Theres many reason why some do not reply one is you are a long way over the sea to start with and i dont live any where near you age is another one different country .i,m a Kiwi, .
I do look at other posts or letter,s and i know i am not suitable age and distance and i wont do a long distance just wont work too much trust involved,
so thats it.

It seems that some members don’t really use this feature much. I have several friends I talk with this way, but not many. I “ ignore” quite a few from those I don’t know...what’s the point in replying if there’s no interest? Right? I do get the frustration of wondering why someone is on here if they don’t seem to want to talk...it’s a little perplexing, but remember, ( and learning this did not come naturally for me..) what may seem correct and practicable for US, may not be true for someone ELSE..I have sent emails to some females and they never look or reply to them.

I admit I'm very picky in regard to replying: I don't want to lose my time or give some wrong impression of being interested when I get a message:
- that is not interesting (such as "Hi, how are you?"),
- from someone who is much older, much younger, too far,
- from someone who obviously hasn't read my profile and whose profile is not really revealing and/or not interesting to me.
