Not on my level

Your always the one to judge a book by its cover
Always a hater never a lover
Your driven by negativity and doubt
You think Your way is the only route
I'm tired of your complaining I wont listen to you pout
Been there done that I'm on my way out

Your playin with my sanity
Better cut the shit
You do it all in vanity
Now the flame is lit
Try and take my integrity and I will take a hit
You want to see me fall and help the devil dig the pit

Hide behind you innocence karma knows your name
When you suffer dirty girl your the one to blame
Your " not on my level" we can never be the same
So I will be on my way leaving quicker than you came

Smelling the Undergrowth

She haunched
as the
little widow warmer does

no web no home
no pushing to a shove

touching delicately
each leg and arms in time

upon the ancient wood

If I could
I just would
stand within my prey

but foot steps leave
not a time for another grieve

Why is this so easy?

does bait flow upon my shore?

or with sodden boots
come crushing!
standing on my floor

upon another day
a silent goulish body

waits upon her prey

The Epitome of Loneliness

The Epitome of Loneliness

Love – oh - love where are you
Why must one suffer
Imbedded in loneliness
No one to hold
And none with whom to
Offer their kiss,

Heart why must you wither so
The ache of existence in solitude
Depletes your glow
Leaving you to struggle
With the ineptitude,

Of your lonely station in life
Alone to wither away
To be doomed with no love in sight,

To slowly become a wilted flower
A molten ash heap of past deceit
And lies
Alone to shudder without love
Until at the last the
Lonely and forgotten heart dies.

Release Me

Embedded image from another site

I held your warmth as the sun fled from the horizon
And I saw your face shine as the ocean captured your smile
Later I watched you fade away into nothing like a dying rose
As I counted every single fallen petal as they began falling on the floor
Then I felt a silent breeze and watched it carry them all away
I reached out to catch the very last one, but apparently I was too late
At that very moment my world had a hole in it and my skies turned to black
Time no longer existed, because if it did I would turn the hands of time back
Because I could spend eternity with you in my arms in just one single day
And I would hold onto forever, but in a blink of an eye that day has gone away
Now nothing remains but the scent of the rose and a dream of what it use to be
Nothing is left of me anymore, but a man who wants to believe in that dream
Your holding my heart as it melts in your hands
when I close my eyes your all I can see
I thought that I could let go, but Im not so sure anymore
So would you open your hands and Baby please.......... Release me
Release me.......

my heart betrayed

To me
I saw you
your still there,
as beautiful to be
in the presence of you
making all the stars
in the Heaven's fly
one summers day to kiss you
all dreams even to the end

My rose
unless it gathers thorns
like Cleopatra
I want to be
your Mark Antony
forever yours
into words
as life
passes us by

Never forget
the love
I have
for you,
a real dream
made for a reason,
it is so special

I could never find
the right words
until now
you who suffocates
this heart
the circle
of my life

Whom has the very keys
to this heart,
you are still there
beautiful to me
as a rose
who eclipses,
this very heart
is all
that a woman
should need

Conversations

You speak as if your voice should have a destination
With dysfunctional words and their displacements
But I can only hear a tornado of a hollow conversation
Of a time now passed in the path of its destruction
Only a silhouette is left of your imagination
There is no need for us to add any complications
So light another cigarette and please lets talk some more
As tears begin falling collecting ashes on the floor
Whats really on your mind lets both explore
I loved you madly yesterday and today I loved you more
But I left I thought for our own good
Because love can't stand if its misunderstood
I still remember kissing your your lips under the suns
Radiant warmth that fit like a glove
I cherish the first time I felt your touch
An overwhelming feeling that was almost too much
But the apples core started rotting out
It once was sweet but I really doubt
That we could ever build another bridge
The last one we crossed was made up of twigs
Uncertainty with every step
Perceptions lacking all its depth
More then Love I needed a friend
And stregnth in that our love would mend
But you made a choice and I made mine
Our dreams had wings that would never fly
So tell me what is your remedy
To clear this dramatic melody
Dont tell me you love me then leave me high
Dont say that you want me and leave me dry
We both already have been here before
And my heart just refuses take anymore
Its been broken by love and rebuilt by fear
You say that you want me but you dont adhere
Your words mean nothing only to your complacent
Because love cant shine from a darkened basement
A relationship means nothing if the works are dead
Its just a habit formed without cause or effect
I love you madly today I love you more
But we have already been here so there's the door

Gone Now

Lingering thoughts as I gaze
To memories of happy days
Flowers, fragrances, fuzzy faces
The sense of wonder in your embraces
Gone now
Not even traces
Emptiness like empty trees, naked without their green leaves
A rose without its petals.... only bulbs in cold brown ground
A flagpole missing its flag....stored in a drawer for future use
An umbrella pole without its canopy....what use can it now be
More thoughts of what was
Such joy with you...just because
Laughter, smiles, sense of grace
The sense of wonder in every place
Gone now
No remnants
Void in my heart, a soul that weeps....
Missing something quite unique
A cart without a horse, a guitar without its strings
A bird......... that no longer sings!

Fare Thee Well

Who pulls me forward?

leave my grasp!

a warning cold
I seek

let me feel the drowning
the silence of the bed

a change from feet to tail

a caressing sea weed
lovingly
tucked within my scale

an illuminous heaven
lays down upon my tears

I have had my time of moon light
a sun you can only feel

for a soul of mine
you cannot just take

for I shall just be swept away

within the perfect
Wake

Tears Sank Into The Sea

Two years past since our last day together
Tears streaming from my eyes’ salty rims
Heavy they sank into seas’ forever
Dwelling at bottom where my heart still swims

Trapped in the gurgle of my drowning breast
My pleas for mercy screamed like greedy gulls
Chased away from mere scraps off barren nest
For even love like nature has it culls

In a world that hides its love as treasure
Lost for ages in jungles overgrown
Love only given to me in good measure
Gaining not in value what was never known

Farewell to love hid in the floating chaff
Never wash up ashore on my behalf

Lost Days

It has been days
since I have been
to the very bottom...

Into a well of nothingness
where there is no water
just dry sand and pain...

One fine day
she will look for me
she will not find me...

She will look
north and south
i won't be there..

I will be
where the sun in born
and where the moon hides...

She will look
where the four roads meet
searching for my footprints...

But it will rain
and the strong winds
will sweep them away...
