The illusion...

It is powerful and all-pervasive,
It is inescapable and all-encompassing,
Like the mythical Hydra,
It’s always in front of you, on the path just ahead, waiting to devour the unsuspecting...,
Most, by far, fall prey to it, never knowing it could have been sooo otherwise...

Call it ‘karma’[which I personally don’t believe in], ‘luck’, ‘coincidence’, ‘meaninglessness’, ‘existentialism’, ‘Darwinism’, etc., etc., it matters not...,
Suddenly, one awakens; one realizes it’s all a daydream, a chimera of gargantuan proportions...,
The shock is huge...!!!

Now what?
Indeed, ‘to-be-or-not-to-be’, ‘what-to-be’, ‘what-to-do’, ‘what-to-have’, become the begging questions...,
And so begins a ride that no amusement park can possibly reproduce,
I sure hope you enjoy most of your ride, friend,
Bon Voyage...

God song

Random acts of vengence
just so hate can breed
Those of us who hurt ourselves
are victums of our greed

A pergatory of permanance
a place to place your brain
Because once you look inside yourself
you'll never be the same

Poetic propoganda
to make you think your free
Don't believe a word you heard
unless it came from me

Self inflicted sorrow
lies consume our lives
Life repeats itself
and in the end everybody dies

Apcolyptic exile
ashes of pain
Death, deatn, death
F**k the world and all the rest

I create
I destroy
I recreate
and destroy again

Yang/Yin...

Throughout my life, I have tried to understand the feminine spirit,
Sigh..., yes, I know, ladies, its mission impossible,
However, every now and then I get glimpses, however small and pathetic they may seem, of that inexhaustible labyrinth we call... woman...

Today was such a day,
As I was pondering why this ‘war’ between the sexes,
I ‘realized’ that for men its ‘enough’,[and please we’re speaking generally, here, there are always exceptions...]to just coast along, so long as we’re ‘moving’,
‘movement’, man, go, go, go and go some more,
As evidenced in the insane way we drive,
Why, pray, why the intensity to get from A to B with such maniacal speed and ferocity, devouring everyone in our path?
And when we get there, we have a smoke and a drink, and heck, we’re ready to ‘go’ again, but, ‘why’, and, ‘where’ and ‘how’???
god knows, maybe, I certainly don’t, just don’t get in my way, man, I gotta keep movin’, movin, movin, grrrr...
I imagine women must view this spectacle with deep despair...

Women on the other hand, I’m sure they’ll correct me if I’m wrong[I must be a masochist to stick my neck out like this..., lol...],
Women need to see ‘purpose’, they need to see ‘nurturing’, they need to see ‘survival’, i.e., the assurance that, for example, a relationship will last and produce the desirable fruits of...,
Love, joy, peace, romance, prosperity, health, all the ‘good-stuff’ for everyone in the equation[why is it an equation to the masculine spirit and not a ‘nice’ close family? Yang/yin/yang/yin/yang/yin...]...

Yeah, ‘purpose’ ‘nurturing’, ‘survival’,
Good luck with that guys,
What! You expect me to elaborate?
You must be kiddin’, right,
Besides, I gotta get goin’ man,
Where, I dunno, I’ll tell you when I get there...

What A Poet Said (Acrostic)

What is it that you write here on this page
How do you manage these words so scrambled
And sometimes people think that they make sense
These words so carelessly flung hither and tither
And yet, when ever so closer we shall look
Perhaps these words twist and twirl, a dance
Or so it seems, to some distant unheard music
Ever onwards, then upwards and outwards
Til finally they reach their final destination
So my friends, it is there I will leave you
And bid my final farewell, Adieu, adieu, adieu
I am gone, finished, concluded
Departed, left, not here

Internet Set

Google, Amazon, Yahoo and Bing
Search engines with algorithms that swing
Keywords, rankings each tell their own unique tale
of failure or success, with every new sale
Twitter, Google and Facebook matter
Social networking to increase relevant chatter
The Internet is a world of its own
Clicking on links, a habit now grown
Website owners pay for impressions
Others make video sessions
Promotion and advertising are in the lead
Interesting news delivered as a feed
Whatever the topic, be it books or crooks
The Internet delivers all of these, disguised beneath good looks
Sex, drugs, p*dophile
Lunatics searching for juveniles
Harmful beings are on the loose
Bullies are trying to tighten the noose!

About this poem:
I wrote this poem in my spare time.
I am naturally a deep thinker and when I was young, the Internet did not exist. Neither did mobile phones for that matter.
I remember black and white TV in my early childhood.
The Internet has opened a new world but in my opinion, there is the good and the bad.
Children are more exposed now than ever before to the negative that social networking sites and the harm they can do when it comes to bullying. This is a very important issue which should be controlled by parents and gpvernment bodies and taken seriously.
Yes, children will lie about their age and many other things to join facebook and other networking sites but they shouldn't be able to until they reach a certain legal age.
Some people have strong characters and simply ignore nasty comments and can handle them. Other people are not so strong and this makes the vulnerable.
There are a lot of scammers and wicked people that will not stop at anything to deceive honest people on dating sites or simply steal personal information to put to bad use.
There is no point in pretending the Internet is all good because we are all intelligent enough to see what is good and what is not.
I hope you enjoy my poem.

The pear vs the fashion estate

which brings us to the case of
the pear vs the fashion estate
a fruit unfairly marginalized
by a corruptible culture
wielding the maxim
of busty top and
narrow waist

this then in praise
of your resolute resistance
my little friend
you have not yielded
as the celery capitulated
and the rhubarb crumbled
bulbous to the end
shout it loud from the fruit bowls
you can take our trees
but you will never take our freedom!

Help Us Save Charlie Gard - It's going to be Hard!

I've been following the story about Charlie Gard
It caught me off guard
It's so heartbreaking that his own parents have no say
They have been outnumbered by the judges and courts and all we can do is pray
Has the U.K. become third world?
Or have the doctors and judges vision become blurred
Dedicated doctors save lives
Good Judges are fair and wise
By removing Charlie's life support that constitutes murder for this baby boy
We are talking about taking a human life, not playing with a toy
The saddest thing of all is that people in power have lost their way
They have forgotten that they too, are not here to stay
If we do not join forces to stop this madness, baby Charlie will die
Please sign Charlie's petition, let's all give it a try.

Letter to the world

Even in 2013 we play games to annihilate and incarcerate,
With no change to the order of society's ability to discriminate.
All of us have differences with not two of being the same,
Yet rather than learn from one another we continue to walk with shame.
For over centuries and decades we continue to destroy each other,
As opposed to us taking a seat next to someone to learn from another.
When do we wake up and realize that we aren't doing something right,
Why do we blindly pass on even as we approach the holy light.
We are all brothers and sisters no matter our religion or color,
Created in the image of a spirit to support ones who feel smaller.
Decide for yourself and ask why things are the way they are,
Be the voice of light and be the change with unity as the star.

About this poem:
My resolution has been to keep the faith in 2013 because in a time in which all seems lost and our struggles are greatly increased we can be the change. We can ask ourselves why we continue to segregate ourselves just because we're different. Life is far to short to spend it hating on others for reasons out of your control. Look at others as brothers and sisters who are here to teach us view without bias and without judgement. For every life there is a soul in search of knowledge lets not walk with blinders.I love you all and hope through our differences we can learn to find ourselves in a truly United Space

A Fale Reality

rld continues its merry way
On second thoughts it is not so merry
Imprisoned in this Hologram so blithe
All is in order or so it seems
But the order is not our making
Helpless in ignorance sleeeping
Like lambs gamboling in spring
We rejoice in innocent games
And in the end we die as slaves.
But hail to the heroes who die
Defending us from each other.

The time is nigh for change
Sacrifices have been made
By those you will never know
and still being made
Some of us have been drafted
As terran components required.

The world continues the charade
So play the game my friends
It is not forever

Let it Be

There are no words to describe
The sacrifices made for you
The Earth Logos for eons of time
Those from outside sacrifice bliss
So that you may live another day
There are things ongoing
Stabilising the tectonic plates
Limiting storms and earthquakes
All in sacrifice by the few
The truth is known and spread
But is seldom heeded in dread
It is hard because it is strange
The majority is enslaved
In dogmas and lies
Great power is for asking
If you know how to ask
The power is not wasted
It will be used in full
Taking longer,much longer
That is the pity of it all
Let it be sooner.
