gone are the days when the wars were just
post up another puppet for the national lust
broken are the bows of the norman kings
atomic war threatens leavin nothin to glean
torn are the hearts of every true love
while dna carries on the most ruthless blood
here and there hide like pockets of gold
the sweetest love stories that have ever been told
like dreams of the gold rush crowds rally to mine
but many search for honey where theres no hive to find
somewhere in the journey one looks up to pray
only to find their mind has powers to help shape the way
amidst all the struggle a spark of hope
our day will come

I couldn't get you off my mind,
I failed no matter how hard I tried,
So I buried you deep inside,
I made a container,
A box of emotion,
With a warning label,
"DO NOT OPEN",
Tied with strings from a
heart that was broken,
Then placed in the bottom
of the deepest hole
With many other memories of old,
It's true somewhere,
I guess I still care,
At least on the surface,
You're no longer there...

He is my precious jewel
A love that warms my soul.
Love so pure and radiant
Within my heart does glow.

My hopes and dreams become reality
When I simply speak his name.
To touch, to feel, to hold him close
Is a blessing all the same.

To love this man and cherish him
To stand right by his side.
To hold him up and give him strength
To look at him with pride.

If this is all he asks of me
Then my work is done.
I love and cherish him already
I cling to him with pride.
For no one is this whole wide world
Could love him more than I.

I CAN’T DENY
My ANGER
My PAIN
My DOUBT
My REGRET

It’s all locked inside my head

And it’s eating me alive
It’s devouring my pride

The happiness I felt
Only yesterday
Today I forget

How is it possible to feel in an unpredictable way?

Why can’t I say what I need to say?
DAMN IT!

Instead

All I hear out of my own mouth
Is filled with the anger, the pain, and all of the doubt

My feelings mixed with such explosive energy

While the anger goads me to SHOUT, KICK or SCREAM

The pain makes me want to just numb out

But the doubt is tempting me to figure stuff out
And to even spell it all out

I’ve never in all my days
Been so horribly mixed up
Feeling what I can’t touch
Dealing out such tough love

Is all this agony really what love is made of?

I see smiles
lips that move
the smooth talkin’
with fangs that drool.

In my younger days
would take you on
now that I’m older
here’s my swan song.

No passion to share
just look in my eyes
been used too much
I can read your lies.

Yesterday drifts
connect the dots
you’ll never capture
what’s left in my heart.

So as I drift
and sink...
into the Sphinx
You better run
before you think.

Found love and lost it
in a flash of lightning,handle the pain as it makes me
remain in hope it will turn to better day
With love I cannot fail, without will I
turn frail.I do not know,if love
will come but will remain fervently
committed to be there for the chance.

Only the lonely fine last nights
tears in the palm of their hands..

Only the lonely pour their
souls out to walls that
cannot hear

Only the lonely can see their
quivering lips in that old
cracked mirror

And only the lonely will hear
a weeping God mend their
broken heart-

It's been a long time now,
Since I've spoken to me.
I hear everyone's troubles,
How can this be.
I forgot how I knew Me,
When I was alone.
Too wrapped up in others,
Forgot my way home....

I've been hustling and busling and rushing around,
Forgot how to find me,
My feet were not ground.
So called neighbor's and friends,
Want to sing all day long,
My throat is too hoarse now,
For singing thier song....

I caught myself in,
The mirror to day,
I met me again,
Coming back the same way.
I forgot what a friend I could be to myself,
I'm putting my feet up,
My phone on the shelf....

I just want my space and the old me, back.
I've missed her so much,
Forgotten the craic.
It's hard to remember the way that we were,
This time I shall hold her,
And cradle with care....

So when your rushing around,
And you glimpse in your mirror,
Say Hi!,
To your self,
See the smile you deliver,
It comes right back at you,
So cradle with care,
The you,,,
You've forgotten,
Just hug yourself there....

look at me or look at sunshine
forever days go by
that i wish you'll be mine
like a sun set
watching you leave is a final recrete
punish me to the end
ill go through hell and back
just for your'e love again

Although this life is short, MY LOVE FOR YOU IS FOREVER!
Let it cost what it may, the day is soon done,
I will either find a way, or simply make one!
My regret is silenced, I control what will effect me,
From nothing, nothing will come,
Attempts are crucial see?
Time away, goes by, with time that goes bye, away from this time,
I see your face is fading away in my mind, this time away from you,
Flies by, my love spent my time with question's of why?
My love quest's for realization,
It does so instinctively without hesitation,
My love has a mind of its own, my love scans for its home,
The distance you've created, with such a dark heart so conceited,
What we have what we had, who we were who we are now,
Still somehow,
The angel's hand & the devil's fist, come at us now with a vengeful wish,
My love stands strong through the changing of the season's,
This is my time, my life, my Age Of Reason,
My nightmare has become reality & this reality hard to face,
Are we capable of fixing this or is it far too late?
I'd give anything & everything demise,
To have that moment again staring in your eyes,
This winding road has got to straighten out for the tranquil silence around me turns to obnoxious shouts,
How did I find myself in this haze of self confusion?
Try to dig myself out of this maze of delusions.
I'd give anything, you know I'd give everything!
To leave this place so ugly & strange,
but I can't be found if not lost,
I can't be knocked down unless first built, can't be let down without being led on by the ways that you claimed you felt.
Did you ever give one true emotion?
As if after years I didn't deserve an explanation or the truth in the open.
The words that needed to be heard were concealed behind your guilt,
Never allowed us on the same level, you always had something to hide,
Some sort of hidden agenda, coming & going as you please,
But I'm attached to you, bringing me to my knee's, 'cause I'm in love with you, it's tragic to know I'll never feel that back!
It makes me want to go no further,
I can carry on no longer,
I LOVE YOU MOTHER,
Goodbye father...

I'm only 22 & have felt the pain of a million tortured souls!
I have felt the breaking in my mind as I have before with broken bones!!
I have felt the suffocation,
Full of shock & disgust gasping for air!
I have felt the flames from hell 'cause your heaven is unfair!
I'll promise to myself to beware of your kind.
I'll hide my wealth, secure my health & protect my mind!
My love will never sever, just stand strong to weather,
We'll always be together, with hold the pressure,
