Your words are overwhelming me
Turn down their furious flow
I'm not responsible for your happiness
That's entirely your own show
Your life is transforming you
Experience your own sorrow
Trying to make sense of life
Is something you can't borrow
My honesty may have shortcomings
The truth might lie in a shadow
It's not fair to share your feelings
In the muddy pit where you wallow
When feeling really down inside
Is someplace not to follow
If I could I'd cheer you up
And give you a beautiful rainbow
Just let you know you'll be ok and
Bring you flowers from my meadow

Tough love is hard to give and receive....
The Man From Trinidad And Tobago
He's the man that holds the moon in his hand
From Morvant, Trinidad and Tobago
The words he writes are laced with honey
Always gentle, kind and uplifting
Loves his mother and his family
Reads stories at bedtime to his nephew
No nasty words will pass his lips
Or allow his pen to be writing
War and famine he abhors

Who is this man with gentle soul

Farewell to PC
Hi all this is just a note to say farewell and thank you to all that have taken the time to read and comment on my poems. Thank you also for sharing your work with me. It has been fun, revealing and educational. Best of luck for the future, I wish you all much health happiness and success.

A trouble Free Path
I askith thee to follow a path;
It matters not if thou art male
Or female.
For this path is shared
For things not involving flesh;
I askith for thine friendship,
And thy company,to behold beauty,
Beyond human Life.
This path has been traveled
By many a pilgrim before us,
Each seeking the same destiny.
A destiny that leaves unpaid bills,
Estranged affairs, or any other
Problems that molest us from
Walking this this path.
Tis a narrow path, but through
It's course you eyes
Will lay witness to visions
That will delight the heart;
Visions that will bring peace
To a troubled mine.
Imagine a path where butterflies
Dance before you, with colors that
Hunans could only dream to duplicate?
A rabbit With it's dull brown coat
Sticking his head out
Of a hole; seeing all is safe,
Scurries about without a troubled
Heart; or a fawn with it's
Spring fashion of brown with
White spots designating how
Young it is? or a mother bear,
Watching and playing with her cubs;
A squirl leaping from tree limp,
Not caring about anything but
It's own playful journey?
These visions and others open
Themselves to thyself if thoust
Were willing to walk that path.
I knowst I am willing, the only
Wish I have, Will thoust join me,
As my friend?

A journey started in April
Continues a hundred poems now
What an astonishing thrill
Created a poet in me somehow
Like fine spirits we distill
Our words with challenged brow
The friendship you all instill
Makes me just want to say WOW!

such a wonderfully supportive page
and helping me so far along the way
towards fulfilling one of my greatest

I came to this site and was so unaware,
of its challenge
and soon I saw it was more than,
a dating site it had games and writes,
to puzzles and more so I took the test.
To find out what this was all about,
and not to know if I could write or not.
So I gave it a try and look at me now.
Write and write and where do I go from here.
I sometimes go into blog room and jot in there
even to go play a game but boy do I get
hook in there to long best of all I am here
because to write is good for the mind
and soul of anyone in search for a new chance in
life like you and me poetnumber1 you are
awesome look you came by and left an encouragement
and my words came back thanks my friend.

About this poem:
After having a blank moment poetnumber1 was a sign and gift he helped to get my writing spirt back up to writing a bit more. I quess that is why he is a good poet. I am sure others in this room will agree with this...... See poetnumber1 helped start another write....
Me
Going around the world with not a space for my love and me,
Finding trouble and heartbreak that leave frostbite on the skin over me.
Hoping I find someone who will bring some hot tea for me.
Nothing to bound my personality just acceptance for me.
For all sides even the goofy side that balances out the smart side of me.
No how do I believe I'm perfection but I know I have an untapped me
So see what you want on my outside but the best is inside me.
Caring, nice, and simply are three words that describe me

True friend are for life,
Until the end of life
I believe they will always be there,
whenever I cry or laugh
They know all my secrets,
and understand my fears
They will always be there,
to turn my tears into a smile,
Yesterday I was your friend
today still I am your friend
if ever you need me
I will be right there for you

You shine through your glory and had to look at your age a couple of times in your profile just could not believe you are the gal of such this age, saw so much beauty of your youth in your profile picture all the men would be glad to throw you a party of their love~~~
Keeping the youth to shine through all of your beauty will get you the many miles you have to get to there, do not let this to stop you from your miles of greatness to come your way through your smile I am sure you have much happiness as it shows through your beauty as you
