And There You Go

You laid your body down
raised your hands
to your'e savior

Time passed
grasses now with hay
fleeting butterflies
homing bees

yet still you went away

You are happy now
chosen
her

I am too

An awakening

Nevermore

I know who is the killer when I’m dead,
Love is to blame, but I am done with that.
Peace dwells where it was meant to be love’s nest,
It is my soul that’s stripped of love, for all is vain.
I never thought that love would ever harm and kill,
Hoped it would give me time, my efforts it would spare.
And if it dealt a blow it would then charge and miss,
And if it showed abyss I wouldn’t mind and care.
I thought I would be reconciled and bear the blow,
As all I needed was regard and feeling strong.
But what I've got is heart devoid of love and hope,
It wasn’t meant to be, it seems, your love is gone.
Don’t think I’ll ever miss you any more,
The void inside me tells me - nevermore.

About this poem:
An attempt at sonnet and Master Fellsman's valuable advice. I miss the time how it used to be and poets who left this corner very much. Hope they are coming back some time! Thank you, Master Fellsman, once again!

Tell, people, how much it takes..

Tell, people, how much it takes
His words to leave behind, forget,
Accept the fact there’s no way back,
That our time has been just chapter
Of novel big and very sad,
In which mere party third I am?!
He’s open, tells me right up front
How ring for her he bought,
That yesterday another night
He went and spent with her,
How gently held her in his arms,
How happiness to him she brought.
Tell, people, how much it takes.
A wineglass? One? Or maybe five?
Or maybe simply poison drops
Can still such pain as mine?
Wish I forgot: not long ago
I too was in her place,
And round and round we gently waltzed,
He wished ME, no one else.
Don’t want to think, Lord gracious, please,
Put everything in place in life!
No wine – I will indulge in dreams
And drink the herbs instead of wine.
Still in my dreams I’ll see in pain
Dear features of your face,
Still I will long to closer stay,
To feel I’m loved I’ll wait and wait …
Tell, people, tell me what will help
To pardon, let him walk away
To one - bit younger than I am,
My heart no more to love him help?..

About this poem:
Just another translation of a young poetess - wonder what's wrong with me! Love is not that easy, one can be severely tested by love and succumb to desperation or come out a victoriously free soul ready to take another chance. Life is short, better not succumb, but keep trying to be happy!

Tatiana Snezhina was born in Ukraine, she lived in Moscow and died in the city of Novosibirsk. She became famous in Russia after her tragic death in a car accident on August 21, 1995. She was very young when she died, only 23 years old, she wrote over 200 poems that are still used by Russian pop singers in their songs.

All that I want from you is smile

Oh, do I really want too much?
Tell, did for more I ever ask?
All that I want from you is smile,
All that I want from you is smile,
Tell, is it much, too much to ask?

I know my hair is showing white,
I know old age will soon arrive,
All that I want from you is smile,
All that I want from you is smile,
Tell, is it much, too much to ask?

It’s only you to me that's left,
Heart's aching for you’re far away,
It is torment, but there's no other way.
Know not from where my longing comes,
Know not why thirst for you is such.
Tell, what is it you want with me?
What is the wrong to you I've done?
Tell, what is it you want with me?
What is the wrong to you I've done?

Oh, do I really want too much?

Memorys fade

There may come a time
When memory of places that we used to be
Fade away and die
like last years autumn leaves
I will close my Eyes
I still see your shinning smile
and in my heart
I will be with you once more

Hear your voice I over again

Hear your voice I over again,
Hear and pale I grow,
As with the soul I parted ways
With loveliness of yours!

Had a torment like this I known
Early at crack of dawn,
I wouldn’t have loved, I wouldn’t have nursed
The olive-skinned gypsy girl.

What is the point to heat up in vain
Blood that has frozen in veins?!
To love me you, alas, have failed,
While I am unable to forget.

The lonely wolf

It is so dark in the forest of concrete and steel.
I sense the rushing busy souls without feel
I can hear the shouting and cries of despair
I can smell the new days danger in the air
I know my lonesome way to stay free
but one day I follow the calling
for my soul and she !

Compare myself a little lonely and stressed from people fall in love eith objects more in a relationship than

traces

shattered pieces all around some lost forever some washed ashore, did you find the other half of the one you gave me...

cleft asunder pieces of you and I
touch softly the debris it's all I have left over of who you once were, to me my one love...

in my hand I gently hold that one perfect being you once had been just for me only for me
love tied me tight but oh so softly it encircled my ' being' not a drop did mess the earth with blood

even traces shall not be here or anywhere

never shall be
ever no more

Thinking of you

I Miss you
A little too much
A little too often
And a little more every day
Thinking of you
I miss you

THE HARDEST THING I EVER HAD TO DO (WAS MAKE MYSELF LEAVE YOU)

Hey, why are you knocking at my door
what could you possibly want me for
Pain is resurfacing seeing you here
but you knew that when deciding to appear

Don't dare stand there claiming to have cared
mutual love and respect was never shared
I constantly gave of myself while in turn you just took
you maliciously hurt me by showcasing a provocative look

I was just a game you figured would be easy to play
I'm certain you felt superior treating me that way
Passion turned into something I had to beg for
when we had sex you made it seem like a chore

From you deception wasn't the only consistent thing I got
you also made sure my emotions stayed tied in a knot
Pain you induced daily I couldn't let show on the outside
tears I cried because of you fell plenty on the inside

Why you decided to do me the way you did is truly sad
you'll regret losing the best you could ever have had
I graduated from the road of getting over you my dear
you get to witness me shed for you this one last tear

When together you chose to act as if you were free
so take all your vile mendaciousness and flee
