blasted beautiful
crawling out
from a deep
dark forest
haunting eyes
burning hell's fire
a growling panther
sweetly in pain
breathing steam emotion
clawing feelings
upon the tree
of life
reaching out
of a smokey haze
alighting flames
flickering embers

Little Red and Her Wolf
Somber eyes full of tears
little red was lost
far worse than she feared
she had blissfully traversed the path of love
now she was trapped, without a beloved
she believed the lies meant to trick poor red
for she'd followed her heart, and not her head
Little red wept alone in the forest that night
praying a prince would save her from her plight
But not a single soul came, save for the owls
and all that could be heard was hungry wolf howls
Trembling in terror, eyes wide with fright
an large looming shadow walked out of the night
A enormous wolf, his pelt all jet black
came out of the shadows, and eyed his new snack
Licking his chops, his teeth showing as he grinned
Little red knew if she ran, that she could not win
She fell to her knees and abandoned all hope
while the wolf cocked his head and watched her mope
"My dear, why are you sad?" the wolf suddenly said
"I've come to help you, I don't wish you dead!"
Startled red looked up with a stare
she wanted to believe it, but did she dare?
A tall handsome man, all clad in fur
was knelt down, and offering his hand to her!
"You must be tired, here, you can ride on my back,
I will take you home, you can stay with my pack."
The handsome man turned back into his wolf form
and when red climbed on, she no longer felt forlorn
Red now had someone to love,
her knight clad in fur, sent from above
little red was lost

NO INTENTIONS
I HAD NO INTENTIONS OF FALLING IN LOVE,
I'D BEEN THERE BEFORE AND KNEW WHAT IT WAS.
ALL I WANTED WAS AN EMAIL PAL,
NOTHING SERIOUS, JUST A FRIENDLY GAL.
ONE I COULD TALK TO AND DISCUSS MY PLANS
ABOUT EVERYDAY PROBLEMS AND ITS DEMANDS.
TELLING EACH OTHER ABOUT FAMILY CONCERNS,
OR WHAT KIND OF WOOD YOUR FIREPLACE BURNS.
WHAT WAS THE MOVIE LAST NIGHT YOUR KIDS SAW,
AND HOW WAS YOUR VISIT WITH YOUR EX-MOTHER IN LAW?
THESE EVERY DAY THINGS ARE HOW WE MUST LIVE,
ABLE TO IGNORE THINGS AND LEARN TO FORGIVE.
NEVER REALIZING WHAT IS HAPPENING - EVER-SO-SLY,
BUT CERTAIN FEELINGS HAVE ME WONDERING WHY.
WHY? WHY AM I AT THE COMPUTER EXPECTING A WORD,
WANTING TO KNOW WHAT SHE HAS HEARD.
AND IF I DON'T HEAR,I START TO WORRY,
I AM SO EAGER-I WANT HER TO HURRY!
ARE THESE INDICATIIONS I'M BEGINNING TO FALL?
AS I STATED ,I HAVE NO INTENTIONS, NONE AT ALL.
I HAVE MY GUARD UP, AND I'M READY TO FIGHT,
I WON'T SUCCUMB TO THIS CREEPING PLIGHT.
THEN - THEN I LEARN SHE TOO, IS AFFECTED -
THAT, IS SOMETHING I HAD NEVER SUSPECTED !
UNTIL I RECEIVED A LETTER SAYING,"I LOVE YOU",
I AM SO RELIEVED, BECAUSE I FEEL THAT WAY TOO.

She Really Rocks
Something casual in the way she walks
Across the street stridden in slim blue jeans
With her new fry boots on she really rocks
Not that I gaze and gawk by any means
How her long brown hair flutters in the breeze
Those pretty eyes that sparkle with her smile
Making me feel all wobbly in the knees
Hiding a sly grin which doesn’t beguile
What a poor pounding heart skippin’ a beat
Perhaps not too cool as I look around
And trying my hardest to keep my feet
Rising and floating too high off the ground
For girls knowin’ natural history
Attracting a man ain’t no mystery

Love!
Love is the first rose of spring!
The breeze on a hot summer night!
The autumn golden rustic leaves of fall!
The first snowflake in the air!
Music that plays a romantic tune, one of immense pleasure and delight!
A lover’s kiss of sweetness that is true!
Someone that says they love only you!
A walk along a sea air sandy beach!
A dance of holding your sweetheart close in your arms!
A glance into dreamy eyes and falling deep within
Of whispering of love with all it’s charms!
Romantic week-end to a place called no-where!
Of caressing the softness of one’s hair!
An intimate weekend in a quiet place!
Of feeling tenderness in your first embrace!
Hiking in a pristine forest and the smell of pine!
An overlook with view divine!
Hold sharing hands and know that they belong to you!
To feel the tempest of love’s storm!
A feeling of being wanted and reborn!
To utter the words, “ I love you” and hear softly spoken, “I do too”.

Have you ever fallen in Love?the one in twilight
upon the ancient ruins
my kingdom of heaven fell
you give me grace to heal
relayed through my bible of truth
written upon this wall
my destiny speaks to you
you are the one
your picture flashed my vision
alone you appeared
a voice in a foreign land
beautiful palm trees
coconuts everwhere
in the twilight of morn you appeared
your voice breaking of day
my dream it calls out to you
in the distance our spirit meets
the angel pointed to you
dawning of heaven
only you the one know the answer
my mind speaks through my pen

Feeling the soul
Nothing seems real
Touching softest colours
Your lips speaking
Into the ears
they whisper softly,
my fantasy with words
Falling upon the heart
A wonderful feeling
The lips kiss my soul
Surrounded in beautiful light
Polaroid with colours
A rainbow halo
Radiating from
the deepest chambers
Like a dance fluttering
In the breeze
Sailing in your direction
Every breath blows
My soul closer,

Divine the shadows
Creeping over the soul,
holding you deep within,
caressing it through
my mind
In the spirit of light
My heart's keeper,
overflows with emotion
Warm in delight,
the sun draws
upon a golden smile,
wings of an eagle
the spirit flies
Sweeping across the very earth
A shadow like a blanket,
my soul sings out to beauty
In my shadow
I surround you
Cotton soft
Like silver clouds,
to love forever
One heart is born
The eyes whisper quietly
Sparkling emotion ,
like a flower on my chest,
opens slowly
With the key
In my soul
Beautiful insight reflection
Deep within one's mind
Love of you
The heart unfolds
To the next chapter
Wings closing
around you embracing
Forever to hold
Looking directly
You are beautiful
In my eyes
Creeping over the soul,
