that darn cat

On the table the old chicken sat
Clucking pecking
Wings flappin
Feather preened and full

Oh she was a plump old bird
Just ready for the roasting dish
One big problem
The dinners face

Who ws going to do the deadly deed
Volunters
Did did go week in the kness the very thought they tremble they think who was to do the deathlly deed

In walks the chef you catch I'll ring her bloody neck
With a sigh of relief they gather to catch the old bird with a squack feather flappling mmm that darn cat just ate are bird

Foods I love

I love
King crab legs
Pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and green olives
Cheese and Ben and Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup Icecream
I love
New York strip steak
cheeseburgers
Hardee's biscuits and gravy and sausage
I love
Lobster and cheddar bay biscuits at Red Lobster
Popcorn chicken at KFC
Aussie cheese fries at Outback Steakhouse
A blizzard at Dairy Queen
And I love you too
I love
Doritos and nacho cheese
Cheese spread on crackers with sliced green olives
Rainbow rotini
Lucky Charms and milk
Mountain Dew and Mello Yello
and I love you too
I love home cooked meals from my mom
Leftovers from a restaurant
Sharing food with a friend
And life
And I love you too

About this poem:
A parody of Tom T. Hall's I Love. I will be going to Red Lobster today. Used to always order the king crab, but they took that off the menu this year. I will order the lobster tail which is easier to eat, but I will still miss the king crab legs. They do have snow crab, but I can get that a few miles from my home at a Chinese buffet.

food or love

Cheesy bread rolls
In your plastic packet
You look so tempting
So naughty

You make my belly rumble
You make my mouth water
To taste you to devour you
You make me dribble

As I want to have you
To eat you bit by bit
Till your gone gone
No more of you

Your now in my belly
Full to the brim
You wiggle and squirm
Am not letting go of you

You can sit there till am done with you
You fill my emptyness
My lonliness
Your apart of me now

My feeling of emptiness now gone
Till my earning my loniness beckons once more

Make you into a soup or a salad
Best of all my sauce tomatoe katchup

pomme de fruite

Sip the amber nector
The sweet sugary taste
Just been made
Fresh
The jouice from the tree

Golden to taste
The pomme de fruite
Grown on the summer tree
Plump and ripe sweet as can be
Bursting with fullness

Flavour red or green apples plump to the core
Squized their juice flows
Into jugs
Capped and fermented
Waiting to be drunk

Send me some pomme de fruite
Best drunk or sipped
Fresh cider you and me

sensual and mystic

The isle of mystique
The irrigate lands
Harmonieum bond
Black decidant rocks

With fields open wide green megalith
Fields ploughed unobrasive field
Restored to full harmony
Festuon
Tassel with culterd bounds
Fuliacerous to no taste oderious to the soul
No man can coquerour
Oblivous to taste

Short Poem On :::: "Tea"}

[Short Poem On ::: “Tea”]

[A morning cup of drink
wakes up a man from his slumber

What an invigorating drink
Mother Nature gives to a plumber
For leaking taps, tops, toilets & pipes,
Which he immediately sets right
in front of your eyes at site.

A concoction that washes away blues
of children going to school
so that subjects remain glued
in their tiny heads.

A brew that brings many unknown faces
to allay fears, doubts, anxieties
vanish like a ghost without trace
and cultivate everlasting friendships.

A mixture that brings quarrelling couples
Man and woman fighting
over silly things for upmanship

A brew that can end
a dispute between Ram and Rahim
in a no-win situation.
waging war for the last decades,

A brew that can solve
difficult chess puzzles
between two old friendly foes.

A brew that can never become
a storm in a tea-cup!]

Succulent salsa

Dicing juicy tomatoes
swollen, ripe and red
Perfect for anyone
aching to be fed

Aromatic bright limes
rinsed well and wiped clean
Chopping cilantro, jalapenos,
onions, and peppers green

Juicing half the lime
provides a little tang
Mincing in fresh garlic
tantalizing the palates of my gang

Just a teaspoon of cumin
augmenting fragrance and taste
Lastly salt and pepper
Insures no salsa goes to waste

Fast Food

Fish is what I eat now on Fridays
I went to the bowling alley and ate some fish, waffle fries, coleslaw and
Macaroni and cheese
I have eaten out at various fast food places since I could drive
Taco John's being my first from 1986 to around 1990
Then it was Burger King
I have since broadened my choices to include McDonald's
Hardee's(which I worked at from 1988-1993)
Sonic, KFC(formerly known as Kentucky Fried Chicken before 1991)
Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and China Buffet
The healthiest has to be China Buffet
I don't really rank any of them as good paying as I made 3.35 to 4.65
At Hardee's
I guess it's kind of like playing video games
I know it's bad for me, but it makes me feel good

succulent

"canine"..."canine"...
"bicuspid"...say "bi-cus-pid"
.
"molars"...aloud, say "mo-lars"
.
...go ahead...sink your teeth
into the enameled words

use your tongue to roll
them from cheek to cheek
feel them budding in your
mouth, the very words of
your mouth sound rising
from your jaw up to the
timpani of your ear and
into the heart, well ok,
the mind of you, your now

now say "succulent"
..."suc-cu-lent"
how nice the juices flow
the lush U...tangy T
..."suc-cu-lent"

once heard, a juicy word
forever remains
inbrained in us
even if we haven't thought
that word for years...years
it'll come flowing back

"amatory".."am-a-tory"
"sparkle"..."pleasure"
"distinction".."moonlight"
..."hesitation"..."plenty"
"serendipity"..."beloved"

all the melody and memory
that each brings to now as
it flows, vibrates according
its own sound vision..."cool"
