IF ONLY

Never imagined my eyes would be witness
to something as breathtaking as she
Captivates like Moon light glistening
atop the darkened sea

In this surreal moment my soul
feels 'one' with tranquility
These inexplicable feelings certainly
because of she

Incredibly resplendent body blinding from afar
though weak kneed I spring to a stand
I see her and I reminiscing outside Tiki Bar
following stroll along beaches shore hand in hand

Oh boy! I apparently nodded off
during night replacing day
Wow, that stupefying lady starred
in dream I had today

The Room

It was the only thing left in the now empty room
A room devoid of colour, or even a window
The only source of light a single hanging globe
And that was so dim as to be almost negligible

It sat there, like a giant ogre hunkering down
Staring, glaring, menacingly silent
One could be led to believe it was foreshadowing doom
And yet … there was also something benign about it

All around there was a hum as if a million bees
And the walls and ground vibrated to an unheard beat
Orchestrated by a mad celestial being
Constantly changing in intensity and rhythm

Slowly it rose to it’s full height
And with great effort shuffled towards me
It seemed like an eternity for the realisation to sink in
I was staring at myself

THE UNKNOWN

Alice,” I cried, desperation in my voice, “where are you?”
But only deafening, painfully so, silence all around me.
Could she, in the blink of an eye, have disappeared and how?
Do things like this happen in real life, I thought only in the movies.

Early evening it had been and we were sitting quietly drinking tea.
Faint glow in the sky as the sun slowly sank beyond the horizon.
Gathering storm clouds billowed like manic riders across the sky.
Hideous screams rent the night and sudden lightning flashes.

I could see nothing. I had been temporarily blinded by the brightness.
Just as I was beginning to panic my sight started to slowly return.
Knowing that there was something amiss was almost instant.
Left of me there was a tree with a red trunk and black spikes on it.

Moreover from this tree were hanging small animals with green fur.
Nothing else that I could see resembled anything that I was familiar with.
Only then I suddenly realised that nowhere could I see Alice.
Panic took hold of me , I am ashamed to say, and I called out for Alice.

Questions kept racing around in my mind but not one could I answer.
Round and round my thoughts did go but no solution’s ending.
So there forlornly I sit in a foreign land, reality has left me stranded
There’s no way, sense to make, for sanity has surely left me.

Under my feet I can feel the ground, there’s movement like a heartbeat.
Very faint and very soft there is sound, a bit like angels singing.
What does it all mean? As I pondered everything around me changed.
X-ray, that’s what it reminded me of. Shades of gray and see through.

You will be alright. Don’t move, the ambulance is on its way.”
Zaria is my name and I will look after you until it gets here.”

Legend of Drunken Tales saga. Part II

From the distance horizon a black vessel came,
No ship of sail could match her speed,
As if by magic ,she landed with ease.
Neither sirens nor beasts was seen,
But a group of men with 2 powerful women tag team,
Lady Soulgoddess a magician ,and Lady ClticPt12 a Cleric
with honour guards and their Clumsy leader Capt.Kickit22. adjusting his baggy brigga too lose,
Among the shadows of the forest they peep,Just when Sir Ondos wet his girlish balls shield,
And expose their hideout to these strangers,
Lady Soulgoddess with her musical voice, wave her hand,
And in an instant they all stood before them break dancing!,
She spoke with mischief in her eyes while lady Celtic gave a lazy smile,
'By order of Poetno1,We have come to take you to the Kingdom of Macduff!'
You have no choice!'
With that lady WeeWee gave out a loud gas! That shriek capt. Kickit22 into a chicken dance! To be continued...

mirror

I found a mirror
Not made of glass
My reflection, not the same
Not the one
Looking back at me, in error

I avert my eyes from my eyes
Images at odds
Now, this new mirror
Speaks words at odds
With my inability to believe in good

I found a mirror the other day
It spoke
What could be lies
Showed what I didn't see
Not made of glass, it made reflections

Between The Floors

Slowly and methodically he crossed the road
Looking neither right nor left but straight ahead
Eyes glazed over as if in a different dimension
The cars whizzing past he paid no attention to

Was it a fools folly or pure sheer dumb luck
Not one of the cars travelling so fast touched him
They wove around him as if in a ritual dance
And he, master of the dance, moved on to unheard music

Reaching the other side he never hesitated once
There in front of him was the Interact Tower Building
All eighty stories of gleaming glass reaching skywards
But he did not see it, just mechanically entered within

He bypassed the lift and headed straight for the stairs
Step by step, landing by landing he climbed upwards
Floor after floor passed but he never slowed down
Nor did his breathing alter, he was as if in a trance

One could be forgiven if they wondered if he was human
Sixty floors later and he still walked as if out strolling
Step after step, methodically and totally unthinking
It was only when he reached the roof he temporarily stopped

For a moment it almost seemed as if he was confused
Slowly he spun on the spot like a music box ballerina
And then the unseen and unheard called him on
Steadily approached the West wall and climbed the parapet

There he stood, arms outstretched, embracing the setting sun
Far below the world was tiny, as if an ant colony
Slowly he looked around, his face no longer blank
Seeing everything around him as if for the first time

Emotion after emotion chased across his face
Fear, love, hate, hunger, sorrow, but most of all, regret
Regret for all he was going to leave behind
But he knew, there was no other way, no other option

One last look around and a muttered "Farewell"
He stepped off the edge, a calm expression on his face
Someone on the thirtieth floor saw a man hurtling past
By the tenth floor he had ceased to exist

There was no body to hit the ground, he was no longer here
Somewhere before the tenth floor he had gone home
Home to where? Only he and others like him know
For if there is one then surely there are more

Thank You :)

I want to say thank you for always being around
For even on a cloudy day....when all is not quite right
You lift me up in thoughts...from dark... to shade... then light

Sometimes I take myself off..into a magical trance and there I can imagine us together
arms intwined.... sharing a lovely romantic dance

Of course you are blistfully unaware when i shyly, quickly glance,
or maybe even dare to stare
For you're my guilty pleasure...no ...........not really there...
as in this little mind the rules I sometimes bend
For clearly in reality............you are really my dear friend

And, oh what a really cheap date I am !
No need for fancy restaurants...you can just take me to the gym
For then I can feast my eyes upon you..................... ...
as I surely get in trim

Or ,we can go to the park if you like......no cost ... whilst the air is still free
but please let's take the quite path...alone, just you...
just me

Now do please ask your other lady friend's. ..if they'd patiently wait in line
Cause..right now, right here ,in my little world............
their friend.......is all mine :))

Island women

My flight on the way to
Hawaii from the US was
caught in a terrible
storm..
We veered off course and
for hours no raido contact
could be made..
The pilot finally had to
make a crash landing in
the sea and of the 240
passengers on board only
I survived..
I awoke on a sandy beach
on an uncharted island
where a tribe of beautiful
women had nurtured me back
to health..
After regaining my strength
the women carried me to the
tribal chieftess who was
called Shanlee..
Shanlee had her women servants
bathe me in island oils garnered
from the huge plants that grew
deep within the islands interior..
She regaled me with the islands
history as I was fed exotic fruits
by women dressed in palm leaves..
Some 200 women now on the island
were the sole survivers of a war
fought with an all male tribe from
another island that had sunk..
The male warrior tribe called the
Macholians had been defeated by
the women and the last male slave
had died six months ago, Shanlee
informed me..
The women were in desire of repopulating
the island yet the men of the Macholian
tribe were of bad blood and considered
not fit for wholesome society..
After some months had passed Shanlee
thought me an able male worthy of
fathering a new race on the island..
We would in effect begin a new Eden,
and she renamed me Adomelian..
In the years to follow I had fathered
1200 childred who in time would begat
their own childred..
I carried a golden septer the women artisian
had fasioned for me and they carried me
about the island as Caesar had been carried..
Yes, I was the lover of multitudes of women..
I was as a God..
I was clothed in a silk robe spun from seashells
and attended by the most voluptous women the
heart could desire..
But then something strange happened..
My arlarm clock went off and I had to
go to work..
Another Monday morning~

Rag dolls of Cafe castle

The old wizard Manglelegion made his way up
the spiral stone stairs with torch in hand.
Only he knew the secret of the three maidens
from the village of Emerald valley.
The war with the Java tribe had dragged on
for two years and had it not been for the wise
military council of the three maidens of Emerald
valley Cafe castle would have surely fallen to
the barbarians.
In the war the nobleman had lost their prize general
La Steel Doyle in a pitched battle for control of
the high ground.
But the gentry had summoned from the ranks of royal
blood the daughters of famed warriors who had been
taught the fine art of war by their heroic fathers.
The red headed steely blue eyed Shaveen Forest was
successful in penetrating behind the enemy lines and
securing vital information which was central to discovering
key plans in Java tactics.
Manglelegion slipped the gold key into the thick door lock
and entered a cob webbed chamber which was forbidden for any
to enter save he and the king.
The two other warrior maidens, Tammy Peers, and Lacy Waters
had secured their fame when they through some extraordinary
maneuver routed and entire legion of Java barbarians into the
desert where the whole Java legion was destroyed by the elite
knights.
After that the Java council had vowed to destroy the maidens
of Emerald valley but the maidens had mysteriously disappeared.
Manglelegion enters the small dusty chamber which housed a
a single wooden chest.
He pauses for a moment looking over his shoulder for any
would be onlookers.
He puts a special key in the chest lock and immediately the
room is engulfed with a green mist.
Manglelegion opens the lid and beholds three rag dolls flopped
innocently within the cushioned chest.
Then the great wizard begins a mystical chant which bring
the three dolls to life.
'Rise Shaveen, rise Tammy, Rise Lacy!'
The rag dolls sat up and gave noble and grateful stares
to Manglelegion.
In the course of the battle with the Java tribe and in
order to protect the maiden warriors from capture the
wizard Mangelion had cast a spell and turned the three
maidens into rag dolls.
The king would have Manglelegion resurrect the dolls in
order to have them council him and the generals of the
knights on military matters.
At the kings banquet Mangelion would place the dolls on a mantle near the king.
The dolls would hear all that pertained to military matters
and the name of the chief maiden warrior was engraved on
the shield of every knight which they proudly
dubbed..The Shaveen Shield.
