Life is not but what we make we never say life’s a big mistake.
We look for love and for fame it’s all in the way we play the game.
We call our shots we make our bets and hope it’s one we won’t regret.
But all too soon life’s games at end and now comes the time we have to defend.
For all our rights and all our wrongs in everything that’s going on.
It doesn’t matter were we are in our home
or in our car.
In a Bus or on a train even on a boat or plain
Chances are we won’t get far when our names are called afar.
You’ll here the tone or maybe a bell.
Will it be heaven or maybe hell? No one knows and that’s for sure what really happens when we step through that door.
But it is a trip we’ll all have to make like it or not that trip we must take.
So now we set in awe and wonder see the lighting clap the thunder.
Hoping that we didn’t stray from our loving fathers ways. Because if we did there’ll be hell to pay.
When we come around to our judgment day.

Through your eyes I see a beautiful soul
to Give you my love is my goal
I will hold you tight
All through the night.
I will stand by your side
I will walk with you along the seaside

Tears fall upon a hand,
And rest bejewelled glistening,
Where a diamond aught to stand.
Hurt blinds his eyes and furrows brow,
Hangs heavy tiles on a heart a bowing rafter,
And silence stills where once cracked lines of laughter,
A box, blue hard and lined with white so plush,
On which sits the ring that once had said so much

"Please Sir, Can you spare a dollar?
I've not eaten in a while.
The nights are cold, mid winter now
and shelter I have none."
[Why does he look at me like that? Does
he not understand how hard it is for
me to beg like this. There was a time
where I would never have needed to beg
like this. Can't he see this is tearing
me apart.]
"Yes Sir, work I've tried to find
but it is so very hard.
They find out no address have I,
get told to move right on."
[Why is it the first thing people say
is 'get a job'. If they had any idea
how long and hard I've been looking
they would be shocked. They have no
idea of the prejudices out there. If
you have no home or only list a
shelter they take one look and tell
you ever so politely 'you are not
what we are looking for.' ]
"No Sir, I have no family.
My wife died three years past,
took with her our only child.
Twas a driver who was drunk."
[ I had a family. A wife I loved
dearly and a beautiful son. A drunk
driver plowed into them at a
pedestrian crossing. Killed them
both and that damned lawyer of his
got him off. Not responsible for
his actions due to poor upbringing.
I admit I hit rock bottom and
tried to drink myself into oblivion.
Haven't drunk for more than a year
but once down they don't like to
make it easy to come back up. ]
"Bless you Sir, may the angels smile,
may your life be filled with joy.
There is enough here to eat for a week
and contented I will sleep tonight."
[ I can see by the look in your eyes
that you are wondering if you are
being conned. It does not matter why
you are being generous it just means
I live for another week and who knows
tomorrow might bring hope. ]

Her eyes are a pretty blue
And her nose is as cute as can be
Her mouth speaks of beautiful words
She is as gorgeous as anyone could see
When I see her smile
She takes me far away
My heart skips a beat and I get nervous
I hope to meet her one day
I have seen her in my dreams
We held hands upon the bus
She speaks the words of love
To my soul that I do trust
We’ve walked through a park together
Knowing the dream would end up soon
When I think about her
I pray upon the moon
She would be the last girl
That I’d ever want to be with
I pray for her each night
Hoping for one kiss

online today!
A field of bright diamonds
Sparkles, shine and glow
First rays of dawn,
Crisp, new fallen snow
A New Day
A new year
A fresh page bright and clean
Fresh snow on the meadow,
Not a track to be seen.

If loving you is wrong
Then my heart knows not what is right
I cry myself to sleep
Every second of the night
What is there to do?
What is there to say?
I know I can't have you
But still I give my heart away
I’d walk a thousand miles
And cry a thousand tears
Just to know your love
Will be waiting for me
But what is there to feel?
When you don’t feel the same?
I know I can’t have you
But still I give my love away
You are my dream come true
I wished upon a star for you
But what am I to know?
If you really love me so
I know I can’t have you
But still I give myself away

Hidden in your lies
is the truth
From the deepest wound
Left an awful scar
I fought in hell
To save one's dignity,
I roared your name
Like steel
Cutting cold
Deep enough
To feel pain
Beautiful turns ugly,
the skin almost creeps
Falling a fine line
To cut at the razor's edge
The face cuts truth
In the deepest wound,
cold hard lies
Did I ever know you
The blackest heart
A complete stranger
Horrid ugly,
in what you done
no respect shown
Cold emotionless heart
Cutting to the bone,
to look crazy
Almost like possessed
Like shut down
Open the eyes
An obstacle between us,
like hitting an iceberg,
something is dreadfully wrong
Then you drew the sword
Shot me down
Buried without closure,
the bitter end
Coldest cut
Scarred deep within
the razor edge
Straight through the centre
Just like a knife,
in searing pain
The finest cut
The tongue
like a paper cut
Drawn with the pen
can cut deeper
than any wound
upon the sword
