Prison Life

Here there is no privacy
Here there is no safety
Here there is pain
Here there is fear
The Noise, The Noise, the Noise!
Clang, Clang!
Bang! Bang!
Shouting and Shouting
Frustration
My head is on fire with rage
My body is on fire with discomfort
I feel it in my feet
I feel it in my hands
My eyes seeing the evil
My soul feeling like it's rotting inside of me
Yeah
It really feels like a prison at work

Forever loving

Sounds of a great mountain roar
trembling echoes
a shaking voice,
flooding down the face
a river of tears
inside each drop
treasured sparkling crystals
pearl jewels weep.

Brings new life
honey as joy sweetly blushing
desires your beauty ,
Crowned queen of the flies bouquet colors,
a butterfly dances floats upon a sun lighting rays,
touching inside with warm wings
sweeping an angel.

Sweet gently skipping desire
hot pulse beats star lighting passion
glows behind the jewels,
baby you shine beautifully bright
when the thunder roars
beast of reality natures lion.

Loves arrow strikes
deeply blushing red
under a pink moon ,
sweetly embracing together
kissing forever spirit of the night
sparkling always uniting under your love,
when our dream becomes true
into eternity hand in hand
one masterpiece
walking to paradise
adoring the picture within you.

Music

I love all kinds of music
It has helped me through the years
getting me through some hard times
and has cleared away my tears
from classical to heavy metal
I have time for all
for when you pump it loud enough
you can really have a ball
Music has done so much for me
through sickness or when alone
I pretend that sometimes i'm the one
thats singing on the microphone
or maybe a little air guitar never goes astray
the reason I said air guitar
you wouldn't pay to hear me play
So i will leave it to the professionals
for I think it's best for all
I am better at being D.J.
to get the people on the floor

PEACE WHERE ART THOU?

"peace! WHERE ART THOU?" I SCREAMED.
Peace said "Here I am, on the other side of hurt."
"What are you doing so far away?"
"How long the journey depends on you."
I am but a beacon of the troubled mind,
The white lining on the stony ridge of chaos,
Beckoning the soul to seek itself.
I am a gift you must seek me out.
But the mote is the hurdle you must leap.
So get jumping!"
"And so, getting through the mire of loss gives
You the practice of acquiring peace?"
"Yes, tap your Spirit to sustain,
Until the journey ends.
And loss and hurt fold into Peace."

Frozen

I saw this movie
Its name was Frozen
It really scared me you see
It is about the job I work
The worst thing you could do
Is leave someone up on the chairlift after you close
I think that it is a slacker job
Unless you work at the bottom
Those guys really earn their pay
I sit at the top and eat junk food all day
We get free pop, free cocoa too
I make 8.25 an hour
7.20 an hour after taxes
I spend 9 bucks in gas to get there
70 miles of driving that takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes
This is the best part of this job
I love to listen to music
Lady Gaga, 80's music, Black Eyed Peas
Did you see them on the SuperBowl?
So if you want to see a good movie to scare you good
See Frozen
Then go skiing right afterward!

Women and Minorities at My Work Place

The first woman was hired in 1993
Out of 405 employees
72 are women
Minorities make up 28 employees
The work place certainly has changed
My first long job was at Hardee's
I had two minorities in the four years I worked there
One a beautiful Japanese American woman
One an African American man
I still remember Shannon from Hardee's
I am using the golf balls she gave me in 1991
Lost five so far out of 12
Women used to get to stay at home
When the dollar was strong
One job was enough to pay the bills
You didn't have cable
You didn't pay for a cell phone or internet
And taxes were a lot less
Are women and minorities getting a fair shake at work?
No!
We have a long way to go to truly get fair treatment for all workers
I do appreciate any of the workers who have reached out to me
Who have been nice to me
Weather they be woman, minority, or whatever
Thank you!

Goodbye Coworker

Bob had to leave
It wasn't his choice
He had to because the management didn't like him
He knew his job
He showed up every day
He was fun to work with
But they said he was over on his hours by three hours
Why do the good workers get trashed
And the bad workers stay forever
I've seen it too many times that it makes you wonder
Why does it seem that the bad people prosper
Is it some kind of sick joke?
I will miss Bob
I'll miss his jokes
I'll miss his company
I'll have to go on work Monday without him
Work has always sucked
Maybe it's because people like Bob find some way of dissappearing

About this poem:
I'm happy for Bob because he doesn't have to endure that place any more. I guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself because once again I've lost a good coworker.

grannies house

granny is sitting in her old rocking chair
the coal fire simmering bright ,puffs of smoke rising up the chimmney
granny sits in her rocking chair
in her granny slippers warming her self by the coal fires light

dark is the room the silences the cold dampness of the chill from the world out side
the black and white tv switched on with its lighted screen white and hissing to be played again

the old cukoo clock on the wall chimes
the passing hours on the hour every hour
breaking the silence all around
granny sits in the darkness rocking to and throw in her favorite
chair

sitting silent not knowing who is there
the poorly dim lite room its darkend old fashiond wall paper falling the decay lying around what a pitfull site to be hold ,the knocking on the windows from outside children playing knock knock
oh what a nouisence they are

granny iqnores them hoping they will go away
thinking of her childhood her youth snathced away, her youth gone for ever, just taken away ,locked in her old age only with
her memories locked inside her mind so no one can see
for shes the only one with the key
