my friends

some may say
my friends are dumb
but only i know
that they are the ones

they talk to me
and help me out
at the times
i just want to shout

they give me
an open ear
listening to all
my worries and fears

my friends give me
a shoulder to cry on
when my heart is broken
yet once again

my friends are truly
there for me
anytime i have a problem
whenever that may be

they have been
there for me
through thick and thin
and never failing

all of my friends
i love so much
and always will
even when i am dust

so if you still think
that my friends are dumb
then you are the fool
who doesn't have one

"Strange Days"

Of strangest days
do they befell one?

or do they just creep upon us?

what turn did the desire seek
what chance
what fear
did the decision make

turning within

Growing up?
to not know where

slipping silently
a cross to bear?

Letting go
setting free

It happens to you all
and me

of cradled yield
golden the crop

for once was taken

floundering chances

Twas right!

the open dances

for the beauty of the dance is

LIFE

the rhythm

the music
is the

PATHWAY

I say!!

Play it again Sam!

Alone With Me

Today I feel good about being alone with me.
I am my own best friend. I am proud of the
lady I have become. I am kind and caring and
loving and I like it that way.

I dont regret the things I do for others
each day, in fact i rather like it that way.

For those of you who dont see me that way
Its your loss, not mine if you dont want
to stay.

Cause I am just fine you see, I'd rather
just being alone with me...........

To poets

Sing a song of living,
Sing a song of love,
Sing a song of friendship,
Here and everywhere.

Troubles all forgotten,
Feelings all set free,
Friends, I'll join the chorus,
Joyful and sincere.

Let these quiet moments
Give us great relief,
Sorrows be forgotten,
Join in common glee.

Friends, this little corner
Is a place we need.
Welcome all who join us,
Stay with us, don't flee.

Who Else ?

If I were to paint a picture,
the finest the world has seen.
People would say I'd had a vision
or reproduced a dream.
It would take each viewers breath away,
they'd gasp at every line.
It's beauty would be as a miracle,
that would stand the test of time.
For colours I would use the rainbows
that follow summer storms.
The sunrise and sunsets,
would outline its graceful form.
I'd capture natures' wonders,
for all to look upon
and what would I call this masterpiece ?
It would have to be Yvonne.

About this poem:
I have been sending and recieving messages from a Lady that has given me new life. It seemed most unlikely when I first came on here that I could ever find someone who would make me re-think my situation. I thank CS for this opportunity.

We're all the same

In our brotherhood of men
We are the same, we're just the same.
Tree lives and grows, and falls and dies,
So does a man. In pain and strife
He's born, then grows and dies the same,
We're all the same, we're just the same.

In our brotherhood of men
We try to move to better end,
Well knowing, life is but a thread
Which stretched tight will give and break,
Being the same we're more than safe.

In our brotherhood of men
We'd never know what's best for men,
Much weaker we would be and break,
But for the knowledge we're the same,
Cause we're same, we're all the same.

In our brotherhood of men
Our human nature strives for best.
This is what matters in the end,
Forgetful of or knowing well
We are the same, we're just the same.

True love

True love starts
With a nice friendship,
Sharing same things
In common.
Tue loves starts
With a nice look
In eyes face to face,
With a sweet kiss
And a warm hug.
Tue loves starts
Going in same direction,
With good and worse
And full of love
romantic and trust.
Love starts with a smile
And ends walking hand by hand.

I Hope

I met a new man the other day
but then I almost walked away

I hope he is who he says he is
I hope he wants what he says he
wants.

I will stay for a while, and
manage a smile, and take what he
say as true.

Until he proves to me otherwise
I will give him a chance

I will give it my best, just forget
all the rest and see if together
so happy we will be.

I'm kinda gun shy, but will give
this a try, and be as positive
as I can be. hopefully, we
will hit it off just fine and
things will be good. just wait
and see........

tonight

Today was as bright as a sunflowers petal,
but tonight is as cold as knuckles on metal.
Today I ate good... damn that hit the spot,
but tonight I sniff the air as flesh rot.
Today I had a friend that was so dear to me,
but tonight I cant hear his voice his face I dont see.
Today I had a plan for when we hit the states,
but tonight I'm trying to figure out our mistakes.
Today the smile in my heart was transmitted through my eyes,
tonight I can only frown as my battle buddy dies.
