'Whisper Man'

'Whisper Man'

Hello, you whisper in my ear
Come to me Darling,i am over here
Where are you when i need you
I am always very near
No need to say you are Sorry
For it was not your fault
You are such a Gentle Giant
A Caring man at that
You bring the light in through my Window
The Sun to my Soul
The Laughfter to my mouth
You are such a gentle Soul
Hello,You Whisper in my ear
I wish we were on a Desert Island
Where no one else could go
Just the two of us together
Touching each other slow
I know i can't be with you at the moment
You are far away form me now
Accross the sunny Ocean
Amoung the Mountains High
I will never say Goodbye
Because i will only Cry
You are such a sentitive man
God could only Give you that
Hello,You Whisper in my ear
Come to me Darling
Hold my hand like that
I Love your warm Touch
Your Pale Face against my Chest
Wrap yourself around me
So i can feel your Bodies Warmth
Now i am going to Whisper
Goodnight my Friend,Goodnight.

"My, Oh My!"

The day has been long but my objectives were all met,
the grapes were all planted, and a new gate got set.
The grass was mowed nicely, the trimming got done,
the moss killer and fertilizer were applied on the run.

This rain, it's been relentless, falling now for weeks,
some say: "cats and dogs", I say: "streams and creeks".
Tis been said this rain's a needed, to satisfy a drought,
a statement that I can question with unbelieving doubt.

Out in many green pastures where only horses did run,
Geese and Mallard ducks now prepare to hatch their young.
This Spring, it's been a doozy, a real drencher that's for sure,
it's been more of a lasting Winter in want of a raining cure.

Still, though wet, I try my best to squeeze in as much as I can,
I've learned that one can't really rely upon any weatherman.
He says: "Blue skies accented with an occasional passing cloud",
So I load my tools and still end up as one of a rain soaked crowd.

If and when a real Springtime decides to come dropping in,
warmth of sun and view of flowers will produce a healthy grin.
My face like that of many others will shine with pure delight,
to see the sights of a rainless day that lasts all thru the night.

Before we know it, Summer's here, temps all hot and steamy,
cooling rain from weeks before will then seem rather dreamy.
One thing remains the same no matter what the weather does,
my load of work will still be there to be done like a bee abuzz.

Come rain or shine, I'll do my best to answer every one's call,
to improve their yards by giving them a landscaper's overhaul.
When the day ends, whether I'm left as one soaking wet or dry,
I'm blessed to hear each paying client whispering "My, Oh My!"

TRY, TRY, TRY, AGAIN! TO EARN SUCCESS.

ARE YOU TREKING DOWN A ROAD WITH NO END IN SIGHT?
TRY, TRY, TRY, AGAIN!
DOES THE TIME SEEM TO TICK AGAINST YOU?
THAT YOU ONLY WISH THAT THE CLOCK CAN PAUSE FOR A MOMENT, THAT YOU MAY HEAVE A SIGH OF RELIEVE ?
TRY, TRY, TRY, TO KEEP THE BALL ROLLING AGAIN!
DO YOUR CHALLENGES WEIGH YOU DOWN?
TRY,TRY, TRY USING THE COURAGE OF A WOUNDED LION TO PUT UP A GOOD FIGHT!
ARE YOU ENTANGLED WITH THE TWIST AND TURNS OF LIFE AS THOUGH YOUR BREATH FADES AWAY?
THEN KNOW, THAT THE GLORIOUS MOMENT OF SUCCESS HAS COME, SO CLOSE, AS AIR TO YOUR NOSTRILS,
PATIENTLY CALLING !
FEEL IT, CRAB IT, USE IT

dreaming of what we never get..

I saw a kid standing in the dark of night
He may be at the age of 4 or 5
He was at the court yard holding
A big bowl, filled with water
And he stated to laugh and laugh
B cuz he saw the full moon reflects in that bowl
He thought, he got that moon in his hand
And he was happy, very happy, as ever seen.

Depressed Factory Worker

Every day I go to work it gets worse
Always worse
The boss yells at me
I ask why do you yell at me
He says because I like to yell
I work on factory next to criminals
One is on work release for driving drunk
One is on work release for selling crack
One is on work release for selling pot
I do have women working there
One knocked out my coworker for grabbing her
So he wakes up and she quits
Another one look like vampire who wants to bite me on the neck
My boss looks like Saddam Hussain
Did he shave off his mustache and go on Jenny Craig?
The heat and the stress are unbelievable
One guy fell down on the ground from heart attack
Another guy committed suicide
Two other guys died in auto wreck after working seven days a week
For months on end
I ask my coworker who was in Iraq if this place is better
He says to me
I would rather be in Iraq than be here
It is less stressful

About this poem:
Believe it or not, this is actually true. These things did actually happen at a job I had back in 2007-2008. I did get some nice golf balls and an unbrella though.

The Internet is Down

The internet seems to have gone away
The smoke is gone and the mirrors are broke
Looks like it’s going to be one of those days
Our system is kind of a joke

It was working today for an hour or three
When a student came asking for help with his work
I tried to download the file (it’s free)
But I couldn’t, and felt like a jerk

The network admin isn’t answering his calls
He is probably tearing his hair out by now
I don’t think I want to see him at all
He’s probably having a cow

The people are starting to rise up in arms
They’ve called for his head in a sack
I don’t think they really would do him harm
But I hope someone’s watching his back

The day is all sunny, the sky is quite blue
A gorgeous autumn day
I hope that he knows what he needs to do
And gets it all done right away

I Got Off Work Early

I got off work early
It was such a nice early Christmas present
45 minutes to myself
Where I won't have to work like an elf
I sang We Are Young by Fun three times in my car
I drank two Mt. Dews cause 21.5 miles is far
When you don't have your sleep
You spend most of the day at work trying not to weep
I played on the computer because I could
I listened to a Republican speech by Clint Eastwood
I listened to Will Ferrell getting yelled at by a little girl
She wanted her rent
Will hadn't put money away like nuts to a squirrel
Money is nice
But is has it's price
You can spend your time making money
Or spend your money making time
In the end it isn't worth the dime
Give me my day off so I can rest
This place feels like a hornet's nest
And I'm tired of getting stung

Weeping Ageless

Weeping ageless
on the moonlit street,
grabbed by branches
a bare winter's feast,
ice stiff birches
exploding upwardly!
