This is my signature piece of writing, as conveyed in the last three paragraphs: "At such moments alone with nature one can feel a strange unity .with everything around. Unity that is so strong and overpowering that one loses consciousness of one's individual self; one has no consciousness of time and space but only of that moment - the infinite eternal NOW. One's consciousness seems to merge with a deeper consciousness of the unity of all things in nature and the cosmos. One experiences an awareness of a deeper reality that is impossible to describe in words. One makes contact with one's cosmic roots in a dimension where time and space are irrelevant. It is the synchronisation of one's consciousness with the absolute and ultimate reality of the cosmos." As a young boy, around nine or ten, I used to love to be in the sugar-cane fields in my native tropical island, Trinidad. I got a natural high, being dazzled by the brilliant sunshine and listening to the sighing of the sugar cane leaves as they swayed in the breeze like the waves of the ocean. I felt that Nature was speaking to me, transporting me to another world where I connected with my cosmic roots, becoming part of the unity of all things.
So we live our lives in a linear way, we are born, we live, we die, nothing more to say? First Spring, wonderful and new, then Summer appears, brings happiness and fears, seems to last so long, but then its gone, and Autumn takes its rightful place
I am simple yet complicated with an intellectual soul yearning to be understood and not easily forgotten. I am a person who appreciates different perspectives even if they do not fit into my idealistic reality. I can mutually share with you the
The famous Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, about 60 km west of Sydney. The "Blue" colour is caused by the refraction of sunlight through a very fine vapour of eucalyptus oil given off by thousands of trees in the heat of the day.

when I awakened at daybreak, I first went outside all about on the ground there was fresh fallen snow I quickly gathered a new stack of wood for the fire then headed back in the house and over to the stove my body was still stiff from the day’s w
This one I wrote was 12-10-1993. This is the idea of pre-history, history, future tense post-history and then a time when there will be no history at all. With Thanksgiving drawing near, you may want to be sated with what you have now. It's better than being solo. Like Earth.

The song pertains to a little bit in everyone. The past, present, and future tense of what we had, what we lost, and regaining the strength to live on; but, also, to remind ourselves to never give up the thought of possibilities. I wrote this one 8-26-2021
