I wrote this for my mother because she is in wheelchair and loves the garden, so every year I go out and plant her a small garden in the patio outside our front door, so she can sit in her chair and enjoy the perfume from the flowers.

I wanted to try haiku and am unsure of the correct way to do it. So would some of you kind poets please help me. This poem is about the day of a poor little sunflower being woken by the sun. If this is not haiku would someone or all please change wording to make it one and tell me what I have done wrong. Thank you so much for your time. I switched it out and retitled it.
