Don't you Remember?

Eyes to earth/
Breath to mind/

The breathing assumes such
exquisite sighs.
What then?

What of the masks & facades
from which we donned
& masqueraded in manners
most conventional & comical.
What now?
What of the love
that mocked these
post modern hypocrisies
yet in itself became a
prophetic lie.

Slanders hurled at
the poetic soul.
love was never
cupid’s toy from hell,
but it wings its way
with devilish intent.

Spiraling.
Piercing.

My mind’s eye
weeps. Caught in
contemplation
of subtle betrayal.

Love unrequited rends..
lacerates with flame.
Infidelity never
the issue as my love
never shackled nor
sought to tame.

It is through the
deceitful drama,
hollow skits, & the script of
easy wit & underlying
satire which allows
me to be a fool.

Remember that my love,
my pain, my knave;

Remember how our bodies
fit like a hand in glove.
Remember our first kiss.
Remember our first hello.

a soul flies

dearest friends
i am crying
as i am writing this
truly thinking
this is something
really very beautiful
still do beyond
all words
oh i cannot
forget about love

my quest for you
sweetest honey
truly an
amazing experience
moved this world
forever happy
having found

never giving up
on such a
very beautiful feeling
i will never give up
on you honey
i know deep down
you love me

as i do you sweetheart
without even a question
emotions inside speak
i will wait for you
missing you
like crazy
the sound
of your voice
i am so in love
with you

wish i was there
with you baby
would love to see
beautiful angel smile
i had such great plans
for you and i honey

baby dearest love
i will never stop loving
as you have
taken this soul away
into your space

EMPTY EYES

As you look into my eyes
You're no longer gonna
See the sunrise
My eyes are annoyed
And now void
I'm no longer your toy
You're just a boy
No longer Bring joy
To these empty eyes
When living in a house of lies
Time seems to fly
While eyes die
It's no surprise
Your never gonna see these eyes cry
For now all I have are empty eyes
I wanna fly high into the sky
Where only the eagles fly
I'm gonna look you
Straight in the eye
Wave
Bye- Bye

This is Love

Because my father
pulled love out of his gut
like taffy,
mixed it with bile
and covered canvasses with it,
I write to you now:
a woman in the middle of her life,
with one foot in the past
and one foot in the future
and a lover I dug for
all the way to China.

I write to you
out of a roiling gut,
chronic insomnia
and bad dreams.
Once, I prayed to be a poet-
before I knew the price.

Fear is the main means of transportation.
Fear propels the pen across the page.
Fear pulls me out of bed at night to write.
Fear drags me screaming into your arms.

I finally catch love like a disease:
it hits me broadside in the gut-
The first sign of love
is heartache
and you, my friend,
an unpeeled fruit.

Or else a worm
hooking into my heart,
a fungus living in the Eden of my skin,
a boil on the bone of my forehead
thinking of you,
a stubborn, unscratchable itch,
inside my veins.

Oh that unscratchability lament!
Oh those bothersome hookworm blues!
Oh that itch, that howling dog in heat!

The worm has turned,
my heart is no longer for hire.

I suppose I'll have to love you
at this rate.

In the middle of my life:

too soon.
too late.

Make a wish

Make a wish when you see a star twinkle, your wish will come true.
Dreams are made of happiness, I grant you your wish.
Feel your body gently float in the sky.
The moon and the stars collide at your passage.
The sky is full of wonders for you to learn how to see.
Dreams never fade they are eternal.
The heart is filled with beauty
The soul is filled with love.
Look at your star shine
Feel the warmth interfere in you
Feel this breeze cascading and follow your movements
Your dreams are tomorrow's reality today
Rest before all this beauty
And when you get out of your sleep
The sun will shine such that your eyes will be filled with stars

Bleeding Hearts

In having,
we sleep...

In losing,
we wake...

To the realization
of our costly
mistakes.

The grim understanding
that rashness
of deed...

Tore a hole in your heart
causing it to bleed.

And after a while,
you're starting to heal
enough...
enough...
to try climbing onto life's wheel.

The pain will subside & lose it's hold,
you peer out from over that hole...

Stepping through time now &
gliding through space..
I see you've already been to
this place.

Leaving only a poem
saying you've passed by.

Poet To Poet 7/29/14

Dear Poet,

There is a man under my bed has been there for years.
There is a man who waits for my floating bare feet.
There is a man who is silent as dust balls riding the darkness.
There is a man whose breath is the breathing
of small white butterflies.

There is a man whose breath I hear when I pickup the phone.
There is a man in the mirror whose breath blackens silver.
There is a boneman in closets who rattles the mothballs.
There is a man at the end of the line.
I met him tonight, I always meet him.
He stands in the amber air of a bar.

When the shrimp curl like beckoning fingers,
And ride through the air on their toothpick skewers.
When the ice cracks and I am about to fall through
He arranges his face around its hollows.
For years he has waited to drag me down
And now he tells me

He has only wanted to take me home.
We waltz through the street like death and the maiden
We float through the wall of the wall of my room.
If he's my dream he will fold back into my body.
His breath writes letters of mist on
The glass of my cheeks.

I wrap myself around him like the darkness.
I breathe into his mouth
And make him real.

I must close,
write soon

~A Tree~

Sometimes I think that I
would like
to perhaps be a tree..
A weeping willow,
when I succumb
to bouts of melancholy,

And just hang my lifeless branhes,
barren,
for all the world to see..
So sanctified in my loneliness,
The weeping willow,
Woe is me.

Good Times And Bad Times

The good timez they come and go like a rundown motel and a drug addicted hoe. You won't understand unless you go through it you can't have the good shit without a bunch of bull shit. That's just a part of f*cking life you can get hurt worse than when playing with a sharp knife. I wish that I could get you out of my f*cking mind your love was like a diamond but harder to find. Someday i'll be able to find sweet true love but till that day comes my life will be more sour than unripened plums.

I miss you

I miss you so..,
I miss telling you things,
You know things noone else knows,
I miss going places we're not supposed to go,
So we could be alone,
I miss your smile,
Your funny laugh,
Its like I lost my other half,
And I just want it back,
I'll say it again from deep within,
I miss my best friend,
I miss your face,
I miss your kisses,
I miss the taste of you on my lips,
I miss your eyes,
The blues and greens,
I miss the way you used to look at me,
And I...I miss you..,
Yeah I miss you so,
I wish you'd know,
Every day I miss you more...
