I write this sipping gin and tonic at a bar and reflecting with a smile...
My slow simile tells a story ... a story of a man who has just discovered that he was part of a master plan and wasn’t really aware of it!
The past five days, unusual for both you and me, left me feeling like I have taken part of a bollywood script with all its emotional rollercoaster twist and turns and that too in “fast forward”! ... a script that exposed the lives of two men who discovered meaning in what they have both been through and walked away with a profound sense of meaning and reflection in the most unusual of encounters.
A script where two strangers one drawn by lust and the other boredom came to discover each other as inspiring individuals and formed a bond... a bond that can be as beautiful as the smile of new-born child... the bond of friendship!
This is our story or as I call it “5 days in Tommy-Ville!”
Tom, I journeyed to your city having little expectation and armed with lust and sense of escape. I didn’t know you, nor in hindsight, had any desire to know you, you were merely a tool to get away...
You were to me just an ingredient in the cocktail of recklessness I was stirring for myself. A cocktail that would have the potency to numb me of any sense of responsibility, the potency to blur all lines of reality... it was to be the cocktail to went burning down my throat and blanked out all my troubles ... and you my dear Tommy, you were going to be the absinthe that would blur my mind by its milky haze....
.....Clearly I didn’t see what was ahead because you knocked me out with a power-packed punch! A punch that was so subtle in its delivery, so silent in its advance, and so camouflaged in its appearance that it struck with the deep into my core... An Impact that questioned the very basis of what I was trying to achieve! And turned the tables on where we were heading ....
....I started to explore a beautiful person known by those who adore him as Tommy.
To the outside world he is someone who has a big sign in bold saying “Stay Away”. Some call him rude and mean, some call him arrogant... but I saw what very few people see...
I saw care .... I saw the caring man who reached out to help me realize what was I really looking for..
I saw acceptance ... I saw a man who despite it being difficult opened his arms an allowed a stranger to sleep on the same bed with him...
I saw resilience ... I saw a man who was fighting the demons of the past, the relationships that had scared him and shaped him and trying to open his heart to new experiences to vindicate the ghosts of the past that still haunt him, the Marks, the Joes, and the Andies..
... and finally I saw in his eyes hope... hope that no matter what one has gone through, there is a road that one can travel to make it better!!
Thank You Tommy-Ville!!!

Rainbows are bright
(you were right)
Sunflowers are cheery
(It makes me leery)
The pink ponies take magical flight
(is it true, i just might?)
The day wears on, lazy
(masybe I am crazy)
Here they are again, smiling
(why am I here, dialing?)
They ask me to stay
(You are my sunshine ray)
I just smile, and go on my way

How does it feel when you call and get no answer?
When letters come back with a postage stamp return to sender?
Guess who finally gets to sleep at night?
Yes me, now you have to find someone else to argue and fight with. Sorry for not giving a notice of my resignation to this so call love and friendship, but now you know, I quit

Conclusion
I think if one day I do not have love with you,
But you will be the creature that I will need more
Where to get my car and driving off alone,
Buy a wine and I'll call that afternoon
Can I go to your house?
And take wine together
Talk about our lives and wrongs
And together come to a conclusion:
Even a day apart,
We're made for each other
So I know that we will be more united than ever,
For we shall be great friends,
Dream you're my best friend
Thank you for that!

I am the key
You are the lock
I am the boat
You are the dock
I am the book
You are the reader
I am the birds
You are the feeder
I am the thread
You are the spool
I am the water
You are the pool
I am the foot
You are the shoe
I am the knot
You couldn't undo

Thanks you for believing in me...
when I find it difficult to believe in myself
For always being there...
to offer support and unrelenting help
Thank you for caring for me...
in each and every way that you do
For always being there for me...
even if you have other matters to attend to
Thank you for listening to me...
when I need someone to air my problems to
For always taking heed of me...
even if I don't say word or two
But most of all, I just want to thank you
for all the caring and loving that you do
For me you're not just angel sent by God
But the greatest friend anyone could ever have !

If people would be real and
Honest with themselves
They would find easier their match,
If people would love themselves
They could love others.
If people would be more romantic
This world would be nicer
And full of love.
If people would be more sensitive
When others are in bad situation
In this world would bemore peace.
But is just an 'if' but I wish and I hope
Will become reality.

Its disappointing when those you hold dear to you cease to care.
When there are no helping hands to wipe away your tears of despair.
You wonder if its too much for them to offer a moment to show concern
But there will come a day when finally the fool will learn.
It is in the essence of life that every human
has their own moment of helplessness.
Just how you let me hear my own cries echo
without an answer, i'll leave you in distress.
I was mistaken to ever call you friend.
There are some things that you can never mend.
With your neglect you spat on my heart,
the one thing that had nothing but love for you.
I don't hate you, friendship wasn't meant for me and you.
I can survive your mistake but can you?

I've met the Zoo keeper
and I'm here to say
She's a wonderful person
in all possible ways.
Part wizzard, part angel
and real quick to know,
if you're being real
or letting B.S. flow.
Very quickly I found out
I'm not in my "right" mind.
Deeper conversations
I'd be hard pressed to find.
But she found a crack
in these walls I've built high.
Plink, plink, chips are falling
letting life light inside.

When you meet that ONE
who thinks like you
there's really not much
you can say or do.
Just hold on tight
and brace for the ride.
Try to still those butterflies
spinning around inside.
Five hours on line;
two more on the phone.
And suddenly you feel
like you're not alone.
