Last night I dreamt of you
I woke up feeling blue
I ask myself is it really you
Could this be true
I beg you to stay
You always turn and walk away
Leaving me sad and blue
My mind plays tricks
Too late to fix
I have to let you go
Before I grow to old
Truth be told
I fear being alone

We were young and free spirited right from the start,
We looked into each others eyes and entered each others hearts
But her parents didn’t want it and made her pull away
She didn’t say that it was over but called me names to feel okay
So we went off dating others although I tried to reach out to her
And last year our hearts were broken which I didn’t want to occur
But now she is in love again and happy and she’s free
Her happiness is my happiness and that is the best present for me

Bell in hand
She whispered
Careful out there
A patented hug
A soft gentle kiss
Twas his night and be sure
He'd made plenty a rounds
Tellin the folk of that
Cobbeled street town.
He'd fallen for her
The first time he saw
The bucket she drew
From the towns covered well.
Now, those two had been loving, for many a year
He stayed on the path, never to veer
She did in the house, what had to be done
While he was away, working his time.
He worked all the docks
Unloadin the boats
That's what he did
During the day.
That dinner bell rang at six fourty five sharp
Never was late as his love kept him timed.
Together them two kept to their word
Their night times euphoric
Mornings
Never extrude.
In the streets with his bell
As it rang in his hand
Tellin the folk
Cry'in the land.
It's been said
That his cry'ins
Bout
The love of his life.
That maybe true
She believe's that it is.

My thoughts drift like a whisper through time,
I hunger and thirst for love so blind,
As cracks open up in this heart of mine,
I'm broken, deep inside.
No man should feel this pain,
Where hearts are shattered, and can't be repaired again,
In the midst of all darkness, I will never be the same,
I walked this battlefield, with nothing to gain.
An Icy castle built upon my heart,
Walls enforced, with steel and brass,
To shield me from my checkered past,
As I fight to live, while it lasts.
I close my eyes, as anger burns,
Regrets and lies, as I tossed and turned,
Love so deep I no longer yearn,
For fear of being broken.

What beating
Solace
To care for grasping souls
Watching Sunsets
moving through the universe
Tipping a moment
To cry
Screaming among-st the soul
Battered sad forgiveness
Leaving a wilted scene
Yet
rest and rise the flowers
of sudden season
to remember
The smell of nighttime gifts
the sound of daytime riffs
Cryptic words
No longer swell
A life of one
creates
The toast spread in the morning
Tea for Two?
Honey gates open
Pass the teapot
please

She saw the beauty in his soul
felt compassion in his touch
She heard fullfillment in his voice
And longed for him so much
When he confessed he could not love her
For of his broken heart
She took the bowie in her hands
Then cut her own in half

I know that you love me
And I know that I love you
But we are going nowhere
So this is what I must do
I have to love you big enough
To finally let you go
And one day you will realise
That it was not what I wanted to show
My heart has been broken way to many times
To keep trying to make this work
And you may look at me
Like I am some kind of jerk
I do want you to know that I did want you with me
But you wanted my love
And you wanted to be free
I can only give you this because you have made your choice
So I am letting you go
Because I too have a voice
And my heart has taken on such a heavy toll
That is why now baby
That I have to roll
I will always love you and I will always care
But it is time for me to realise
That is that you don’t really need me there

I know that so much time has passed
And I’m not sure what to do
When I think of true love
It seems to bring me back to you
Remember the time we found together
Four leaf clovers when we were young
I have never seen one since
Which makes me feel you were the one
I’m not looking anymore
For the one who fits my heart
Because I found it’s a useless game
After what we had, fell apart
I’m not the type to force you
Into something you don’t need
I am willing to take it slowly
Even let you take the lead
Even if it’s just good friendship
I’m not a player or into games
I ended it with my lady friend
For what we had wasn’t the same
We came to that agreement
And yes I found her lovely
But it wasn’t the same you know
You may not feel the way I do
And that is fine with me
But I know that I’d feel stupid
If I didn’t try to see

When I was young and I heart to my mother I would go to,to wipe my eyes that cry.
As I moved forward with my life I found that things didn't make me so sad when things went bad, only to steel my resolve to be stronger or mad.
Then one day I discover love, how strange, how odd,I felt like on a cloud above.
Walking on air knowing I had someone ther to love me only no more to be lonely when she told me she cares.
What a fool I became she was always on my brine filling me with pssaon
driving me insane.
Time went by till the day she sad goodbye, then I understood why had eyes that cry.
Don't be afrade to let your feeling go,let me show.David
