Honey, I'm Feeling Lonely, Honey, I'm Feeling Blue

Hey there, Baby, I'm all alone now, the kids are tucked in bed.
When you left just a few days ago, I remember what you said.
You said, "Babe, I really love you, the time will go by fast.
Before you know it, I'll be back and the future will be the past.
So keep your chin up and hold the fort down, give the kids a kiss each day.
Tell them, I'll bring them back a special gift, from a land quite far away."
Well, I've tried to take these words to heart, but the time is going slow.
I know you think that I'm real strong, but there's something you don't know;
And that is,

Honey, I'm feeling lonely, Honey, I'm feeling blue.
I wish that you were here with me, or I were there with you,
But what can't be, can't be, me with you, you with me,
So take my love into your heart and hold it tenderly.

Well, now Baby, in the daytime, the loneliness hides away.
But when the sun goes down and the lights go out, that's the loneliest time of day.
I can't help but want you near me, your warm touch and gentle kiss,
The pillow talk that we'd have each night is what I mostly miss.
I overheard our children praying, saying bring my Daddy home.
So tonight I felt it right to just sit down and write this poem.
We can't wait for you to come home, it'll be a special day.
It seems to help to write it down, and to say what I have to say.
Except for tonight when,

Honey, I'm feeling lonely, Honey, I'm feeling blue.
I wish that you were here with me, or I were there with you,
But what can't be, can't be, me with you, you with me,
So take my love into your heart and hold it tenderly.

Please, God, Bring Them All Home Safely!

This line we forever stand

This line we drew was one drew by few.
With blood and tears we drew for you.
To protect what is true is our motto to you.
One nation our nation the flag flies foever true.
We march onward forevermore not to claim glory or fame.
our love of our land make us stand and with our hearts we fight
No matter the cost no matter the stakes this bond we hold can not breaks. as long the heart beats we will rise to our feet on this line we foever stand proud.

Scribbling

Sometimes it is good to just scribble
Other times it is good to giggle
I find my self having a game within the game
It does not mater nothing remains the same
Darwin suggests "those that adapt the quickest will survive"
I wonder what Einstein and Da Vinci would contrive
It is all good one day at a time
Music the noise the wonderful chime
Walking in the hustle of the crowd
being close to the one you are most proud
Wondering from one city to another
all of us sister and my brother
Accepting the laws of the land
marching in rhythm with the band
The march of life is uphill
uncertainties give me a chill
Decisions are to be made
Thoughts to improve the grade
This choice or that choice what do I say
Jumping and dancing all day I play
I have to be accountable for all of my actions
from banking shopping and all the infractions
Keep your head up be positive and true
the land and the wondeful ocean blue
We enter this world as babies
and face all of the maybes
Does it every make sense
Daily activities to condense
Go forth be strong and brave
The righteous truth I crave
Good night to one and all
Do not hesitate to give me a call

~Hero in Time~

The smoke clears
I can see through all the tears..

A man in uniform
Here to keep his country from harm..

Whither friend or foe
He has to know..

The heart is strong
And feels right from wrong..

If the story be told
There’s one more from the same mold..

Young boy to the man that be
Father would be proud of the man I see..

Grown up with lessons learnt
From pasted mistakes that burnt..

Feeling touch and hands reach out
Nothing needed, not even a shout....

I'm Over It"

With blood apon his hands
he looked towards the walls

Where can I lay my thoughts
where can I secretly appear

He hid within his shield
thrashed to
whom may come

I know not what
befalls me

Its your faith that keeps my son

He turns in circles
meets his enemy where they lie

He looks upon with dead set eyes

then puts forth his deadly spies

He looks and will see no one
upon the sands of heat
he played the queen of spades

Oh god will I lose my feet

I do not know this land mum
I came to make a stand

I still love all

not knowing

the ultimate plan

His silent tears he cried
so deeply from his heart

He ponders
you will never know, my friends
It actually happened from the start

I sweep amongst the enemy
and watch my back as we do

As an eagle I look
I truly wish, no death unto you

I cannot write to say
I have lost my limbs or eyes

As deserving of whom I am
will they be there when I rise?

My screaming heart of felt
has slipped behind the door

I do what I do,God damn it!
I just don't know anymore!

You came home to a world
of a land,
that said
they would care

We all fell silent
our pain, we would share

Then my friend they brought you home

In a box all alone

Our first fallen soldier
your duty was bound

No war ever won,
But home
safe and sound

For Ever Our Everlasting Son

"With Love "Aroha"

To all all whom have fallen....

No Place Like Home

I've never had a place I could call home
Just like a Gypsy I have always roamed

In three different countries I have lived
At five different times
And in between all that I could never find

A place called home
To call my own

So I moved and I moved
Never staying in one place for more than a couple of years
Wondering what was driving me to search for my home

Then three years ago
I awoke
And realised what I was looking for

A place where I could belong
A place what I could call my own

And it had been with me all the time
I had simply been to blind

Home is where the heart is
Home is where your love lives

Not what's around you
But within inside you

Different countries
Different cultures
Different cities

travelled I have a lot
And now I'm tired

Its my turn to now rest in my real and only home

In my Galaxy

Heroes of Nine-Eleven

Could not believe what I had seen,
All the horror and the killing.
How could anyone so cruel have been?
As if lives weren't worth a shilling.

But for each of those who destroyed,
A hundred heroes rose to save.
Ev'ry art and skill they employed,
Making sacrifices so brave.

Risking life and limb they went in,
To do ev'ry thing that they could.
And battles with death they did win,
As we always knew that they would.

And let us not ever forget,
The other victory that day.
Those who decided not to let,
The mad destroyers have their way.

Those heroic souls who fought back,
May they live on in memory.
The brave ones who thwarted attack,
Of United ninety-three.

The mourning came but never went,
It's going on to this day.
But in this war we'll not relent,
Nor let terror have its way.

To Our Flag

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

Verse I

In the good ol' U.S.A.,
Thank the stars for ev'ry day.
Where the people know they're free
To be who they want to be.
It's the country of my birth.
There's no finer place on earth.
And I love our Stars and Bars,
In peacetime, and during wars.

Chorus

May she wave on through the night!
May she always stand for right!
May she guard the ones who guard us,
Keep them safe til mornin's light.

Verse II

The defenders of our Flag,
Never stop and never sag.
Working hard both night and day,
So that we can live our way.
May not always quite agree,
With so called powers that be,
But the brave that for us fight,
Glory, keep them safe tonight.

Verse III

As their buddies they protect,
Those at home they don't neglect.
They go fight for you and me,
So our Flag flies o'er the free.
There are nations far and wide,
Wave their country's flag with pride.
That to me is more than fine,
You wave yours and I'll wave mine.

About this poem:
Blatant, unabashed patriotism. Not stylish, I know, but it's how I feel. Got nothin' against other countries, have visited a few and hope to visit a lot more, but this will always be MY country.

Fighting Dwyer

I walk among the hills of Wicklow
and wander her valleys so green
the sites of ancient battles
etched in stones to be seen.

no matter what lands I wander
There is none to compare
to the vale of Glenmalur
with the little river flowing there.

It sweeps and flows down from the mountain
Like threads of spidery lace
It weaves its way along the valley
as I walk, I feel its mist upon my face.

I follow it from ford to inn
Where I stop to eat within
I sit and watch, families come and go
But I the watcher, dream of ancient foe.

Arise Irishmen and throw the invaders out
Fighting Dwyer and his band so shout
Were badly beaten in the rout
And had to hide in brush about

In Glenmalur they hid so well
Among the hills and in the dell
Fighting for Ireland free
Dwyer’s band for all to see

Led the English a merry dance
Dwyer’s band never lost there chance
To fight the foe and then romance
The local lassies at the crossroads dance

1804 and surrender agreed
Michael Dwyer and band were freed
Dishonourable England did negate
Botany bay and penal servitude did await.

Oh vale of Glenmalur with stories you abound
I hear them in my head, as you I walk around
Majestic mountains, river and the brook
of Drumgoff barracks! of you, i could write a book.

Glenmalur the fairest of the vales
I will visit, once more to hear your tales
Mountain, little river and the brook
Glenmalur I long for and never will forsook.

Race! which is most potent?

What's the true meaning of race? Here's truely a diverse and sensitive case. Human race: let's have a look. Mortal man competing, yes that mook! Animals also races, at man's hand. Horses and others, at his command. Then there is the white race. That's people originating from european base. Black, mixed and races of different colour. Originally from continent africa and/or another. There is also the race of arms. The race" between russia and americans. That race has extended to outerspace. And this planet is being defaced. Man faces a-real threat of extinction; can race offer a credible solution? Environmental pollution is distructive, a crime. Fighting global-warming a race, against time.
