Mimosa Pudica (Yankee's Challenge)
I know I'm a few days late, but here's my go at Yankee's challenge. The mimosa pudica or touch-me-not is a very interesting plant which as a precaution rapidly closes up its leaves when touched only to re-open them a few minutes later. It's rather unique and has given rise to a long list of common names including 'sensitive plant', 'shameful plant' and 'humble plant'.
