on disgusting mask of make-up because they obviously feel it enhances their looks (Which I don't agree, it only covers the natural beauty)...It mostly entails being fake, which I despise. Again, it's part of life and of course some argue it's because of man's expectation that (forces) women to paint themselves.

I hate to point out the obvious, but in your photo you are wearing lipstick, your face is covered by foundation and face cream, your cheeks are covered by blusher and your eyebrows have been pencilled on, so what part of your face is uncovered? If this is making minimum effort, then I can’t imagine how much effort you make, when you leave your house.
I think women have got into such a habit of wearing makeup, they don’t even know they are applying it and deny it, but they do it every single day and I think it has something to do with low self-esteem and fear of people seeing how they really look under the mask of the clown
Makeup is promoted to girls at a young age and becoming a princess has been the dream of many, because of Disney movies brainwashing and claiming the prince will save them.
Stop talking about the inner you, if you are too afraid to reveal the outer you and abandon makeup completely, because from the start you are deceiving men with your fake faces and why should men take you seriously?

Can you imagine how many great personalities one misses because of that...if we don't like what we see it's very unlikely to try and find out what's within...
