Dare I

In the darkness of night my mind starts to wander
Bringing magical moments of thought
Of what might be if I let my heart go freely
But, dare I?

With phone held in my hand and number ready
A brief moment of conversation with you
Would surely bring you to my embrace
But, dare I?

To let you into my life and see my true inner being
Told hold your love to my chest, each beat
Pulling me closer to you and me – as one
But, dare I?

You bring me to my knees with one smile
Melting the walls built to keep safe my heart
Almost begging, you ask me to let the guard down
But, dare I?

I reach out and take your hand in mine
Fall deeply into the depths of sincere eyes
Smile at the reflection of love shining back to me
I dare.

my goddess

i am your centaur
in bended knees before you i fall
your beast of burden
carring your heavy load
like a sacrifical lamb
i kneel before your altar
on mount olympus
to you my goddess i love
i lay myself bare
nike the winged goddess
the goddess of victory
you conquered my heart
to go on with you forever more
my love for you played
on the strings of a golden harp
far away in a distant time
as the water falls
from the fountain of life
pure with the love of you
my forever beautiful goddess
love conquers all

Dare I !

Dare I!

Dare I Tell you that I love you, that I really care!

Give to you this overflowing love of mine, excitingly to share!

Dare I listen to the music of your heart beat,
will it be forever mine!

Will you be my true love, to be my life’s Valentine!

If I fall madly, so in love with you!

Will you always want me and will our lonely hearts no longer beat as two!

Will you fall in love with me, like rustic Autumn leaves falling softly upon the ground!

Dare I tell you, that I love you, that no truer love could ever be found!

I Dare ……

You are beautiful

I like it when you ajust my tie
before we go out to dinner..
When your soft hands pluck
that little piece of lint from my
sports jacket..
When your eyes tell me that you
are for me..
I like that when our eyes lock from
accross a crowded room your subtle
smile can reassure me that my woman
can heal any doubt's reflected in my
green eyes..
You are beautiful..
The ballroom dance floor shimmered
like colourful glass and I smiled as
I watched you dance with other fellows..
But the band struck that familiar note..
It was our favorite slow dance song..
Everyone at the ball watched as you graciously
set your wine glass on the candlelit table..
'Who was she about to dance with was written
on their faces as just the two of us met at the
center of the dance floor?'
The music began and your hands cupped the
back of my head in adoration..
Your firm body pressed into me in a soulful
melting..
There were whispers among the
crowd..
They knew now that you
were taken..
They knew they were witnessing
an unbroken bond of unspeakable
passion and devotion..
It could be argued that there were
more beautiful women in attendance
But none..more beautiful than you-

Dancing!

Dancing

Women are such evasive creatures

For if you try and tempt them, they say no

But ask them to go dancing and away you go!

I would like to tell you what they do

You’re old enough to hear, they are after you!

They let you chase them, they are the bait,

Till they fish and hook you as their mate!

They are spiders spinning webs in the sky

That is until they catch you, then, they’ve got their guy!

In a dancing room, You ask them if they wish to dance and Zoom!

Into your arms they quickly swoon!

Tis magic, that is what it is

He thought it was his idea to dance, but actually it wasn’t his!

You open dancing arms and they crawl in

They know they’ve caught you with a smiling grin!

To them dancing is their forte’

It starts with being in your arms both night and day!

They nestle in your arms as you both dance

They rub against you, you think you have a chance!

She dances with you cheek to cheek,

She wears a low cut evening dancing gown for you to take a peek!

You worry that she will catch you staring there

But it’s her plan, oh please beware!

You kiss her softly on the neck and sing music in her ears

Hold on to her, before that man cuts in and she disappears

As you dance, she softly dips with you,

It’s like heaven, made for only two!

She presses close against your chest,

You feel an erect nipple of her breast!

She dips again and brushes you,

She felt your manhood pressing too!

The dancing music pauses and in the garden
You both go

She leads you down the garden path, realizing that you don’t know!

You sit upon the garden seat

Passionate kisses you give her, for a treat!

The music plays, the dance starts once again

She says she must go, I see a friend!

For her the dancing night is not through

For there are more dancing men for her to know!

She’s still tossing dice should she take you
or with them surely go!

While she’s dancing, let me introduce you to my sister Mary

She’s wondering if you would care to dance?

Dance with her, but beware

She’s a conniving woman too, please take care!

The woman who didn't get got

She was more sexy than her coworkers
Oh yes! By far
She would blaze through the streets
In her fancy sports car
All the men at the pub would push
and strain
They drooled over hebeauty's's as though
they were insane
No woman could match her
No wit could catch her
But there was a catch to her story
It may sound a bit gory
But upon talking to this beauty which
every man felt his duty
She spoke to them as dirt as she swished
her satin skirt
Every man was offended and their affections
they recinded
They left her where she stood
She wasen't the dish to take home to mom
She was mean and nasty and left home at
the prom
All her beauty turned into a ball of snot...
This is the tale of the girl who didn't get got--

precious

between shells
in an oyster
hidden from the world
held firmly
i left
a teardrop

buried in the ocean
of heartbreaks
caressed by the rain
falling in memory off
a lost treasure

a cold lonely stare
looks for direction
held in the shell
of my heart
inlaid
to rest
mother of pearl

holding you so deep
in darkened skies
who brought the thunder
in roaring aches
lightning strikes
falling in pain

in a sun kissed mist
a treasured rainbow
looking at the pot of gold
i open the treasure chest
one more time

i open the shell
leaving the teardrop
upon your pillow
happy to love
dreaming forever
in you
a treasure

Mirror within

my dearest
i set sail
to you
floating a dream
calling out destination
blowing gently
on seashell horn
sweetest love

honey sweet mead
nectar of the gods
upon your face
shines golden
beautiful

a soft shining soul
gentle in happiness
two becoming one
holding one's eyes
in a blink
mirrors
the soul

lighting up
the darkest night
in warmth within
like parting waves
hair falls down
over your face

the sun beams
a smile
in token
for you a gift

clouds turn pink
blushing red
scarlet emotions blue
leaving one feeling
in a dream

a picture
beautiful gallery
hangs in the mind
one picture perfect
drawn out
from deep within
it's you

The Silent Dance

Bathing in the moonlight's glow
Danced a maiden, soft and slow.
Tender notes, none else could hear
Seemed to reach the maiden's ear.

A gentle smile upon her lips
She stroked the air with fingertips.
What made her dance, what made her smile?
What made the moonlight worth her while?

The answer only she did know
In the moonlight's softened glow.
And with her the answer stays
While she gently moves and sways...

smouldering fire

The wind strokes my face
Ablaze in dreams passion
Love my tender light
Flickering shadows of beauty
In the ashes the embers speaking

The dark side of our makeup
Broken wings of love's despair
Smoldering embers
Love's light shines
My emotion this fire burns

Burning desire
In the shadows speak
Deep within my soul
My spirit soars in it's heaven
To relight my fire

Ablaze a towering inferno
Love a true desire
Dreaming in it's warmth
Embers of beauty
Who relights my
