The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Ridges ***
“Titan’s quest. A basalt murmur shattering squinches.
***
Sky’s drapery falls apart. My sighting, filling scenery;
***
Thy glimpse crushing look; heart’s path is narrow; –
***
- Oh, muse! – Remind me of ridges and furrows of pain,
***
(Nay!..) Fresh waterfalls breaks through from the crest,
***
- As how thy arms stretch an eagle in flight,
***
(Of) where ridges and valleys meet; which rock, hid me?
***
(To) when the slurping echo stops, in which slope, –
***
Of who’s leaning, over the greenery pendentives?..”
***

The sight of beauty such excites desire,
Who could refrain from feeling real delight?!
Here’s beauty in a flesh that one admires,
It’s something from the Heavens given once.
One look and you cannot avert your eyes,
It’s magnet that attracts, a sweet delusion.
You’re stupefied, emotions hard to hide,
You’re lost, your smile reveals confusion.
Where beauty walks around her all are stunned,
It must be hard to stand the hungry stare
Of men in raptures, women losing heart,
She dreams of time to be of all this spared.
Such beauty, don’t you think, deserves a rest,
A time out, little peace, another chance?!

About this poem:
After reading the article attached: living in spotlight may be disturbing, and in a fabulous career (maybe too fabulous) and glamorous life (maybe too glamorous) there must be something important missing… Thank you, dear poets.

DISTANT THUNDER ECHOES IN THE NIGHT
UNDER THE STARS COLD SWEAT WARM TEARS
UNDYING PASSION INNOCENCE AND FEAR
NUMB TO THE TOUCH THE TEST IS THE LESSON
EMPTY AS SHADOW DARK IS THE SILENCE
A FLOODGATE OF WORTH OPENED NOW DRIFTS AWAY
APPEASING THE INDIGNENT OUR SOULS BECOME PREY
ENERGY IS BOUNDLESS POSSESION ENSNARES
BECOME MANIFEST FULLY
BOTH DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES

Fae, where does she fly, aloft
on bright and golden wings?
On soft green foliage,
sleep and rest.
Round gentle song they sing.
Sweet and gentle Fae,
queen of the woods
silver stars so soft.
And within the ring,
danced and frolicked.
Olde Oak smiled, at gentle melodies
and twinkling bells
Night ebbs and haze abound,
and songs like shadows dissolve.
Wood of enchantment,
slowly rests.

CREDENCE AND CASCADE
I am beside you in the current, of the peaceful river, a time to glide along in the quiet flow, you search my face for answers, in the quiet still of the river, but below us the rapids beckon, and the waterfall beyond, soon i will be swept from you, by more rapid flowing water, out over the waterfall, and gone.
How i wish i could float with you, in your arms forever, along our peaceful river, to bob, and splash, and play like lovers do, tumbling, and diving in and out of each others soul, creating our own currents, and waterfalls in our hearts, but i glide upon rippled water, which masks from you the darkness of my heart, for you are light, and i am darkness, can there be stillness, in our river, or will we forever create credence, and cascade.
I feel the pull of the current get stronger, the rapids beckon below me, and the waterfall beyond, save yourself my love, swim away from me to calmer waters, i am the darkness, and will always be the rapids, and the waterfall, you are the light, and meant for calm waters, and stilled pools, swim away from me my love, save yourself, do not grasp me, or you are lost.

About this poem:
I LOVE THE TIMELESS STRUGGLE BETWEEN LIGHT, AND DARK, GOOD AND EVIL, HEAVEN AND HELL. WE ALL ARE PART OF THIS TIMELESS MIX, AND WE ALL HAVE GOOD, AND BAD IN US, IN DIFFERING MEASURE.

I am dark,
I am light,
Do not fear me
For I will be given a fright
Do not dwell in the shadow
But go and run in the green meadow.
I am dark,
I am light,
Do not go on the flight
of Darkness, or you won't survive
You need to feed to strive
In this wheel of Fate.
I am dark,
I am light,
I'll quench your thirst
I'll make your teeth shine,
Within this hour I'll make you mine.
You are dark,
You are mine,
Never knew you'd could
Taste this divine.
You are dark,
You are light,
Now go out, my love,
And never give up the fight!!!

Hello Darkness, my old friend, won't you come inside?
Sit an chat a moment, embrace me, maybe help me hide?
These worries and concerns are getting heavier day by day.
And dragging me down to a place I knew and I do not want to stay.
Many fear your presences. The emptiness they say you hold.
While others fear the Evil of a lightless world, or so I'm Told.
But I fear none of these, for the truth I have learned.
For the darkness they fear is that of their own souls being turned.
So, No, Friend, I don't fear you or the comfort that you give.
In fact I am grateful for the solitude in which you live.
You wrap yourself around me, engulf me with your peace.
A blessed pitch black, where my nightmares can ceases.
Within you I don't have to be so strong, I can let my emotions go.
Let the walls fall a bit, let the facade crack and let the tears flow.
And it may sound strange to those that do not know.
But with out you Darkness there can be no light to glow.
So let it be known that Darkness is not wicked nor is it scary.
It is what it is, a safe haven for the weary.

Who are you
On mounted pedastals
High above
You look and stir
Motionless
You stand
Jessters in hand
Poissed in figure
Cold to touch
Vains deep
Marbled white
Elegant figure
Moulded from life
Chisled jaw figure smooth
Young you are
Now motionless
for all to see
Cast in stone
For all to see

Nacreous colours fill my senses
as the psiturism flows round me
touching the aeolian strings and
stirring the gossamer shroud
bringing ataraxia to my reverent
cosmogyral brings reminiscence
of days long gone by, yet I reach
my destination, my soul's safe haven

Corinthians 13:11
A poem from the bible that relates to our life
today Sunday or the Lords Day and what better way
way to spend it than to write a poem as we
evolve into to an adult but still not able to express
those thoughts, as a boy we have crushes of love but they
do not know you exist and its so hard to explain
what our heart feels in these overwhelming thoughts
but now as an adult those feelings as still there as
we are afraid to express ourselves in fear
of being rejected or not having our feelings accepted
The difference is we must now relate those thoughts into
words without fear because we cannot hold them
within ourselves any longer regardless of the outcome so
we write them as poetic verses in a poem of love
to have an outlet for the words of the heart.
