World At War Within

The sickness lies inside
Eating as it hides
Until I come undone
And only It presides

Changes never known
Slowly start to bleed
I scream into silence
As your foolish' breed

Twisted tails spun from Desecration
We're losing our nation
For ignorance has taken it's toll

We try to deny it
By lying about it
Power is as precious as gold

The wheels keep on turning
The coal keeps on burning
Yet no one is learning
To read between the lines

The nation is 'perfect'
But no one could expect
The treachery to which we're confined

Enormous contingencies
Lies made from companies
Consumers stay diseased
By the amusement of their brainwashing

By casual choice
We make rejoice
In the obesity of our children

While others still cry
As they watch others die
From illness and starvation.

The Eagle Will Fly

The Eagle Will Fly

Growing up since I was a young boy my Grandpa said to me,
To live my life with honor and always have integrity,
Cause one day a call may come for me to join the fight,
To defend our Constitution, for me to keep that well in sight,

They say our Constitution is outdated and so old,
All around this here nation, that’s the stories being told,
If my Grandpa was here today, he would laugh, and say that’s just all lies,
He would tell me to look at him, to look him in the eyes,

He would say to me, my boy, there’s a story I must tell,
World War Two is where I stood my ground, where others died and fell,
There was only one reason, why I would want to stand and fight,
to defend my countries honor till the dawn’s early light,

To defend the people of this land of their God given rights,
To stop the evil fiends that has power in their sights,
Don’t worry what people say to you, and the lies they have bought,
You will be honored in the end, after the good fight will be fought,

I sit here and ponder these words I believe he would have said to me,
He would be proud I lived my life with honor and integrity,
I’ll keep on talking about what people cannot see,
Even, if they keep saying its crazy and all a conspiracy.

What will it take for everyone to finally come together?
Will it take their eyes to watch that single falling feather?
That feather belongs to a symbol that represents us all,
Wondering what that feather means it’s the beginning of the call,

That symbol is perched watching silent and patiently,
Staring down at the power being wielded with impunity,
Waiting for that little spark, when everyone starts asking why?
We will start our fight for FREEDOM, when the Eagle begins to fly….

Bye Bye Bernie

Bye bye Bernie
Bye bye happiness
Hello lonliness
I feel I'm gonna cry
With all our hope goodbye
There goes my health care
There goes my free college tuition
There goes my 15 dollars an hour
There goes my voice
It will be replaced by a laughing witch and a rapist
Bye bye Bernie
Bye bye happiness
Hello lonliness
I think I'm gonna cry
With all my hope goodbye
And here's the reason I'm not free
Those bought off politicians stole it all from me

About this poem:
A parody of the Everly Brothers Bye Bye Love. Hillary seems to have it in the bag and Trump seems to be there to help her.

T'was the Day After Christmas

T’was the day after Christmas, and through every state,
All the sheeple were stirring, and in heated debate.
Their words were scary, as they said “WE ARE RIGHT!”
And the Patriots just stared in God-awful fright,

The sheeple were all happy with their government meds,
While Obama the savior danced all around in their heads.
With Patriots planning what’s our next move,
Eureka! “It’s the President we must remove!”

On the Whitehouse lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to the TV to see what was the matter.
I grabbed the remote in such a flash,
I fell over the chair and landed with a crash,

The sun was high over the Whitehouse on the TV screen,
Gave the image of that building a weird eerie glean,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
The Patriots showed up and their message was clear

With their signs held high, with their guns in view,
I knew in that moment as the masses grew.
More and more they were coming in for the kill,
As they screamed, “You will never, break our will!”

"Now Patriots! Come one, Come all!”
“Lets stand together, strong and tall”
To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
No surrender! No retreat! We will never fall!"

Americans marched with one goal, one mission,
Obstacles were dealt with prideful tradition,
So up to the Whitehouse the masses they flew,
Hearts full of fury, the Secret Service with no clue.

And then with a blink , a commercial or two,
Something happened, but hey we already knew.
As they smashed through the door, and looked all around,
Through the halls and rooms not even a sound.

As word spread of what was found,
It got all quiet there was nothing , no sound,
And a voice rang out from way in the back,
As the patriots gathered and waited for the attack

The words were clear, strong and true,
“Hey, everyone just between me and you,
It was in his mind this country was his kingdom,
That little man thought he could steal our freedom!”

With a roar of victory, all the patriots cheered,
Really, is this the clown we all feared?
From his evil grin to his floppy ears,
This story will be told for years and years.

With the flag in our left hand, the Constitution in our right,
We raise them in unison, held high with our all might,
Our fore-fathers would be proud for what we have done,
As Americans held strong and stood as one.

This is a story is one that might become,
One of many, can be a final outcome,
Every patriot always keep one thing in sight,
“FREEDOM” TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!

The Tale of the Old Man (Part V)

A family we were contented with life
Enjoying life day by day
Beautiful wife and beautiful kids
I had all a man could need

Was in fifty nine that Billy Graham
And his circus came to town
We thought we'd go to watch the show
To see this evangelist

People came from all around
To hear the word of God
Never before had I seen such crowds
They were packed in that day

He spoke bout sin, forgiveness too
And Jesus' love for all
So many tears, a river cried
And souls were pledged to God

Yes Mary and I we too did cry
Our lives were turned around
Our hearts we pledged to give to God
Not once did we turn back

Now we had an inner peace
That money cannot buy
No matter what life might bring
Jesus was by our side

News reports astonished were
The changes Jesus made
Half the crime had dissapeared
And crims to mend their ways

The years rolled on as time will do
And different things happened
None that spring to mind right now
As being of great importance

We lived our life quietly
And quietly we prospered
Children grow much too fast
Ours were six and eight

I remember very well
The first day of school
Mary cried to see them go
And yes, I did too

The days seemed much quieter
With no children underfoot
We missed the fun we used to have
With the children in their play

Vietnam had so much unrest
Yet no-one hardly noticed
When the call went out for our youth
They simply were conscripted

Woe to those who's birthday fell
Within the days noted
A lottery was all it was
And the winners were the losers

And sure enough in sixty six
These boys were sent to Nam
To fight a war no-one could win
To die in foreign soil

So many people against this war
Protesting everywhere
Police were called to break them up
But the message still went on

Sixty six was the year
We changed to decimal coinage
Pounds, shillings and pence
Replaced by dollars and cents

What a headache that was
Everything to change
Took us ages to train the staff
And customers made mistakes

Things settled down and we carried on
As life is wont to do
We lived a life quite comfortable
In our pub at Ultimo

The Block

Was me and you since the 8th grade,
I depended on you cuz you kept me paid.
You were there all the time never had to search for ya,
Whether day or night I always had a purpose for ya.
Got me outta trouble cuz you knew where to hide me,
When them people would raid I'd just toss it outside.
Never found it but if they did it wasn't mines,
No prints no possession no time
At least that's how it was now-a-days blood and cuzz talking to the fuzz.
So I had to leave before fake ballers incarcerated me,
Hung me out to dry or put an "X" up on a "G".
You'll always be there just to many dudes using you,
Abusing you right now for me to be seen here. Free Buck

Grace...

‘...disposition to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency...’

Only a fool thinks he/she can grant kindness, or clemency to anyone, but, courtesy, yes, that we can give away all day every day!

To defer to her when you don’t have to,
To not turn your countenance away from her in her time of need, even though you want to be alone,
To smile with her, when you’d rather embrace self-pity,
To be a receiver of her Being,
To embrace her ‘boredom’ when you’d rather be embracing your sense of adventure by sneaking up on a lion in the bush, for example,
To laugh at her pitiful ‘jokes’, instead of snarling,
To caress her when you’re so doggone tired,
To listen to her, I mean really listen, when you’d rather be downing a scotch to drown your stress,
To sink deeply into her eyes when you’d rather be sinking deeply into your favourite TV show,
To agree to take a walk with her when you’d rather take a nap,
To appreciate her world when, frankly you just want to totally escape from the world,
To be with her, I mean really be with her, with all your presence, with all your alertness, with all your peace when, frankly, you’re asking yourself:- ‘isn’t it my time yet, I’m so tired of it all...?’
To give her a truly grateful smile for putting up with you, when frankly, you would not give yourself the time of day...

Grace..., it’s such a wonderful concept...

Evolution

Kindness
In the afternoon
Speaks to my lonely soul
Breadcrumbs in the park
Scattered after dark
Hunger beyond control

Blindness
Floating on the wing
Falling from a high perch
Clutching in my claws
Incoherent of my flaws
Craving all I smirch

Goodness
Searching over me
Coming and going
Never lasting long
Like a bird’s song
Hidden in a tree

Wiseness
Gaining over time
Taking and giving
Spoken words of truth
Even the most uncouth
Hearing the bells chime

Soundness
Challenging my mind
Rising and falling
Testing it for faults
Bending somersaults
Becoming so defined

Greatness
When the time comes
Growing and shrinking
Like cloudy shadows
Coming through windows
Sounds of beating drums

Greece

It happend
there
one mans view
a little freedom
so we could
choose
it happend
there
when the children
broke
the ones
who held the guns
it happend
there
when modern freedom
nearly begun
to bring our loved ones
into the sun
it happend
there
when we told our children
it has finally begun
a little freedom
under the sun
