Sometimes love never dies

It was a cold windy night
As I turned off the light
I heard your voice call my name
I pulled the blankets over my head
The wind was whistling and whipping around
I didn't make a sound
Once again you called my name
I closed my eyes tightly
I felt you brush the hair out of my eyes
I was afraid to look into your eyes
I could feel a tear drop fall upon my face
I knew in my heart it was you
In a low whisper you told me I would be okay
Said you didn't have much time to stay
I opened my eyes only to see your beautiful blue eyes
Oh how I miss you so
Tears rolled down my face
You kissed away my tears
You took away my fears
I asked why you ?
Why couldn't you stay with me ?
Why did God take you away ?
You promised me you were in a better place
You gently kissed my lips
The winds no longer were whistling and whipping around
My eyelids grew heavy
I felt at peace
my heart didn't hurt so much
You took my hands into yours
Told me you loved me so
All the racing thoughts went away
I fell into a deep sleep
When I awoke I was alone
I thought I could smell your cologne
Was it a dream or did you come to me
In my deep time of need ?

Dragondance saga II - Avenger

Dragondance II

Assassins sent to end my race
My last sight was a hand with a mace
And a thousand nights I laid in space
But no one knows or seen my face

The dragons were gone from our place
My village all gone without a trace
Death and her armies came to embrace
Every woman, man and child but me to live in disgrace

I'm the last of our kind
And the first in line
Fought a surprised invasion
And witness my peoples annihilation

Our magical spells had no effect
Our defensive attack were no match
With their deadly prowess in counterattack
And left me to die slowly as a parting joke

With half my sight I gaze
My foe in crimson armor
Wild anger at this human
And willed myself to stay alive

From shame to pain and hate
I trained everyday in snow and rain
Ready to battle when we meet again
And tear his arms and limbs but let him live

Rumours I hear about his whereabouts
Wait for me knight of crimson armor
His death lies upon my deadly hands
To settle this score once and for all

IT’S STILL DOCTOR WHO TO ME

What's the matter with the reboot series?
Don’t you like the Doctors bow tie's?
Maybe you don’t like the brand new Autons?
Or that the Daleks survive?
Where have you been hidin' out lately, honey?
Better effects on which they spent a lot more money.
Everybody's talkin' 'bout the series Funny, but it's still Doctor Who to me.

What's the matter with brand new Tardis?
Don’t you like its organic style?
Would you like if they brought back the round things?
Because we haven’t seen them in a while
Nowadays you can't be too sentimental
The Box is still blue and the Doctors still Mental.
Old Who, New Who, Anyway they do Who
It's still Doctor Who to me

Oh, it doesn't matter what they say in the Forums
'Cause it's always been the same old scene.
There's a new Doctor in town
But you can get the spoilers from a story in a magazine...
Aimed at your average teen

Don’t you like the clothes he’s wearing?
would you prefer him in tartan pants?
You could really be a New Whovian baby
if you just give it half a chance.
Don't waste your time on getting all Upset,
Go out to the store and buy yourself a box set
Next phase, new wave, Cybermen on a rampage
It's still Doctor Who to me

There’s nothing wrong with classic series
Not seen it? You should give it a try?
May you think it’s too old fashioned?
I like it, and I think you will. Why?
Bubble wrap aliens were always kinda funny?
And sets might wobble cos they didn’t have much Money
but it was the old phase, old wave, But the Cybermen still rampaged
and it’s still Doctor Who to me

Old Who, New Who, Anyway they do who it’s still Doctor Who to me

About this poem:
I'm a life long Doctor Who Fan. And on some forums I frequent There are debates about which "Who" Is the best, "Classic Who" or "Nu-Who".
For me that's a mute question. I like all of it.
So with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek, I reworded Billy Joel’s - "It's Still Rock And Roll to Me", to express my love off all things "Who", (If you know the song hum along as you read it).
Anyone Care to have a go and sing this? If you do please post the vid to Youtube and send me a link.

toe nail love

have you ever felt a love so strong
you would gladly chew the back side of her thong?
have you ever felt a feeling so deep
you would gladly become her sheep?

tasting her toe nail fungus won't scare you away
yesterday, tomorrow or today.
a love like this will never pass
even when you smell her gas.

Man From Mars

I might as well be a man from mars
She doesn't know I exist
Never never never,never never never
Never gonna get a kiss

If I had a space suit and went a floating through the air
She still wouldn't speak to me and pretend I wasn't there
If I had a spaceship I'd make her heart flip and her eyes see stars
But she would just hit eject and say adios to the man from mars

I got a few used spaceship parts and more on my list
Gonna leave soon as it's put together
Cause I'm never never never, never never never
Never gonna get a kiss

She's In Hollywood

She's in Hollywood in the movies married to another guy
She doesn't know me never will so why should I try
To write a love song when it's all wrong
But I'm blue as the sky

She's in Hollywood in the movies
Married to another guy

I'm out on a limb and it's gonna break
My chances are slim but sometime that the chance you take
Take tomorrow and I just might learn how to fly

She's in Hollywood in the movies
Married to another guy

Did I write this while in a dream
The paper I'm holding doesn't say a thing
Losing tomorrow is enough to make me cry

She's in Hollywood in the movies
Married to another guy

don t trust people who smile always

don t trust people who smile always
that foot t don the the everything low looking oh! maggot take
even time some thee, I But crossed not remember time, of
insignificance, talk came nodes." I me at the edge of consciousness flits A
feeling that somewhere there's something I've missed The malt-o-meal of
His existence, wondering. wooly boogers on our damp pajamas and yet
the sun shineth down for all eternity Digit, digits, digital,
digitalis, a mention, but that's really not that bad.

Dreams

I want to live in a big house
Having central air conditioning
A fridge full of food
A patio where I cook steaks
A dog named Banjo who adores me
A wife and son who love me
An abundant writing and acting career to pay for it all
Deer who come to my back yard to eat corn
Squirrels who come for corn too
A lake where I can ski and jet ski
Fish I can feed bread by hand
A big screen tv to play my video games on
Another big screen tv to watch movies and shows
I would be healthy
I would be strong
I would be happy
I would not be alone
Everyone would have the same
Everyone would be loved and no one would be alone
This is my dream

Was It really you

Was it you I saw
across the dance floor
My heart began to swirl
I felt like a little girl
I was sure it was you
once I saw your smile
I didn't notice her standing by you
My heart grew heavy
As I turned away
I though our love
Would last forever and a day
I went to dance with my date
There you were standing next to me
You asked if you could have this dance
My date turned and walked away
As we danced
I could smell my favorite cologne
You whispered in my ear all will be ok
Then you gently kissed my lips
as you moved away
I wanted you to stay
tears streamed down my face as I watched you walk away
I was so happy to have this last dance with you
I prayed you would be at our sons wedding
If only in spirt
the Lord knows
you made my day
On this our sons
wedding day

as death becomes her

The way her flowing blood
Dribbled down her slender neck
Painting blackness in between
Both her naked breasts

The way her glassy eyes
reflected the moons light
And smiled up at him
As if they still held life

The way her whispered voice
Seemed to echo still
His name in lustful tones
And of the love he instilled

Made him want to kill her more....
