I do not want to be right.
I would rather be wrong.
So i do not have to sing
that lonesome song.
I want this to last i will
forget the past.
If you just want to hold on.
If you just want to be here
where you belong.
Where your love will flow
abundantly.......and free
from you....to me.
Just answer me now and
tell me what is to be.
Do you still love me?
Is this forever gonna be
or am i gonna sing this
sad song about which once
was and now is gone.
Won't you please sing
with me and let me know
that you and i are going
to be forever true.
Forever you and me.
Forever this love will
be abundant and free

silent times i stray in thought ...
of all the moments my life's brought ...
most of these thoughts reflect on you..
The love we had when Just us two...

I carry on damaged through most normal days...
Your echo's still haunt me in feverish ways....
Escaping your memory is hard from within....
I stubble and fall each time i begin....

I have to break free from these emotional ties ...
Have to find closure from your treacherous lies...
I hate that you still have power inside me....
How can i fight you when i'm my own enermy...

This pain in my heart is constant and clear....
Intruding inside me and feeding my fear...
This poison you gave me with passionate deceat...
has stopped me from living i Die at your feet.

I'm drowning in sadness and clutching to my soul...
In waves of emotions I've lost all control..
To manage my feelings without my demise....
I'm haunted by visions of How my spark dies...

This sorrow i feel gives life to regret...
These tears that you took i cannot forget....
Hollow and empty with nothing inside me....
I'm far from the man i set out to be....

Today I'm still stuck in this morbid State...
I have to move forward and free from this fate....
Thus every fibre of my once reasonable mind...
Reflex a grim future while trapped in this bind...

I wipe my tears to catch my breath....
Each one that fills me denies me from death....
I reached the shores of my willful reason....
Plagued No more by loves fruitless season.

When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see.
If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we never got to say.

I know how much you love me, as much as I love you..
And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too..
But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand..
An angel came and called my name and took me by the hand,
It seemed my place was ready - In Heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind, those things I dearly love..

But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye.
For all of life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, so much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you..
I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad..
I thought of all the love we shared, and how much fun we had..
If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while,
I'd say goodbye, then kiss you ‘til I saw that special smile..

But then I fully realized, that it could never be,
'Cause emptiness and memories, would take the place of me.
And when I thought of all those things, I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. .
But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, From his great & golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity, and all I've promised you.
Today your life on Earth is past, but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last,
and since each day is the same day, there's no longing for the past. .
But you have been so faithful, so trusting and so true,
Though there were some times you did some things you shouldn't do. .

But you have been forgiven, and now at last you're free,
So come and take me by the hand, and share my life with me.."
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me, I'll be right there - in your Heart..

I crawled for you till black and blue....
And Lost my way from life to you....

I lied So true from me for you....
All that i had we squandered for two....

I fooled myself that my lust was real....
Passionate poison was all i would feel....

I looked at you with blissful eyes...
Tricked by your Form, that deadly disguise....

I carry on living although ripped apart....
Tempered and plagued by my haunted heart....

I once loved a girl with honour and trust...
She killed me inside, her methods unjust...

I wake up each day less numb than before....
Stronger this way but a fool never more.

Asleep and I dream and in the dream
He and She with no mention of money
No reference to the status quo
where time seems to flow

With peace and forever
and the voice of never
Is heard with the words
Say goodbye

When I awake I reach for my pen
But how does one write words that have no end

In this dream I find her hand in mine
As I see tears in her eyes

Afar as the eye can see
i am standing alone by the sea
waiting for the guest to be
to stand next to me

Alone i feel standing here
looking down into the abyss
for you have been gone years
snatched away from me

Clouds race by and as far as i can see
the waves coming in are laughing at me
glancing around what do i see
you have always been here with me

Never will i be alone
with you standing next to me
for memories of you
will always be cherished by me

Wait for me at heavens gates
and always have that smile on your face
i am no longer alone
now that your with me

She cried, my Lady, my lady, as her Maid came through the door,
Ther'se news about your Lord Ship, While she scurried cross the floor.
Her Lady's at the window, In her Waiting chair she stayed,
From the day her Lord had left her, to fight with the Crusade....

A tear fell down the Ladys face, with joy that news had came,
When she opened up the seal mark, her tear just turned to pain.
For down it fell before her feet, was the petal of a rose,
No words were spoken, her maid turned white, For every body knows....

The petal of the rose had brought, To her the final news....
Her Lord was killed in battle, Now her true Love she did lose.
She lifted up the petal and she cupped it to her breast,
She didn't want to take the news, she must put him, to his rest....

The Lady dropped down to the floor, her cries were heard all round,
Her Soldiers and her Guardians, in the castle grounds.
All bowed thier heads in silent prayer,
For they knew, what news had come.
They knew, she waited at the window, For her love Lord to return....

From the day she pressed that petal, to her lilly pure white breast,
It left it's print upon her, She wore him on her chest.
They brought him home, She did mourn, She put him in the ground,
And at night when all was quiet,
you could hear her wailings, sound....

she was sixteen when this happened, when she lost her only love,
She never left her Waiting chair, in the tower up above.
She sat by the window, Day and night, untill her heart did brake,
Sixty years, she waited for him.
They carried (HER), then to her wake....

They laid her down beside her Love, in the castle grounds,
From the day that they had buried her, you couldn't hear a sound.
For sixty years her wailing, had travelled on night air,
The day they laid her with her Love,
There was silence every-where....

Now she's finally re-united,with her one and only Love,
The petal mark upon her chest, had turned into Dove.
It carried her soul to him,
In the sky, way up out there.
Now she rides upon his big white horse,
With her true Love,
On the air........

Memories!

When I was a young man, I was called to war, the army drafted me and sent me to a foreign shore

I fell in love with my true love, a War Bride did I adore

We married 42 happy years and how I wanted more

When I think back on how fast life goes bye,
blessed knowing that she was the one for me!

But the Gods thought otherwise and took my angel far away to live in their heaven’s sea

My love and companion to share life‘s dreams they took away from me!

This is the story I want to tell to you, for all that it’s worth!

I hope you find the one that shares your love while you are both here on earth!

Memories are nice, but to hold on to her would have been much better!
