To all poets who entered or took part in any way in
"Mizzy's Green Challenge" I would like to extend my
warm thanks. I must say I was bowled over with the
response. You are all such a great bunch of people
and such fantastic poets, its simply a pleasure to
be part of the corner. I think it helped to bring us closer,
as Paddy's Day brings the world together in Green.
A special mention to Lady Odette (Josephine) for all
the lovely sentiments throughout, and to Robert for the fun.

With a WHOOOOOSH……and a WHIZZZ,
Scattering snow with a fizz,
Children looking anxiously, for the slightest sign,,
He is skimming ‘cross the sky, performing tricks with time,
While mere mortals are out in the night air shivering,
He is squeezing down every chimney delivering,
Or even the smallest gap….some think this an impossibility,
As not all have chimneys you see, not in the city,
But, as at the same time, he is both here and there,
With speed his cloak of invisibility, he gets everywhere,
On every child who believes, he will call,
As surely as frosty winter follows fall,
To all in the neighbourhood,
Especially to those who have been……

Let me give you an introduction,
If you are new in Poet's Corner,
It's also fondly known as the Sanctuary,
For we are the multitude voices.

We are creatures of a spectrum of emotions,
Different background,race and colour,
Giving remarks to one's work is voluntarily,
and we are the hearts it's faces.

Remember the joy of sharing,
And also the part of caring,
There is something for everyone,
For we are all and we are one.

Kindness begets kindness,
And no one wants rudeness,
Love and respect for all,
Into this magical poetic hall.

Wine and turkey….
Log and Puddings…
Warmth from the fire..
Laughter….
Sure looks good from out here….

I tighten my tattered coat...and wonder
Where would I fit the Christmas Tree…?
In this cardboard box…
I call my Home

Historians have long debated...
Two topics that seem unrelated...
Prophets have long clearly stated...
Scientists have no faith...

The evidence is all around you...
Sparkling stars, the ocean blue...
Forests of rain...
Emotional pain...
Sun shining through the nights hue...

God created science it is undeniable...
Scientists claim that it's unreliable...
Looking for proof...
Lacking the truth...
Denying the heavenly hands that were used to create them....

Distance could seperates You and I..
Disistance could't separate our hearts...
Distance never seperates..
two hearts that really care to one another....
You'll always be in My heart..!!
Distance never can keep me apart from You..
As long as you´re here in my heart...!!
Here my heart, that's where you'll always Be..!!

The woman sat wrapped in the blanket, next to her lay the wolf she stroked his fur lovingly and lay her cheek on his back,
she heard his heart beat and felt his breathing and her mind was again dancing with the Man who loved her.

As she sat dreaming the first rays of sun filtered over the mountain and she felt the warm rays on her hand, she stayed still watching and tears welled up in her eyes, as she felt the changes begin under her hand.

She stood and stepped back as he began to change into the Man she loved with all her heart and soul and as he slowly turned to look at her he reached out her hand almost touching him as her eyes grew wide and began to change.

He cried out as he tried to reach her hand, but she was already lifting up into the sky and had become the eagle that by day stayed with the Man who she would love for all time, as he would be the wolf that protected his Lady at night.

Always together never appart, but never able to touch in the same form, they would love until they died.

I've ridden black stallions through
Mystic rainbow clouds..
At times I could catch a glimpse
Of her beauty amidst a translucent
Divine sky
Her energy was a metamorphosis
Transforming loves portrait into
Earth's sweet savour
Still I could taste the remnants of
Her love In streams that run eternal
In caves unexplored
In riddles yet solved
In wine never tasted
You can hear her whisper
Within shadows that fall
Across castle walls
In legend's that refuse
To sleep
She is..beautifulyou.

I am very old now,
and I feel my days
will be few..

I have not much
to leave to the
world now, except
my memories of how
things once were..

I'm awakened in the
night with the sadness
of what we lost..

Adam tries to be strong,
yet many times I've heard
him crying in the night..

We both try to hide the
pain, and the shame of
it all, but it is there..

My children try to
comfort me, but I
feel I must say
something..

I know how we were,
but sometimes a cloud
darkens my mind.. when
I try to speak of it
I am unable to form
the words..

It is though the
almighty forbids
me to reveal what
we once were..

I know the whole
world will look
back on us, and many
will hate us..

But I want to say..
I am so sorry..

I am sorry for what
we have become..
for what has become
of the world..

So much hatred..

Yet, I can tell
you this.. We
were so beautiful!

And it seems that..Oh,
yes, I remember that
part! It was Adam, and
he spoke to the stars,
and then..Oh, I can't
seem to remember the
rest..I am sorry..

The garden was so
beautiful! And we
danced in our hearts..

We were so happy!

Then.. that dark
day came.. and
we fell..

So much saddness
after that..I so
much want to go
home now.. The
Eternal God has
forgiven us..
He tells me this
in my heart, and
I know he still
loves us..

Adam said I am
not to worry..
but still.. I wish
I could tell you
a secret..
Eve

Last night I dreamt of you
It lasted for only a few
It's ok because I was with you
I laid in your sweet strong arms
Listening to your sweet charms
Feeling safe and sound
My heart was beating fast
I had you at last
To see your face and hear your voice
Made my heart sing
Even if it was only in a dream
All your soft loving tender kisses
Sent shivers down my spine
I woke up feeling fine
You can come to me in my dreams anytime
