The Midnight Wraith Of My Dreamscape

The Midnight Wraith Of My Dreamscape

Dawn comes and the darkness fades
It's light trickles through the shades
Flesh to flesh time erodes way
To await the night when she comes to stay
Time to rise as I shudder and quake
I curse the dawn for now I'm awake

It's midnight and again I begin my wait
For the arrival of my nocturnal date
As she appears and I'm greatly relieved
And when she goes I'm left bereaved
Only in long flowing locks she's cloaked
So lovely and sexy that in sweat I'm soaked

Onto my bed she glides ready to be kissed
I was enchanted and powerless to resist
Knowing that soon comes that sweetest release
And only then shall my soul find it's peace
Hours passed but the passion still remains
Flesh to flesh hot blood coursing in our veins

Why? When I know you shall only cause me pain
She whispers “ Don't ask me what I can't explain.”
Farewell my love she sighed as again comes the dawn
“Not yet!” I plead, don't leave me love's lowly pawn
I must depart now and allow you to find some rest
“My heart's not mine, it's yours” comes my dire protest

She's silent, no response comes from her lips
I wait in silence watching her take her morning trips
Destiny stops a final embrace and wouldn't permit a kiss
For the dream ends so swiftly I'm left feeling the remiss
Again stolen my love has the dawn I violently cuss
And so each morning departs my lovely succubus

So quickly she vanishes that I abruptly awoke
Gathering the pieces of my shattered heart she broke
Left all alone with the memories of our times
So now you've heard my strange tale in my rhymes
And I spend another morning as a rain of tears escape
Aching and missing The Midnight Wraith of my Dreamscape

The Indian Princess

The Indian Princess

Along the mountain path the Indian princess walks

Watched by rabbits, foxes, as high above an Eagle squawks

In the valley below is her village peaceful, quiet, and serene

She climbs the narrow path where all is alive and green

Knowing spirits protect her walking with her spirit guide

Following the trail leading her higher up the mountain side

Gathering plants, roots, and berries for the winters coming cold

Singing ancient songs of warriors going forth brave and bold

She rests under a tree by a brook sunlight streaks everywhere

Dipping her feet in the water as the wildlife stops to stare

Rabbits, foxes, deer, mountain goats watch without a sound

Never fearing the Indian maiden resting quietly on the ground

The willow she's under is loosing it leaves with winter coning on

In the Indian way is one with nature feeling summer is now gone

As all around her falls colors abound marveling at their hue

While Mother Earth makes her changes for winter's coming anew

As high above the geese are honking flying in their perfect V

She breathes the wild flower scents taking in all thats there to see

Soon sleep overtakes the Princess and she naps beside the stream

Illusions of love with her warrior come to her in a pleasant dream

Under a starry sky they're entwined fulfilling their every need

Making sweet love with the brave she's to marry keeping tribal creed

Song birds land in the limbs above cackling and singing overhead

Startling her from her dream running the visions from her head

Her spirit high she rises and begins her trek back down to her band

With a big basket of nuts, plants, roots, and berries in her hand

Alone her way she dreams of her tomorrows on other Autumn days

And of all those nights with her young brave while new love plays

As darkness falls and moonlight gathers her family gathers around

Making their beds of fresh green bows they've spread upon the ground

And wrapped in warm buffalo robes under the plains starry skies

The Princess and her family in their teepee shall again close their eyes

Legend of Mara (Part LI)

They talked for hours about what had happened. When Gresunda was swept under the waves the current pushed her into a cave in the cliffs. There was an airspace further in where she lay exhausted for hours on the rocks. When the sea calmed and tide receded there was just the hint of an opening from the inside where the light shone in. It was then she could swim back out to safety.

Not finding Volker she thought that he had died trying to rescue her. He had already left Hamburg for the forest not even speaking to anyone. He had trudged up into the forest wrapped so heavily in his misery and despair that he was oblivious to anything around him. None of the villagers had seen him go so they accepted the belief that Volker had died.

There had been rumours over the years of a beast like a man living in the forest but they were always dismissed as just being urban legends to frighten children. No-one had ever made the connection, and why would they, that it was Volker living there.

It seemed that years had dropped off Gresunda’s age. She gave the impression that she stood taller and had regained some energy. She took him by the hand to lead him around. Those older folk who remembered Volker were amazed, it was like seeing a person resurrected from the dead. There was much joy and tears of happiness. Those who were too young to know him marvelled at the tale told.

Eventually Volker told of how he came to be here and what he witnessed back at Hamburg. When he finished his story everyone realised how blessed they were to be here alive. It was their turn to tell Volker of how they came to be here. There were so many trying to talk that Mara had to intervene and appoint one person to tell the tale.

When the story was finished they realised that had it not been for God’s gift they would not be alive today. It was decided almost unanimously to pray and give thanks to God. They prayed for quite a while, each joining in and giving their own personal thanks. Many a person had tears sitting in their eyes. Slowly the sun sank and it was the time to retire for the night. Today had been a day of miracles.

Legend of Mara (Epilogue)

Epilogue

God was true to his word. God is always true to his word it is only that sometimes people do not realise this. The settlement called Hahndorf thrived under the leadership of Mara and Hulderic. They planted the vines that God had given them and these vines flourished. Their fruit was ripe and juicy and using the techniques that were taught to them produced many varieties of wines. They used the names given to them by God. Names such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Tokay, Muscat and even Sherry and Port. Everyone liked the new drinks and enthusiastically accepted them. But it seemed they were producing them faster than could be drunk and the warehouses were filling up.

The area was so fertile that Hahndorf rapidly grew and in the matter of a few short years there was a bustling village established. Houses they built out of stone which was in plentiful supply. There was no comparing the ramshackle village of Hamburg to the bustling town of Hahndorf. They even laid stones to form streets between the houses so that no-one need walk in mud.

It must have been about the fifth year since arriving that a group of explorers walked out of the woods into the town. It was rather comical to see their expressions when they realised there was a complete town here. Apparently these people had only just landed on this continent this past year and found it inhabited only by black savages. No way could they imagine that a complete town existed here. They were made welcome and food and drink was traded.

These explorers returned to the coast and set up a settlement and many others followed. This settlement was called Adelaide. Trade routes were established and what Hahndorf produced was avidly sought after. They produced various cold meats, cheeses, Biers and of course the wines. These wines became so famous that they were exported all over the known world.

Volker and Gresunda still spent many years together. Even though both were of advanced age it seemed as if God had given them both some of their youth back. When the time came to pass on they both died in their sleep still wrapped in each others arms. Neither one had to endure losing the other again. It was whispered that God had taken them home together to bless them.

Mara and Hulderic had many children and grandchildren and even great grandchildren before it was their turn to return to their heavenly home. It would seem that sometimes love can last a lifetime. In the centre of Hahndorf if you go there these days you will see a giant monument to Mara and Hulderic. The fame of Hahndorf has now spread world wide and there are not many people that have not heard of it. Many tourists go there to visit and to purchase the nectar of the Gods. Although Hahndorf is famous there are not many people that know the real story of how it became established. You are now one of the rare few.

Conned by Death

In the middle of the night I was awoken
By my bed this figure dark and scary
Robes of black and with scythe in hand
I thought that surely my time had come

You're safe, he said with gravelly voice
If a favour you'll do for me tonight
Can't remember when last I had a break
A holiday is what I really need

My knees were knocking ever so loudly
A terror had come over me
If I said no, then what would happen
Something I really did not want to see

I nodded yes and as quick as a flash
Was suddenly dressed in black
I'll be back said he with a smile
Now looking ever so normal

Been doing this job for I don't know
Seems to be like centuries
Forgot to ask how long he'd be
I think death has conned me

Beware, for one of these nights
At your bed I'll be standing
And this offer I will make to you
Or else your life I'll harvest

The last man Diary

Diary: Entry #946
Year: 2025
July ,4th

I am now living in a world ruled
by woman..and have been enslaved
by them..

The whole world was destroyed by
atomic bombs in 2012 on May 12th.
As far as I know I'm the only living
man.

I managed to hide in the mountains for
5 years but a women scout party discovered
me. I wear this neck yoke and have been
kept in this bamboo cage since my capture.
They've been using me as the sole male donor
to create a new human race.
They even renamed the country..They call it
'Edenalia.'
I've heard whispers that they'll be transporting
me to the queens quarters in a week or so.
There'er be little chance of escape at the main
lair.
More than a hundred women (mostly blondes) stand
guard at the queens residence wearing scanty
tiger skin out fits.
Some of them ride what black panthers had survived
after the destruction.
Since all technology has been destroyed they carry
spears and wear spiked gold bands on their wrists.
Each night they parade me around the badly burned
city and force me to sing to them and recite poetry.
Life is different here in Edenalia.
The future of the world is in my hands being the
only male so they feed me well..
Perhaps I'm the new Adam~

Those magic years

No one was gonna fool me..
The blue sky was merely the
reflection of trick mirrors
Clouds..it was simple. They
were masses of cotton hanging
by hidden wires-
So called 'real people' were
actually wooden dolls carved
by aliens and dangled from strings
by invisable claw hands
My school teachers were whittled
from alien ugly sticks and showed
up at my school one day for the
soul purpose of tormenting my soul
The earth was nothing more than a
cosmic eyeball in space
I firmly believed that my parents
were spawned in the back hills of
some hippy farm and the product of
some genetic experiment gone terribly
wrong
Such was my thinking when I was nine
years old
All the pieces seemed to fit and for
me the evidence for my case was
overwhelming
But sadly, those years have come and
gone and my magical logic faded with
them
I faced a new world where I discovered
that the sky was really blue..that much
I could handle
But the uglyness of people I learned came
from within their own hearts and not from
the programed control of aliens
Search as I may I found no hidden strings
attached to the backs of people which was
a big let down in its own right
To my amazement people were actually as evil
as they appeared to be..or as good
Still, every now and then I wish for my old
friend the earth eyeball to return and still
hope to lift a shirt someday to find those
hidden strings controlling people
Oh, for those magic years to return if only
for a day~

WHERE HEROES MIGHT BE

Come children, quiet now, gather round,
Shhhh,….. Do you hear that sound?
Do you hear?….
Do you see?
There!….
That slight rustling of the leaves,
Oh yes….This is a magick tree,
For….This is the entrance to Faerie Glade,
By very strong magick was it made,
And, beyond that tree? A magick door,
Into another dimension, where there really is,
No ceiling, walls, nor floor,
Just, what is in your imagination,
Will bring your senses to an orchestration,
A picture of what you think Faerieland is,
You will see,
And, you will find,
Hero’s where you least, expect them to be!
Ahhh….. If you only knew,
That place, has it’s dark side too,
A time when wicked Wizards and Goblins fought,
Did more bad things then any being should or ought,
When, Faeries and Unicorns joined against them in war,
When the fiercest fighting took place,
That any being ever saw!
But….Never fear, for good will always win,
Otherwise t’would surely be a sin,
For, how could good children ever sleep at night,
If evil won out and left them with fright?
So, if you are pure in thought and kind in heart,
Have the courage?
Then that is a start.
Step forward….Come with me,
To a different world…..
Where Faeries, Wizards and even….
dreamweaver, on a dragon,
Might be…..
Each and every one a Hero,
As you will see…….

A Flock of Bleeps

Puter man speaks in confusion
Maybe it's just an illusion
Or some cosmic fusion?
Never heard someone
So ordinary
Speak so achilary
What does he say?
What the feck is
A flock of bleeps?
Why am I called
A peep?
