I will always be your friend no matter what.

We’ll start out as friends just for a while,
We’ll hope to take it further, but in style.
We’ll travel to the stars together well see
Where it brings us where we will should be.
We'll meet for a date and hope maybe more
We'll talk and laugh as we walk by the shore.
We'll see if we can find a place for our hearts
We can grow we can love though we are apart.
By phone and emails and texts you see
We can stay in touch you and me.
We'll travel we'll talk and date for a while
We'll see some day we agree with a smile.
It won’t be long I would love to be
In your arms with you, and thinking of me.
We will fly in a jet over land and sea
We will take a long holiday just you and me.
And like many journeys together we bind
Our hearts into one, and never leave behind,
Just who we are who we want to be.
In love now and forever I hope we can be
In life uncertainties we won’t take for granted
Together we will watch the seed that we have planted.

My Friend

Many people come and go
Not all that touch you
You my friend have touched me deep
A stirring in my soul

When I'm down and misery hits
You are the one I count on
A cheerful smile, encouraging word
And soon I'm feeling better

When I'm wrong and really mess up
You are there to support me
Never once do you criticise
A sign of true friendship

So when I lay late at night
Staring at the ceiling
My thanks I give to the Lord
For sending me your friendship

tell me thelma..

tell me thelma...
the islands of your heart,
the cities of your soul,
the empathy of your world.
tell me thelma,
the peaceful lake shore,
and the fountain,
high in the azure..
tell me thelma..
the door is closed
on the wounds..
gentle cat asleep,
behind the curtain..
tell me thelma..
you have a crazy sailing boat,
in your head..
the power to tame oceans,
to appease volcanoes..
tell me thelma..
your words,
are english,french,
tagalog,
bird,frog,
water and fire..
thelma..
rewriting the lonely planet,
you are our connecting salon..

~~~ POCKETS ~~~
In my pocket here it goes.
One two three in my pocket
another goes ~~~~
She wore her dress with lots
of lace and many sparking
beads and two lovely big
~~ pockets ~~
His shirt with a collar
all nice and pressed,
just a tiny pocket.
Pants warned pockets on the
two sides, also two behind
many pockets just another
~~ pocket ~~
She saw his pockets and whispered
a secret. He saw her two lovely
big ~~ pockets ~~
She wanted to see what he put in
her pocket, just a note saying
~~ just another nice pocket ~~
Friends
I
The world is oft' a curious fit
For those for whom the trappings break
And many hearts have failed that spring,
That childlike spark that lights within
II
But there’s a refuge in between
The practiced waste and the fretting stone
Where Adam’s aim remained pristine
And Eden’s hope is there and seen
III
And in that pause of rare occurrence
I met the bards, the lyric’s crew
And with one voice, it came right through
“Welcome, welcome, we welcome you”
IV
And so in words, my thoughts affirm
A favoured spot in this Para-realm
For all the poets, my friends all true
God's Peace and Joy I commend to you
SHE WROTE THIS POEM (I HAVE DIMENTIA)
SHE WROTE THIS POEM (I HAVE DIMENTIA)
Often we meet new people and know
We just don’t know what to say
Sometimes you just want to rise up and go
But then the lord of dance wills you to stay
I always compare it to a dove seeking a mate
While landing with grace on the highest tower
The dove knows all about providence and fate
While the Lord of dance grants him a power
Suddenly where a dove roosted all alone
Because of the power he had been granted
Two doves agreed to face the unknown
Because seeds will grow if properly planted
Sitting by a fast food restaurant waiting
Watching people pass by and time as well
This is that which I am unequivocally stating
To some pretty lady I’m a pretty hard sell
So the dance continues or it fades away
No melody, no harmony and everything seems wrong
But oftentimes the Lord of dance has his say
And sometimes two start singing the very same song
Worthy Words
Thoughts drift silently
through my head;
I cannot sleep
why go to bed.
I slipped and took
a zzz or two,
but my thoughts had
remained on you...
a pleasant way to
spend my time
with you and words of
special rhyme.
Tommy
I'm the strongest man in Ireland said tommy to his friend,
I'm the strongest man in Ireland it's hard to comprehend,
I'm the strongest man in ireland said tommy to his friend,
His friend kicked tommy in the balls,
The end,
The end,
The end.
