Wings

I want to taken away from this world on the same wings
The same wings that gracefully carried you away
As I stand on this my judgment day
I want the same wings to carry me high into the sky
I am ready and I have said my goodbye’s

I want to be carried away
On the same wings that swooped down and caught you that day
I want them to carry me so high and place me be beside you

So we can smile, laugh, cry and sing
The way we used to when we were kids
Do you remember the swing

I want to sit beside you and show you my life
Full of memories I had as I wished you were by my side
I hope you watched me as I laughed, I loved I lived my life
Sometimes my sadness could not be disguised
As I looked to you, I looked to the skies

I wanted to ask you
Why you left so early without saying goodbye
Why you walked away that day
Why you decided to take your own life

Now that I see you I just wanted to say
I was never the same after that day
I was sad inside for what was taken away
But I decided to live my life knowing
I would see you again one one day

I would we would smile, laugh, cry and sing
Together we would giggle as we remember the swing.

The Gift

Hey! Girl!
I just wanted you to know.

I had no choice!
I had to go!

You see...
The first time I saw you,

My heart skipped a beat or two,
From that moment, I lived for you!

We had times of wonder,
And accomplished great things.

That was after we said our vows,
And exchanged some Rings

We had some children,
And found a deeper Love.

There were times so rough,
But we always came through when push came to shove.

And of course, you always had sweet things to say,
And how Beautiful you looked every day.

You were so loyal, and always had my back,
You lead me through some times...so black.

You gave me reasons to live, and be a better Man,
You've always been stronger than I am.

And now days that's hard to find,
You know!.
A partner that's honest, loving, loyal and kind.

So you see?..
The decision wasn't so hard to make,
For you my love,
I did it for your sake

You gave me every reason to live,
Thank you...my beautiful Wife.

So yes! It's me I give,
for you I gave my life!

what is love to me

love is illusive
love has no mercy
love can be so pure
love is high and low
long for that lost love
my heart waits for love

When I depart

She held the curtain to
her cheek not yet ready
for a tear
It would take alot to sadden
that face for she had never
known a fear
But I drove away just the same
with a regret or two of my own
She just didn't know how many
nights she'd be sobbing by the
phone
'What was that spirit he brought
she pondered on a tear stained
pillow..?'
'With him I felt alive again like
a bluejay singing to a weeping
willow..'
How does she count the days when
her silver pot no longer has it's shine?
She counts all as death in the terrible
truth she'd lost one of a kind

Soul Searching for the Love I lost

The trick of being a human is our facets of our emotions. Am I my feelings? Do I feel in order to know that I'm alive? I know I've been here before, I've seen and felt it all. The pain of others laid down before me, taking them as though they were my own, cursed with the burden of absorbing heavy energies, contaminating my mind, heart and my soul while neglecting myself. I came to this life to learn one more thing and that is to shape my reality and in turn be shaped by it. To be shaped by unconditional love and passion. Things and people that impedes the vision of what I want to accomplish is nothing more but a lesson about myself. It is hard. Really hard.To venture out into the cold, selfish world, blindly accepting what the society has set for me to do without my own understanding. It saddens me that people doesn't see and feel what I see, but it's okay it is their lives so they do as they want. All I want is to be happy. Not by other people, not through materialism, but a happiness that radiates within me. It will be a long hard journey I'm sure. It would help if another soul who goes through the same thing is by my side, teaching each other what the other lacks. If it doesn't happen then it's all up to me. To search for myself, my soul in the passions that I emulate and at the end, I will look back on my path, all my memories, all the people I've come to know and love, all the lessons, I'll cry grateful tears and say "Thank You, it's been a long journey, I am ready to go home"

Lost is Love

My heart never rests
Beating in my chest
A rhythm old as time
Does love always wait
Searching for those traits
It can never find
My eyes search for you
Please only for a clue
Convince my skeptic mind
Long my lonely soul aches
Dreaming as it awakes
What is lost in my mind
My body starts to shake
An internal earthquake
So much trouble entwined
Were it not so true
Glaring into seas so blue
Will make me go blind
At last I have to sigh
With no tears left to cry
A loneliness resigned

Love Comes Around

How can I replace
You
What comes around once
Knew
Seasons went by and we
Grew
Nature gave us wings and we
Flew
Secrets never needed a
Clue
Such our love was so
True

A Lucid Dream

I can't wake up!
These succubi
They haunt me-
Another broken love -
Or a forgotten dream?

Trapped in this
Kaleidoscopic maze
Old movie vision
Flickers in my head
From the cinema
Of my life

Exited and restless
Under the sheets
I jolt myself
Half awake
Only to slide
Back into slumber
As time folds over itself

Your spirit must
Be astral travelling
Our spirits
Now ether bound
Co-mingle in the night

I am awake
Or am I?
I toss and turn
In a tangled mess of sheets
And suddenly
I'm walking down the hall
Or am I?
I seem to be floating
I wake with a start
Now agitated
And burning with desire.

Waiting For You

Softly the rain touches my face
Freshly a cool breeze blows
Chatters stalks of tall grass
Bending around my hips
Making my blue lips quiver
Half with cold and hungry for you
Will this discovery ever end
Pleasure as my only thought
Still searches for you
My heart beats all alone
Watching like a ghost
Searching for its bones
Dying to be alive again
Past this emptiness in my soul
Waiting for love to be born

Sleepless nights.

Space and time, wait to see the illusion slipping through my reality.
Crystal clear, broken dreams, open mind for me to see.
Walking on shattered mirrors, test of time, so much clearer.
Clutched heart, hard to breathe, with the final breath, now I see.
Through my eyes, my mind speaks of a place with oceans deep.
Laugh, cry, Godspeed, waiting for what I need.
Close my eyes, try to sleep, but only hear a single heartbeat.
