The ball of lightning passed next to me. Luckily, I was not hurt, just shaken enough to write a poem.

LIFE IS SHORT SMILE WHILE YOU STILL HAVE TEETH
A Haiku poem: A Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons. In nature there is no good or evil. It's non dualistic. Inspired by Joseph Campbell.
Feeling I might have found my soul mate
Can you still add images? I forgot how :(
Inspired by one of those misty, humid, summer nights.
Love to look at these trees when I walk in the park each day. The winter picture reminded me of silent sentries standing guard.
blades of green rise from the brown spreading all around soon to be sprinkled with yellow all aglow in the sunshine wings of gossamer flit as they hover in the air before landing amid the splendour of the brightly hued décor painted
Lying down in a patch of vernal ground.
in this world i have noticed divisions in human race which is causing us to hate each other for no apparent reason. This is my call to every race that let us accept each other the way God sees us
Focus on nature
The sky is so very blue Leaves on the trees are so very green Then the sun comes shinning through And a day in May unfolds this scene I like to watch the movie of May It wasn't made in Hollywood But still amazes me For it's so good so very g
Mikä on mäen ja dale maan? Se on niin kaunis, Maa lakkaa kesäpäivinä, Maa, jossa pohjoiset valot häipyvät, Joka kauneus kaikkina vuodenaikoina, Mikä maa on niin reilu? Siellä on paljon tuhansia järviä Hämmästyttäviä tähtiä yöllä Siellä on pal

a poem I wrote years ago
Early morning surf check ............
This is about the moment, 20+ years after last being in the sea, when I followed the sudden urge, in spite of wearing a long floaty skirt, to run into the waves up to my waist. What I thought was a bobbing log, about 20 ft away, turned out to be a seal, silently watching me. We just gazed at each other for what seemed like an age, but was really only seconds. I love these creatures, and the legends surrounding them. Perhaps the "I" of the poem is a seal woman who came ashore to shed her skin and dance, as in the folk tales, but for whom it is not yet time to return to her watery home. Or perhaps she is a mermaid who earned her legs (the sequins on the skirt recalling her scales). Or perhaps there simply Are moments when humans and animals connect deeply. I don't have a title yet, but I dedicate it to my wonderful friend, who was like a father to me, and who was with me that day, about eight years ago, on Tentsmuir beach. He died two years ago, and I think he knew better than I that it was not my time to follow.
Three absolutely magic days ....... We usually need a heap of wind to whip up the ocean but a passing cyclone far out to sea and a long way from us sends through the remainder of it's swell at the same time copious amounts of rain with out any wind creates the perfect conditions......
most night I watch the creeping shades of twilight, as a day dies.....
as we in NZ should be heading to winter, the other side of the world still in snow, dreams of sunshine....
this is about the works of the minor arcana, and the adept of the Magus further committed unto the great work of alchemy.
Coming tropical storm
That unrelenting urge to acquire a goal, like the sea crashing again and again.
There are a lot of busy bodies out there who think they are making the world a better place and are instead just being jerks. I can't stand to see parrots in cages. I went to this zoo where they had so many parrots crammed into a caged area that they had pulled most of the feathers off of each other. You can find this zoo in WI Dells, Wisconsin.
this is the only poem I ever wrote
