Amor and I

Mi amor and I
sometimes argue
over little things
still we say, "I love you."

My love and I
always fight fair
cos still we
breathe the same air...

Mi amor and I
never shake fists or shout
or raise voices
each other we cannot live without

My love and I
our love is natural
we are forever soul mates
we are eternal...

Mi amor and I
are two very old trees
on top of lush green hill
amidst a warm summer breeze...

Guardians of Souls

The red Indians have them
they worship them daily
so many different ones
each guiding and leading

to find your own guardian
you need to be very quiet
in a secluded place rest
close your eyes and drift

go deep then deeper still
inside yourself just wait
suddenly your guardian
will appear to you beckoning

still pause as sometimes
you will have two guardians
if so, very blessed are you
they will guide and watch over

help you also when they can
show you the right path
so when you hear that voice
listen to what it is saying

it is at its loudest when
you are in great peril
trust in your inner feelings
for they're sent by your guardians

to lead you to paradise on earth
no harm will come if you listen
follow what you learn from them
guardian spirits I hold out my hand

Humanity challenge smmerwind(can do)

Can do!!
As I arise to face a new day
The governments in foul play.
Taxation is a total drain
Crime is a money gain
Pollution clouds my, cell brain
Healthcare is a crying shame
Love is a constant pain
Hatred may never end.

You ask me what I can do,
I measure life as you do to
We can't get away from it
Life is basically, what it is
I can only pursue, my own
Happiness.

Blaming, fighting, fear & pain.
We all know it, there's nothing to gain.
No sense in crying establishment blues
Hunger, disease, poverty, love, hate nothing new.
It only feeds the anger, we fuel
It's human nature, win or lose
Chose not to be like them
Love unconditionally that's your tool.

You ask me what I can do,
I measure life as you do to.
There's only so much, one can do.
When time to give,
gift with a open heart.
A peaceful demeanor,
is a pure start....

About this poem:
Change is slow. Although I (we) contribute, in our own way.
I am a realist!!!. No man is a island!! This is the world we live in....for now!!
Corruption & greed is a crucial part in how we help ,love, respect, & value one another.
Thanks for the challenge smmerwind ,,best I could do...

starsign challenge. (A Scorpio's Kiss)

A Scorpios kiss...
A scorpios kiss,
Is one not to miss
A suculant dish,
Of secret myths.
A sensual being,
That's hypnotic, yet
Appealing.
Revealed in the eyes
A stare that paralyze
The object of a heart's
Desire.
That dwells in, a loving
Disguise.
Is magnified & personified
By intuition, they thrive.
There emotional ties,
Abhors sufferation, of any kind.
In justice they seek,
To help provide for the meek.
If the cause is worthy,
there loyalty, is unswearving.
Brutal honesty, often misunderstood
For trying to do good.
Although humorous,
creative & kind
Oversensitive nature,
is perceived
A most negative vibe.
But with each kiss
There is a dangerous twist!!!!
When hurt they bring,
A most painful sting!!!!
A self defense mechanism
Sealed with a kiss!!!!
From a scorpios lips:)

he helped

my internal prayer
god love of god
drip fed love
starving the one feeling
alienating a beautiful dream
a dark force in my realm
talking in the garden
whispering sweet nothing
spreading dicease in my mind
upon my garden of eden
a cancer spreading
you bestow darkness
love of god saved me
clearing the disease
showing me the truth
my guiding light
fear of the darkness
and all the evil within
my light in shining armour
shining bright
guided me to you
i just had a little faith

This Rock

Embedded image from another site

Breathe it in than beathe it out
What took me a life time just to figure out
That what I've been is not what I should be
And who I am takes me away from me

The current is moving fast and I'm moving slow
Holding onto the anchors that I should let go
But You cast a net and it draws me near
It seems the closer that I get I drift away in fear

The breaking water reflects what I've become
As you put the pieces back where I have come undone
But I will pull off my pride and swim to shore
Bring me back to the place that I was once before

Is this where I am for Your sake
Drowning from the ripples of my own wake
But Im coming in so please cover me
And On This Rock Lord please comfort me

Beautiful Disaster

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----I found God while smoking my last cigarette
Holding on to the chains that bind me to regret
Remembering all the things that I know I should forget
But all this time I failed to see the colors behind Your silhouette
I then opened my eyes to fall in love with first light
Shedding my skin from the last night when I died
And I will still hold my breath until I meet death
With every new day I awake I wil die in this flesh
Giving life to a spirit under the weight of my shame
While everything turns into dust my faith will remain
Mountains will crumble and fall to the sea
Such a beautiful disaster I found inside of me

Celestrial Orchestra

Shards of light crack the darkness
Barely showing through
The echoes of yesterday reverberate
Throughout the cosmos

Pain and suffering twists and turns
Doubling back on itself
Deafening silence as the stars
Snuff out of existence

To the tumultuous applause
Of the gods the universe dances
To the unheard sound
Of the celestial orchestra

And man cowers in his corner
Small, insignificant, unnoticed

Cross Empty

When I look at the cross
I do not see you there
among the vines, enwrapping.
I see you soaring in my mind
soul rising above, showing
way to redemption’s
salvation, knowing
through Love you lived, died
remain a beacon, glowing.
Above pools of greens and blues
iris of eyes reflecting beauty clear
as voices rise to sing of hope
I feel your spirit near.

While the Gregorian chant
stirs feelings deep with only
two syllables solemnly played,
do not we tears of joy, of passion cry
as memories float through musical air
to heart, marking it with a believer’s sigh.

Keeping time, together we hum
evolve into our greater selves.
Harp strings buck the sterile silence
from separation, from loss, freeing
body, soul with notes streaming.
Crossing the threshold to healing
worldwide, voices rejoice and sing.

visions or illusions (challenge)

visions through misty streams of fog
sometimes espied then in a blink gone
what was it that briefly appeared
was it even ever really there?

a shifting shape a puzzling glimpse
do my eyes deceive me as I peer
trying to see if its real or not
my eyes oft do perceive an illusion

for such creatures can't really exist
they are the things of legends
yet my soul says they are really there
which should I believe I ask myself?

of all the things that come to us
in dreams or awake are they just hocus pocus

About this poem:
what am I seeing? it could be something real or maybe mythical
make up your own lets see who has the best vision or illusion
fellsman knows what I am thinking of and has pictures
you can either guess what I am thinking off and describing in my poem or make your own poem keeping within the theme of vision or/ and illusions
final choice is Bill's on the poems
a joint one on guessing what I see
