Four Leaf Clover

If love is black and white why am I red all over
I dont want to fight
I just want to run for cover
But if you push me again
Im telling you now
That its the end , Its the end of your four leaf clover

Of this one true love
Two hearts that beat as one
Without a doubt
Three strikes your out
Dont wanna hear it anymore
Its the end,Its the end of your four leaf clover

Lucky in the world
Everything that you do
Seems to turn to gold for you
But you cant sell a heart thats black
What we had aint coming back
Cause its the end, Its the end of your four leaf clover

Love is black and white
There aint no shades of grey
I turn my back to the wind
Sorry things turned out this way
Now Im facing the Sun
Cause its over, gonna find me a four leaf clover.

The Legend of Thomas Geoffrey Last

Tis a tale I must tell for all who will listen
Did happen some time in the dim distant past
This man that came from none knew where
By name introduced as Thomas Geoffrey Last

Clothes that he wore marked him better than most
A man one might say of a station most high
Many weapons of war round his body he wore
For this man peace would not easily pass by

Now it so happened that right at this time
A creature so fierce roamed this countryside fair
Many a warrior had died by it's claws
Tracking this mighty beast back to it's lair

Out went the call that the King would reward
Of this creature most foul his Kingdom to free
Land and gold and titles most grand
And his daughter's hand, a worthy prize all agree

One by one, these men so brave, out they rode
Crowds cheering, trumpets blowing and banners flying
So young, so confident, with stars in their eyes
One by one, out in the forest these men were dying

Gloom settled as the truth became known
That so many had died and none could defeat
This vile creature who had grown ever so bold
Was there no-one who could this beast unseat

Up stepped this man, Thomas Geoffrey Last
For half the Kingdom and the Princess' hand
He would ride forth, guarantee the result
This beast he would not his onslaught withstand

Out he rode at dawn's first light
No crowds, no banners, no trumpets blowing
Behind barred doors and shuttered windows
Despair in this Kingdom had been slowly growing

As the sun rode high in the noonday sky
Sounds so fierce from forest drifted
Out from the forest the stranger rode
In his left hand a head he lifted

None would he tell what transpired that day
That the beast was dead there was no doubting
Word quickly spread and all came to see
Lining the streets cheering and shouting

Thomas Geoffrey Last settled down
With the Princess and half the Kingdom
Legend tells they lived in peace
He ruled with kindness and wisdom

Non Compos Mentis

You should be behind my eyes
And see the world as I do
All these things that were so bad
They no longer matter

All this pain that I've gone through
My inside outside twisted
The memories that sharply bite
These purple pills have eased them

I'm ready now to walk the streets
And go back to living
So let me out, unlock the door
Restore to me my freedom

Why is it that you stonily stare
So cold and aloof
Hiding behind your white doctor's coat
No words of comfort given

So let me out I beg of you
I have regained my sanity
No more will people stare and say
He's non compos mentis

About this poem:
Some one said 'You are in an institution...I am the one who can release you....or keep you locked away.' They wanted a poem to do with that subject. Here is my effort.

The wizzard of Shamlock castle

The spell had been cast..
Nothing could be done.
For three decades Shamlock
warriors had tried to breach
the walls of Cafe castle which
was four day's journey from
Shamlock
Time and again the knight's of
Cafe castle had foiled their
attacks, yet The king of
Shamlock was determined to
rid the land of all competition
for procuring instruments of
war.
The iron mines were completely
controlled by the elite guard
of Cafe castle..
They were the hand picked
immortals known as the
Bronzemen of Stone Valley..
Klotch, the trecherous wizzard
of Shamlock, had seemingly been
successful in bringing about a
curse on the workers in the iron
mines by controlling the behaviour
of the indiginous cave bats.
At peak work hours the bats would
go into a violent attack mode and
disrupt the mining progress..
The wizzard was seen appearing and
dissappearing along the canyon clift's
while a horde of bats swirled around
his velvet robe.
The Bronzemen reported these strange
happening's to the king of Cafe castle
and the king took his chief advisor's
into his chamber..
After a few day's of deliberation the
king and the Bronzemen had come to a
unified conclusion.
Cafe castle must call upon it's own
famed wizzard to confront Klotch.
They must call upon Manglelegion,
the most feared wizzard in the land~

Another world.

Sometimes I wake in a dream hoping that this world becomes real.
With every extension of the hand I grasp but I cannot feel.
It’s like casting a line and nothing comes up when you reel.
Riding on the steed of adventure in this paradox.
Constellations above glare in witness to the showdown between tiger and ox.
The cemented sun dial’s shadow constitutes the absence of time.
Everything in this box from summits high to canyon’s deep is mine.
But what I search for I cannot find.
Cursed must be this sight for I must be blind.
The mind empty graves as old schemes resurrect.
Weary is ambition as this soul digests regret over failed prospect.
What good are words when there’s no one else to share dialect?
In creation imagination chose one thing to neglect.
Absent be the one who this heart holds so dear.
Without you this world is evidently barren and bare.

Crazy Man

I met a crazy man
in the park
He mumbled and jumbled
His words were dark
But there was a gleam
in his eyes which I
couldn't discern
Was this just madness
or was there wisdom
to learn?
I smiled at the man
not wanting to offend
I made my departure
never seeing him again
Many years passed
when one day I was
awakened
In a hospital I sat
with my memory so
shaken
The doctors said,' I had
lay in the dark'
'It was I said they, who
was crazy in the park.'~

is this a dream

a wonderfuly beautiful dream or so it seems, the star shooting from the sky.
Sittin on the front porch with the love of your life, watching them go flying by
thinking it can't get better than this. It can't feel better than bliss. Love is a sure thing or so it may seem. In the end is this only a dream?

The Ring's of Saturn

I dwell in celestial
light
Among the planets I am
a jewel in the heavens
Many have admired me
from a distance
Many have longed to
soar within my magestic
rings
I make imaginations pant
with insatiable curiosity
I am great but I am only
one among many
One day you will touch the
heavens and I will greet
you
One day this yellow orb
will shadow you in rings
of wonder~

The Ride of Your Life

Every beginning has a certain Magick!

Come with me, experience the unreal,
I promise you, this is no cheap trick,
Unroll with a flourish……Just like so,
C’mon….Don’t be scared,
Sit down…..Let’s go!
Think hard now, concentrate,
Make a wish,
Cross your fingers.....Levitate….
Now….With thought of a kind,
Feeeeel the current,
Pilot with your mind,
Imagine….If you can,
Sheer speed,
Instantly find you’re going faster than,
Faster than the fastest fast,
Until time blends seamlessly,
Future and past,
And as you look across the sky,
See the ghostly premonition,
Of yourself flying by,
Then swing round, start to backslide,
See the future become present,
On your first Magick Carpet ride.

Fright

Tell me, can you help me
I'm in such a fright
Demons come howling
Round my bedpost at night

I squirm and scream
And turn on the light
See demons clearer now
What a terrible sight

They howl and caper
Show their claws and fangs
Dripping, drooling
Ready to take a bite

Then I awake
Dripping with sweat
It was only a dream
But...what was that
