Wilderness Survival

When you're trying to survive
it is important to know that you are indestructable
and nothing can harm you
so therefore you can do anything you want
When faced with a bear the best thing to do is clap it on the ears
and then just stand there and glare at it
When faced with an alligator you should approach it and
grabbing ahold of each jaw with both hands pull it apart
because their jaws are very weak
To ward off mosquitos run a lot and get really sweaty
that will ward them off
To save yourself from a dog attack make cat noises
and if that doesn't work try biting Fido on the nose
To save yourself from a mountain lion attack run away
as fast as you can and if it does get to you which it shouldn't
cause they're not that fast but if it should keep moving around
that will save your life
When in the desert stay in the sun to get a good tan
and keep your spirits up with a good vitamin D boost
and don't worry about finding water
it rains all the time in the desert
If in the artic look for a polar bear
kill it with your bare hands and use its fur coat to stay toasty
When swimming in the Amazon River
you don't have to worry about pirahna attacks because they only
attack animals their own size
If you follow these survival tips you will not only survive
you will thrive anywhere

Own Cooper Said

If I had my life to live over
I would love more
I would especially love others more
I would let this love express itself in a concern for my neighbors
My friends and all with whom I came in contact
I would try to let love permeate me
Overcome me, overwhelm me, and direct me
I would love the unlovely, the unwanted, the unknown, and the unloved
I would give more
I would learn early in life the joy of giving
The pleasure of sharing
And the happiness of helping
I would learn to give more than money
I would give some of life's treasured possessions such as time
Thoughts, and kind words
If I had my life to live over I would be much more unconventional
Because where society overlooks people I would socialize with them
Where custom acknowledges peers at best with whom to have fellowship
I would want some non peer friends
Where tradition stratifies people because of economics, education
Race, or religion
I would want to fellowship with friends in all strata
And I would choose to go where the crowd doesn't go
Where the road is not paved
Where the weather is bitter
Where friends are few
Where the need is great
And where God is most likely to be found

Short Poem On :::: "Tea"}

[Short Poem On ::: “Tea”]

[A morning cup of drink
wakes up a man from his slumber

What an invigorating drink
Mother Nature gives to a plumber
For leaking taps, tops, toilets & pipes,
Which he immediately sets right
in front of your eyes at site.

A concoction that washes away blues
of children going to school
so that subjects remain glued
in their tiny heads.

A brew that brings many unknown faces
to allay fears, doubts, anxieties
vanish like a ghost without trace
and cultivate everlasting friendships.

A mixture that brings quarrelling couples
Man and woman fighting
over silly things for upmanship

A brew that can end
a dispute between Ram and Rahim
in a no-win situation.
waging war for the last decades,

A brew that can solve
difficult chess puzzles
between two old friendly foes.

A brew that can never become
a storm in a tea-cup!]

ALIVE AT 65

When I was age five
Fairy tales were still alive

Along came 15
Wow now I’m a teen

An aspiring adult at 25
Things are just coming alive

Not a young adult at 35
But still keeping my stride

Middle age at 45
Old age is a far cry

Oh dear now 55
Managing to still thrive

Today I will turn 65
Still here and am alive!

How do you feel when you steal the other works?

Well..... this is my hibernation season... actually I didn't wanna come up here until I've done something. BUT last few days I accidentally read some poems on HERE and I found out that 'HE' is a FAKE one, 'HE' ain't a writer...

HE has deleted SOME of the poems HE POSTED here already. BUT IT is NOT ENOUGH for me... HE should DELETE more as there are some more poems that he STOLE from the others! I remembered all of those poems cus some of them are belong to someone I know! SOMEONE's VERY CLOSE to me!!!!! HE SHOULD be in JAIL!!!! For stealing the other works!!!!

One of his comments said, "my mother was a poet, so I think it's because of genes or something, and that I wrote this blah blah blah ...." This poem and comment are deleted already cus it's ILLEGAL!!! I feel sorry for HIS mother, she should be so PROUD of HIM, if only HE wrote poems by himself!

Another one that he said he dedicated for someone he falls for in here, or "love on CS", ! that was a sweet lovely poem which has been written for more than five years!!!! I was surprised to see it here! I even left a comment, said "WOWW--- very lovely poem!" I wanna know how he would reply me... Shame!! the poem is deleted again in the morning! At least , He felt guilty, well I'm appreciated!

(( damn, he even flirts one of my lovely sister!!! )))

For someone who loves to steal the others works. You KNOW WHO!!! He is A MAN! I will not mention his name this time, I'll try to be calm and cool. You are lucky that I am so KIND! cus if I am not kind, you would NEVER EVER stay on this poety board since the first time I read your COPIED poems!!!

DELETE ALL OF THOSE POEMS YOU COPIED!! WRITE ONLY YOUR POEMS! DO NOT COPY THE OTHERS! BE HONEST! IF YOU WANT TO FOOL AROUND, JUST FOOL YOURSELF!(

^_^ With love and care, hope you have a nightmare!

SaS

P.S.

Don't dare to write me or anything!!!
NOoo not that because I fear you!
I have no fear but you are so disgusting
that I can't force myself talking to you

Your mind is dark as same as a nightmare
Your brain is empty, you stole poems! how dare!
My 6-year old nephew's never copied anyone homework
cus he knows if he did, he would be called as a JERK

YOUR QUEST

gold hidden 'neath the rugged earth
upon which lay your quest
yet murky and turbid is the dew
that is harvested in a cup of sand
your weakness never sets
over the parched and scorching heat
nor will your strength
ever laid to rest
until you will run out
of your sweats
you will want to know
deep within your heart
why all this land
is covered with blood
and as the world lay witness
and yet mightily unconcerned
to its naked plight

your mind will never fathom
why the rift is burning strong
so you will keep on digging
until you reach the bottom
hoping it will lay bare
all the reasons,
that this blood covered land
is a conflict no more
in the mighty difference
of white and black color
but the gap of those
who have and who don't

the question is...will man ever learn
how to vanish indifference?
give to those that have not
and even out the earth's wealth
so revolt will not explode?

perhaps nobody really cares...
you are alone, abandoned
on this quest..
buried
in a drifting sand
stained with ruthlessness
by the greed of human hand
glued forever
in human blood.

THE HIGHWAYMAN

Outside,
Hostelry sign swings in the storm,
A creak….. The door opening,
Wick in tallow guttering,
Sputtering, as cold air greets warm.
Footsteps ‘cross a silent room,
Except for the old man in the corner,
Pulling on his clay pipe,
Muttering in the gloom.
First a whisper then two, then a laugh and talking,
Clump clump, as two flintlocks are laid on the bar,
Twas and will always be the same when he comes,
Looking alive, but almost, a dead man walking.
For he will likely one day be caught by the law,
And by the rope, and by the courts,
The gentry relieved,
A wigg'd hangin’ judge will even the score.
But for now a hearty meal, a whiskey dram,
A buxom wench,
A pipe with tobacco from the bottom draw
To satisfy the legend and the man.

"So here’s to the free wind as it crosses the moor,
Here’s to you and here’s to me,
To the damned taxman and the Royalty,
Two yards of rope on the hangin’ tree,
And to the day I don’t come through that door".

Gonna miss you baby..

Gonna miss you baby
but its's just for
a lil' while

Don't make me look
into your eyes,
Please don't do
that smile

Those crocodile tears
will only drag this
out- you know I gotta
leave

Baby I'm not strong
enough to close that
door- cause you have
me on my knees

So let me go my love
You're holding on
so tight

Just a lil' while
baby..I'll make
everything all
right..

Into Eternity

Walk into eternity
adorned with imortality

Stripped of flesh
and bone, this
primitive reality

Mind dimensions
unknown
Spirit transcending
time

Consciousness awakening
from itself
With its memory
left behind

Infinity is just
a moment, as long
as forever hangs
around

Eternity is but
a broken clock..
The only game
in town~
