"The Quotes Garden"
[ XXIV ]
Silence“Silence.
Frozen drops
In a sleep,
Pearly chain, - relief,
From a snuggle;
So soothing, to me…
Silence.
I may flee
Wherever it
Takes me –
Eager to see
There, over the shore,
Nearby,
A grain of sand, –
To just lay my head
Into this cradle;
Yet, there is no sound;
No rhythm.
Just a white, deep
Reap
Of these crops –
Silence.
O, set me free
Wherever it
Pleases Thee,
Sinking deeper
Into the sea –
For that is the core
Where there is more!
Nearby,
A grain of sand; –
Under this beam,
How did I land?!
Silence.
It cures me.
There is no grief.
No pain. No struggle.
But only a deep,
Never ending dream
In which all stops.”

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXVII ]
*** Truce ***
“Snails come
To feast –
Right here,
In the green,
Deep world
Of the grass;
- Have some
Dew juice,
At least!.. –
*** Root ***
From the east,
So keen,
Comes near –
This shy,
Sweet lass;
- Tell me
A story,
I have
No worry; -
*** Root ***
This rock
- Ticks fast,
While in
The new heart
A spree
Pour out
- In sluice
Of thoughts,
A truce – ”

[ XXVIII ]
*** The crows ***
“Right here,
- In these
Cold lands
Of snow,
Dull steps
Led me
To watch
Old trees
I miss –
*** Root ***
Here, the crows
Catch dreams
Out of
Each noise:
Gray, brown
- Torn branch,
In a
Slant fall
Of nuts; -
*** Root ***
But they, –
- These dark,
Drab ghouls
Which seems
To grab
In their
Harsh claws
My thoughts,
Were gone – ”

*** The lair ***
“In the lair
Of the mole,
Few crumbs
Left from
Last feast; –
No one
To dare
Walk in
This maze; –
*** Root ***
All the worms
Of the earth,
Must have
Known of
Such beast,
- For in
Their scare,
Sink deep,
To the east; -
*** Root ***
But the mice
- Lead the way
Out of
These caves,
Just as
If each,
Though dead,
To the light
Still craves – ”

*** Sap milk ***
“Strong wind
Whisk off
Thy nest
From this
Old branch,
In a
Mourn song, -
Wings float
In the air; –
*** Root ***
Through the cracks,
Small springs
Keep buds
In foil –
While keen,
Red ants
Move up
And down
Sap milk; -
*** Root ***
In these
Moon-like
Shapes of
Pale curls
And leaves
In furls,
Nurse maids
Wear gold
Ray skirts – ”

*** The song of the birch tree leaf ***
“This leaf
Knows what
Is love –
Shares the bliss
When buds
Like twins
Cheer the spring
With chirps
And odes; –
*** Root ***
Here comes
The shy mare
To stir
In waves
The smell of
Meek grass,
While bright
Birch trees
Play knights; -
*** Root ***
I know
Not less,
Nor more –
But all
It takes
To write
Each song
For one
To miss – ”

*** Each new born ***
“Each
New born
Comes to life
In a cry,
- What is
To learn,
- What is
To teach?
Live or die; –
*** Root ***
Each
New born
Ask to know
What Love is; –
- One say
It’s war,
- One say
It’s peace,
- Hers or his; –
*** Root ***
Each
New born
Then must reach
- To a grave:
Where was
One’s joy,
- Where was
One’s grief?
Here is the speech – ”

*** Shush!.. ***
“But Truth
Can not
Be told, -
Thou one
Must live
To know
Its Lore, -
Right core
To give;
*** Root ***
A word
Thy lips
Will bend
Or twist, -
Like sword
To mend
Each pulse
In wrist, -
Thin chord; -
*** Root ***
Must not
Be said
What can’t
Be heard, -
For paths
Are strayed,
While sights
Reach swayed,
Tongues slurred; -
*** Root ***
Thou warp
A note
To pierce
Blind hearts,
Eyes blurred,
For lies
Have spurred,
While dark
Has thrived!..”

*** Glimpse ***
“Each strain
Of thought
Thou rise
In heart, -
For those
Who fought
In wars
Of mind,
They train -
*** Root ***
As when
One feels
How world
Is blind,
Each spark
Of light
Shows dark
To find
Its wheels, -
*** Root ***
What heals
Best wounds,
When crowds
Seek death? -
Who steals
Their joy,
Those dreams?
In cries,
Dim sounds…
*** Root ***
It seems
In change
Time, speaks, -
Thou world
Get strange,
With tides
In peaks; -
- Light - takes
No sides…”

*** Shades ***
“In blades
Of grass,
Sun fades, -
With ticks,
A heart,
Now waits
Thin leaves
To fall
And part…
*** Root ***
Those eyes
Have seen
New paths
To walk,
With ways
To talk,
Like one
Who lives,
Then, dies… -
*** Root ***
For now,
Just dust…
It tells
How trees
Have learnt
In wind,
To bow,
Once birds
Have swarmed; -
*** Root ***
Deep roots
Seek lore, -
Cold springs
Then bless
This earth, -
Not more
Than less,
- Like strings
Weave core…”
