Kiwi Loss

Written in sympathy for the 50 who were mercilessly gunned down and for their friends, families and fellow New Zealanders who suffer these overwhelming losses. Such terrorist acts are an attack against all who hold peace and each other within loving hearts. May our communities find or construct avenues to reclaim civility and health.

i hear of this type of thing happening shortly after a person passes that they visit or make a sign before moving on.

this poem is based on the incidents where people who are in danger of there lifes of the hazard of fire the halls of flame which i wrote i try to capture what it could feel like to be stuck within your own home,the walls you feel safe between can be your undoing i also try the capture the bravery in which the young mans life was safed and those who battle the flames are heros to be looked up to i hope my poem is a thought processing one and hope to make people aware of the dangers of fire the mental effects i tried to protray can be read in the poem try to vision yourself in danger of a situation like this and how you could cope i hope you at least enjoy the poem... regards shane aka scarwolf

My Mother in law went to the Church of Adam & Eve in Dublin to pray and was struck by a vehicle on her exit. Sadly she passed away a short time later. I wrote this for the family. The arms in the air are her children desperately trying to pull her back.
