INESTIMABLE HEART

On a dark lonely road north of Little Rock,
Winds howling through the trees,
Maggie drove along slowly,
Feeling quite ill at ease,

She rounded a curve barely creeping,
She could hardly see the road,
She clicked high beams on then suddenly,
She saw a figure coming her way slow,

A tiny little girl in a stained white gown,
Clutching her dripping dolly tightly to her chest,
Maggie pulled alongside and opened the door,
And nearly lost all of her breath,

"Get in child," Maggie said comforting,
This heartache barely pulled herself in,
Maggie saw the bloodstains on her nightgown,
Then this grateful Little Angel grinned,

"Why are you alone Sweetheart?", Maggie asked,
"And tell me why you are here?",
"He dragged me into his car so fast!", she cried,
Then came flooding, a tiny Angel's tears,

Maggie brushed them away softly,
"I promise to do all I can",
"What's your name child?," she asked,
"Naomi May Massey, will you please help me ma'am?"

It's been seven years now,
Since that dark rainy night,
Naomi's in such a happy home now,
But Maggie often wonders what might,

Have happened to this child,
Had she not passed that way,
It was not her intended route,
She had detoured to avoid a delay,

Clutching her heart she now realizes,
Her true destination suddenly revealed,
It wasn't her hands steering her car,
The mighty Hands of God had taken the wheel.

About this poem:
I believe God does at times have Angels intervene in His children's lives. Only, it may not become clear to us until years later.

Garden of Life

Life is like a garden of seasonal change
Spring first ushered in by gentle rain
The crocuses, daffodils and tulips abound
While the birds are singing all around

Spring fades to summer slowly
As all the trees regain their green foliage
Hot steamy days and warm muggy nights
Makes for the garden to grow in great strides

With cooler nights and a touch of frost
Fall brings harvest and a bumper of crops
Pumpkins become Jack-O-Lantern faces
And corn fields are turned into unusual mazes

During winter the garden is asleep
Waiting for the first gentle rain it seeks
Snow lies like a blanket keeping the plants warm
Until the return of spring when they will become reborn

When life fades it must be like a new spring
Waking in Heaven where all the Angels sing
Happily tending to God’s garden above
Surrounded by all of those that you love

Anytime Soon

Jesus is coming back
You know that's a fact
Anytime soon

The trumpets will surely sound
People dropping their cell phones to the ground
Anytime soon

Last text message read
Someone has raised the dead
Anytime soon

Earthquakes tsunami breaks
Before your shopping is done thy kingdom come
Anytime soon

THE LITTLE VIOLET

Far-Far away in a dark forest so deep
A little violet awoke from its long winter’s sleep
Slowly lifting its head up towards the sky
To see all the migrating birds fly by

Thinking and wishing wistfully at times sighing
To be a bright yellow beautiful dandelion
Basking in the lovely warm sunshine
Instead of in the deep dark shade of the pine

To be bold and out in the open for all to see
Instead hiding in the forest under all the trees
Then suddenly it heard a great powerful noise
Peeking out it saw a machine pushed by a boy

Moving across a lawn cutting all in its path
And suddenly the little violet was feeling very glad
That it was in the forest hid away from all
As it watched the beautiful yellow dandelions fall

Dreams

Dreams

Dreams are just ubiquitous feelings
Whose direction really scatter
Hard to watch sometimes
When the truth will really flatter
Where courage never fails us
Causing trust to shatter
All the whilst the raindrops fall
Softly with a pitter patter
Even when voices are vague
Conversations just chitter chatter
Olympic feats and memorials
Only fitting for such a satyr
So dreams are only dreams
Even if they sometimes matter

Build Me Into A Mountain Lord

Build Me Into
A Mountain Lord

Build me into a mountain Lord that others will see by sight.
The deposits formed within me God are by your might.
As your rain falls upon me Father and washes the soil within,
It will fall through the crevices of rock as washing away of sin.
Years of toil and pain will daily, upon this mountain lay,
As the layers of sediment forming Lord, a beautiful rock to stay.
Standing tall and firm through weather Lord, that beat upon my soil,
Will only cause a sure bold stance by so many trials and toil.
Coming into the heavenly’s hovering spiritually with you one on one.
Stirs up the love and gifts of you that are shared too by your son.
Feeling this fire within me Father that day-by-day does stir.
Your presence grows thicker as the aroma of fine myrrh.
Your fire not quenched my God by none or any others.
Will only pull Zion together as we are all brothers.
Deep within this mountain Lord in the heat of your love.
Is an ever abounding flow of lava flowing from above.
This lava Lord is none other than Jesus Christ your son.
As this land we have inherited, with his blood it has been won.
May we stand tall and firm in that the heat will stir in all.
As you my Father have all in hand and we are at your call.
The mountains are growing daily Lord and spewing from the top.
As harvest time is very near, in time, it is the crop.
Lava flows perfectly and forms all to what you desire.
The foundation of this earth will be cleansed by your fire.
Build me into a mountain Lord that I may spew the word.
As within me is your fire Oh God! All across the land will be heard.
Amen.
Ps 98:7-8
7. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
8. Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

Walking the Universe

Space the aftermath, being final of what was and what is the infinite. Life born into particles matters stream floating around the universe coiling though the faces of energy.

Future of the elements superimposed riding the planes into the void of darkness which becomes light then there was hush of silence that fall upon the ground.

Solar flares arch across the sky with stars twinkling transmission voyages into dreams going into the mind eyes.

THE SHELF

Placed away on a shelf out of sight
In the darkness – not a speck of light
Only taken out once or twice a year
Hanging around to always be near

The years go by one by one the same
Sitting there hid as though in shame
Only taken out in the dark of night
To be still hidden even in full sight

As time passes by waiting there
Worn – ragged – with lots of tears
No longer waiting but resigned despair
Knowing eventually the time will be near

Again the time comes to bring out to see
But behold - no longer there – now free
Gone forever – not sitting there
Reaching out – but meeting nothing but air.

STARS IN MY SOUL

My soul belongs to the Stars and Heavens
It is captured inside this earthly abode
It struggles like a bird to be free
So that it can fly carefree to its star home

Not meant to be weighed down here
It strives to be happy and carefree
Needing to join in with the stars above
Where it is free to twinkle for eternity

Free to follow its dream without any care
To do what ever it wants without fear
For my soul was born in the Stars above
It yearns to return to twinkle with love

Changing

Die Haare wachsen, die Nägel auch,
Es gluckert ständig in unserem Bauch,
Nix ist fix, nichts hat Bestand,
Bringt uns das wirklich an den Rand?

Alles formt sich stetig um,
Es lohnt nicht der Erinnerung –
Doch wir bleiben häufig dumm.

Statt hinzuspüren, nachzudenken,
Weshalb wir uns‘re Zeit verschwenden,
Mit festhalten an so viel Sachen,
Die uns nur bösen Kummer machen,
Verpassen wir so mit der Zeit
Die allerbest‘ Gelegenheit
Stets Änderungen anzufühlen,
Im Hintergrund herumzuwühlen:
Auch das Schlechte – nimm‘s doch wahr –
Wird weggespült, das wird doch klar –
Ist das nicht wirklich wunderbar?
