Because I think about you all the time,
And I make believe your still here with me,
But while I deny reality,
I've been driven to insanity,

It's like I don't know what's real anymore,

It's like you and me were two of a kind,
And now there's not much left of me,
Like we were never meant to be,
I get lost in the insanity,

It pains me to know our hands are now only a memory for my soul

I wanted to write a poem of love, but I had no inspiration,
I wanted to write a poem of beauty, but you evaded me,
I wanted to write about my life, but it was not to be,
So I decided to write only words, about my dreams.

Words don’t come easy to me, as I fumble to express,
Words don’t always say, what I really mean to say,
Words don’t portray my feelings, as they are meant,
So I decided to think of words, that were in my heart.

My heart is always full of love, which is only for you,
My dreams are of you , only within my vacant mind,
My words are meaningless, without you at my side,
So I spend yet another endless lonely loveless night.

..................where I dwell...

Like a grumpy fish
Fanning my fins slowly
Going nowhere in my tank
Nose pressed against glass
In water that never swirls
Except to stir the gravel
Suck out my wasted life
Are you happy now?
My watery cage is clean
Why don’t you set me free?
You with your disgusting
Bulging blue eyes and shiny teeth
Stop looking at me
Annoying taps on my wall
Of my artificial world
Is it night now?
Watched under a neon light
While you rest and smile
I want to bite you

Your lyin eyes
such a unique
disguise

You tell me of
hopes and promises
and dreams
you wish to come true

Yet, let's look at reality
from a realistic point of view

How we all would like to wave
a magic wand
and make the evil
go away
and to dream of a better day

You tell me you love me
you tell me there is nobody else
while you are laying in the bed
of your secret lover
as he is caressing
your breasts under the covers

You tell me if I love you
then prove it
and come to your
rescue

Yet, we know the truth
behind those lyin eyes
the fool outside looking in
will never win
You will never
compromise

How nice it would be
to trade one set of problems
for another
just to say we are now
finally together

To the fool who chases after
his dream
Be mindful of what you are chasing
not everything we see
is good for us
to be embracing

Lyin eyes seemingly cute
and wise
if only we knew the truth
behind the
disguise

Ah but one day your
lyin eyes
will catch up
to you
then they will be
crying eyes

She whispers sweet
nothings in our
ear..
and we cannot
hear it..
In her eyes are
the whisper of
true love..
Yet.. we do not
see it..
With her tamberine
she dances
for us..
but we do not
rejoice..
And with her heart
does come the
whisper of a
thousand passions..
But, Behold! we will
not receive it..
And in so doing
we break the heart
of a velvet night
whose stars fall
at the feet of
she who whispers..
and they weep..
For their joy
is no more..

The whole city is wet
From the rain.
All the night and a cold day
We are not together ...
It's a pity.....

Wet umbrellas
Over the wet bridges,
The light trembles
From the darkness
Taxi....

And it does not matter
Whose fault is it.
I walk longs the street
Alone,
The unspeakable wall
Of our words ..
Sadness...

There is nothing left,
The whole world
Has become like black
And white movie,
I know that you
Are still waiting for me,
But the love goes away
It will not return,
There are no tears
In my eyes.
it's just rain,
Goodbye

I don't think I can fall in love again
It hurts too much - and I don't understand
Women all they want - my physicality
They want me - yet they don't - my animality.

Across the net, I offer up my love -
Or pain's miss understanding (now it seems)
Who wants this man who's haunted? (an old cove)
Who seeks affection - but a painful dream.

I cannot risk my love (as if a bet)
If only money - who cares if it's lost?
I cannot risk my heart upon the net
I have the price but cannot pay the cost.

So I'm alone and lonely - no more tears
After drinking feelings are but numbed
Washed away too many nights - no piety
I'm faithless even in my new sobriety.
