The sunshines gone
Grey skies loom over the horizon
The leaves scatter amongst the trees
Thunder strikes in the far off distance
What once was a bright sky full of life
Now holds the sun as prisoner
Lost is the true free spirit
Now being bekoned by the darkness
The world carries on as if all is the same
Only one thing matters to the soul
Life is cradled by love
Broken is a soul to be lost
Scars bare deep perhaps to never heal
Perhaps the fate of this soul is sealed
enternally trapped among grey colourless skies
never again to apreciate true beauty with its eyes
Distance proves the curse holds strong
True love now forever gone

I love her madly, today I love her even more
I'm just so disappointed with the outcome
Her love once consumed me with fire, but now the burning is done
All that's left is the choking smoke then theres the tiredness from boring dilemma
Love gets fingered knuckle deep, but oh well is all I can say
If I peel away this blistered skin just to make it bleed
Then will you pour salt inside the infection to stimulate me
A most unpleasant way for anyone to feel
But for me at least I know its real
So draw a dotted line around this heart of mine
I no longer think I need you

Have you been in love?
Have you shared a kiss?
Have you ever got a hug?
Have you ever gone thru all of this?

I have not, nor ever been.
I have lost time and miss,
I have bitterness inside of me,
I have nothing and noone to be with!

A lonely heart is like being sick
A lonely man is a walking dead
A lonely soul is trying hard to reach
A lonely friend is asking your help

Will you not open your heart for me?
Will you not give me your tender touch?
Will you not kiss and make me happy?
Will you not love freely and come to me?

It’s never enough to say that I’m sorry caught between what I can give and what you want from me. It’s hard to believe I ever said we were meant to be. This love is tearing me apart at the seams. There’s more to what you say than it seems but I can’t read between lines that I can’t see. The more I try the further you run from me but every time I stop I see you waiting for me. Maybe this is the way it was meant to be or am I just running from the things I don’t want to believe. I don’t want to open my eyes to the scene that’s in front of me but I’m tired of pretending. I’m still holding on to how things were in the beginning even though I know you and me are ending. If I could go back in time I’d stop myself from attempting to love you but the thought of you and me is so tempting. In the end you left me empty and walked away with no pity. When I moved on you came along looking so pretty and it was the same old song but I’m starting to see maybe you and me weren’t meant to be.
