About this poem:
I used to get a magazine called Weekly World News. They stopped publishing it quite a few years ago. It was filled with fantastic stories that were basically made up fantasy, but it was fun to read.

Astral

In between the clouds we fall, Dropping down to Earth with speed Our bodies contort and bend with ease Race you, race you to the impact

Crushing our bones, Death meets us in the dirt An inevitable answer For the the roads we've paved.

Falling from Jupiter, Blasting the planets in our path Gravity, gravity has won again

Sinking, beneath the oceans Breathing, death into my lungs Watching, life quickly fade My eyes, my eyes are burning

My eyes burn Burn my eyes

We are falling into the Sun We are all dead men.n between the clouds we fall,

My eyes burn Burn my eyes

We are falling into the Sun We are all dead men.

Satellite

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----
Casting a calm reflection as I fly over clouds and beyond your sky
Blasting off into outer space to become your friendly eye
Tuning into your windows as just a silhouette of frequencies
Guardian and keeper It is your world that relies upon me
For those who have surrendered I control everything you see
Autonomy is just a memory you can tell me what you seek
I dont know exactly where your going but I can surely guide you there
You can tell me all your secrets and I will transmit to anyone who cares
I orbit from a universal position I can dive into the deepest seas
As I formulate a digital image of your affect on me
Heaven in no closer to me but hell is somewhere down below
As I broadcast out a signal to anyone that wants to know
You may see me in Hi Definition or hear me on a old transistor radio
As I explore mans new horizons by connecting you within my artificial soul
And I will bring your imagination to other galaxies unknown
As I fly you past the milky way light years away from home
-Come visit-

Legend Of The Black Dove (Part 1)

"Enter The Black Dove"

The Year is 1749. A horse-drawn coach is travelling
Down the Dover Road in Cornwall, outlaws attack the
Coach causing it to plummet over a cliff to the rocks
Below. Realising There is no sign of life they leave.
All of a sudden the coach door flew open. As the badly
Injured John Norrington emerges he notices a cave with
A bright glow inside. With his last remaining strength
He investigates and sees a giant meteorite embedded in
The cave, feeling so weak he collapses into unconciousness,
Moments later he awakens to find that he has amazing
Strength. He rushes out of the cave and climbs the
Escarpment. Then makes his way back to Norrington Manor.
He then sets about making a costume. He has a purple
Jacket with a Black Dove ensignia. He slips it on and
Then puts on a mask. It is time for the Black Dove to ride,
He saddles up his magnificent white stallion, then rides
Into the night in search of the outlaws that wrecked the
Coach and killed his friends and Beautiful wife named Beth.
The Black Dove tracks the outlaws to a shack, their leader
Is Jack Wild. He is the man behind the murder of his friends.
He climbs on the roof by Leaping off a large rock, his gun in
Hand, then climbs down to the ground, kicks in the door and
Holds the men at gunpoint. A fight breaks out as the Dove
Wrestles Wild to the ground, he then forces a confession
Out of him and ties him on his horse. They both ride down
The highway, were they pass some of the King's soldiers.
They pursue both men and a chase follows, Wild is captured
As the Dove manages to escape. Wild insists he was
Captured by the Black Dove and he frames the Dove for the
Coach murders. Meanwhile the other two men pursue the Dove
Shooting at him, he is shot and is then lying on the ground.
They realise they have to get rid of him permenantly, so
They put him in a box and drop him down an abandoned well.
His fate is sealed as the box sinks down into the watery
Depths. Whether the Black Dove will live or die, you can
Find out in the next story....."The Golden Coach".

About this poem:
This is the first installment of an action-adventure serial poem, "The Legend Of The Black Dove" which has many parts, based on the style of the old movie serials of the 1930's-1950s and it is a reformatted story I wrote from my original novel "The Black Dove" (1998)

soul

Do we have a soul
What does it look like
Where does it hide
Inside of us

What charector does it create for us
Does it make us good or bad
Is it an angel inside or the devil who hides
Making us do bad

Why can't we see you do we know your there
Are you the thing that makes me do bad things or good
Will you float to heaven when i die or be sent to the devil

Dragon Slayer

For months we traversed the
high seas, and scorned the
mountainous waves
The sails were strong and I
sheathed my sword staring in
defiance at this tempestuous
sea
The crew grunted in sweat and
muscle tending the oars
The Viking island of Dugal had
never been breached by the
foot of mortal man
Still, she remained captured
in that dank and insurpassable
cave by the hellish dragon, and
I steeled my resolve to free her
We entered the straight of Canfire
on the 23 of May, and the trecherous
clifts forbode certain doom with
errie echo's through the jagged
sentinals of black rock guarding
the Canfire shore
This maidens trust burned in my
soul and my loyal crew have sworn
on pang of death to breach the gates
of hell to do battle with the beast
We approached the vast black hole
of the caves entrance in the deathly
fog of morning
Screams echoed from deep within
the caves interior and we rushed
headlong into the mouth of this
hollow pit of terror and my sword
lighted as a crimson fire and I
rushed toward the firey roars and
volcanic smoke that issued from the
mouth of that massive and thrashing beast
All night we fought the beast
Half the crew was devoured by the
whipping tail and razor teeth
Yet in the green swirling fog I slashed
with my last ounce of energy and
scooped up the maiden quivering
within the clef of a rock
I carried her to the ship and dressed
her in tiger pelts and adorned her
neck with stolen jewels
Their was nothing left to do but
incline on the ships deck and roll
in the sweat of desire as a silvery
moon sat like a white ghost on
a black sea-

My Space Ship Alchemy

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----
Gazing through the window of my Spaceship Alchemy
Its submersible its very versatile,
It can even fly to other galaxies
Follow my spectrum ion trail as I dive into the deepest seas
A thousand miles below two thousand leagues,
further than any submarine will sink
Darkness covered and neon lights of nameless creatures I will give a name
Mythological creatures come to life
the Leviathon and Kracken I will tame
Imagine timeless depths that time has forgotten
Untouched by mans ability to spoil and rotten
Than I take a deep breath before I decompress
And I leave this world behind
New frontiers awaits through those heavenly gates
Beyond curious wondering eyes I pierce the sky
As I blast through the boundaries of our atmosphere
I dream of grace before I disappear
Adjusting my review mirror
But the objects are still closer than they appear
Traveling warp speed through unknown space and time
Where science fiction bends reality and occupies the mind
Reflecting the faces of cosmonauts and astronauts
Into the merciless wagons of Juggernaut
Orbiting event horizon I watch another wish implode
Than through a black hole and another roller coaster wormhole
Discovering planetesimals recalculating infinite decimals
Astrology, religion, and alien technology
All of their mysteries revealed truth to me
From a million light years away our sun still shines bright
Our whole world could shine if we unlocked our hearts and minds
We'll fly away into outer space
Where dreams colide before a brand new day
Then ride with me into the deep blue sea
Together on my SpaceShip Alchemy

Dreams Revisited...

Oh wonderful Morpheus,
weaver of childhood dreams,
bring me to a wonderful place
of chariots and runaway horses
entranced in a cloudy mist...

I'll drift away to ancient woods
only to dream and dream,
leaving behind cold and harsh world,
as I chase my fairy tale princess
saving her from the dragon...

I wish away my bed but a cloud
drifting off towards falling star
and the bursting supernova,
all the way to Andromeda,
resting upon the Elysian Fields...

When I awake from golden slumber
to the cruel world of falling sky,
I'll pray for blissful nature
that we all are a dream within a dream
with runaway horses and fairy tale princess...
