The prettiest bird is one in flight.
No guilted cage can make thee more beautiful.
Thank you for nesting on my tender bough.
The wind of love has bent me but not broken me.
Each winter's rest awakens me to the light of my seed's future.

I think I am in love when your silence breaks my heart to pieces
I helpless wait to hear you say I Love You
I think I am in love when you ask for love from a passerby
brazenly ask for approval and
discreetly I turn away to let my heart die
I think I am in love when my tears shut my eyes
and urgently I say I Love You
I think I am in love Oh! Oh! Oh! ssssheess!
It is just a dream
I think I am in love.

About this poem:
I was very hurt to find out that the guy I liked so much was interested more in using me to go after other women. He flirted and even followed around some of the women and asked me what I thought about them, their looks and deamenaor. We are still friends and my heart still aches.

You have loved me all these years
Through some smiles but mostly tears
You gave me hurts dressed in flowers
Empty promises like daily showers
Yes you loved me like no other
You even made me a proud mother
Thank you sir but now its my turn
Even for the lies continue to spurn
But please give me the chance I beg of you
To love you now like you had no clue
That it was in me to do all this time
Please I want to love you into sublime
to be continued

I'ts been a long lonely day
And I am lone lonely blue
Not a word have I heard all the day through
She doesn't love me anymore
She's not thinking of me
That's for sure
My heart is broken up
Oh what will I do
It's been a long lonely day
And I am lone lonely blue
If there was a song I could write
Or a poem I could read
But that's not holding her tight
That's only make believe
I had it in my heart to allways be true
How will tomorrow start
For it has been a long lonely day
And I am lonely blue

My dreams were shattered
disturbing visions of you.
Of the horrible ending
and breakup long overdue.
I dont know how to look at you
or how to face you anymore.
The same promises and bullshit
the same lies you told before.
I dont blame you for what happened
i couldnt make it through the day.
The 38 special did it
and i killed myself with it yesterday.
You never told me why you left me
but i guess you know the truth.
A stupid little heartbreak
and all because of you.

Born to life. Killed by Love. Raised by vengeance.
Born to life and all it brought...
Lessons learnt or so i thought...
Knowing that balance would be key to prevale....
As dark births light and starts the scale...
So beauty has time and ugly lies bread truth...
But life has cruel humour when wasted on youth.
Killed by Love and punished with loss...
We gamble our pleasures a fickle coin toss...
Defined by Its promise with passion and glory...
You answer to fate as it planned your story...
It could raise an empire or bring down Its walls...
We sell out for promise and every fool falls.
Raised by vengeance a truth is revealed...
Emotion and coffins in death Are both sealed...
Love lifted us all we fell to our knees....
A promise to marry but most beg and plead...
Dont leave me this way with pain as my sentence...
My death from my life my Love spawned my vengeance...

Today i woke up and loaded my gun...
Each chamber i filled intended for one....
The rounds that i chose are branded by you....
Those moments of hatred that you put me through...
The way you left me i drop like this lead...
My holster is empty the same like our bed...
I point my intent to the pair that i blame...
A smile hides my heart as i then take aim....
You triggered this man to act this way....
Now reap your choices that lead till today.

If there were days enough...
I would learn this Dance,
to dance with you.
The flood light becomes our own sunrise...
like Icarus - we ascend to the heavens,
like Icarus - only to fall to the earth again...
and again.
This is my dream...
our feet shifting the dust,
ancient and coarse,
cold and splintered planks, worn and true...
do they selfishly hide the passion and words from years past?
Or simply crude constructs of oak...and yew.
Another stage to attend Sir Will!
where genius rings true...
and the plagiarist is found and scorned.
Gnostic flames (our path embellished)
illuminate our face,
certain to displace the darkest of shadows...
while leaving enough to hide our scars,
and portend any claim to grace.
This was the Dance,
when steps and twists and turns,
left us both to hope and chance,
and we knew the Light - never to leave -
all the while the wax and wick...
spits, shuffles, contorts and burns.
....much like this Dance.
Gregory.

My heart sinks into the pit of hell as my soul struggles to survive,my sprit has all but left me. Desolation of dreams is what you have given me. Now all that is left is ocean's of tears. Am I not worth loving? Your heart of stone has cemented my very existence into exile. I am nothing more then an empty vessle,as you have taken my very essence and gnawed it into a millon pieces to spit on the ground. Do I dare trust, reach out, care ever agian? NO! I think not, as self preservation is all that remains.

I'll never understand how a father doesn't love his child,
Suppose somethings are better left unknown.
I'm finished being angry,
I've cried my last tears,
This is the last bit of energy I'll ever give to you,
So long,farewell,I bid you adieu.
