That is what I paid a gallon for gas this morning
I figured I need a full tank to go to WI Dells
So I got three gallons to fill my tank
With my better gas mileage with my Chevy Cruze
I get about 34 miles to the gallon
My three cavaliers I had from 1994 to 2019 got about 25 mpg
So this trip will cost about 28 dollars in gas
Back in 2004 it would have cost about 12 bucks
How high will it go?
I drive 21.5 miles to work each way
I also put about 18,000 miles on my car each year
This year will be more as I'm taking a trip down to Texas thru Arkansas
If it goes to six bucks a gallon
It should take about 450 dollars
I seen a sticker on a pump on May 6 when the gas was 4.09
It has a picture of Joe Biden pointing
Below his pic it said "I DID THAT!"

He Taught Me...(an original poem from a book of Inspiration that I published in 2016)

"Oh God, you have taught me from my youth;
And to this day I declare your wondrous works.” (Ps 71:17)

He taught me WHO
He was, is and will continue to be.

He taught me WHAT
was truly important – His Will, His Purpose, my obedience.

He taught me WHERE
to look when I couldn’t find my way out the maze, or was blinded by the haze that surrounded me.

He taught me WHEN
It was okay to stop and stare at the clouds for a while, to inhale His Greatness and exhale His praises.

He taught me HOW
to smile when I felt like crying, cussing, yelling or giving up, to believe His Word, and to really trust His Love for me.

He taught me WHY
I need to face life’s challenges with optimism, regardless of how daunting they may appear.

And...
He’s still teaching me.

Waiting For A Storm

The storm that never came

Those flashes of distant light

That low rumble of thunder acclaim

Went well to the west in the night

Where hid the wind and water more

Once again as we gaze from our blind

Taking those long walks on the shore

Already our footsteps vanishing behind

Where the future meets the past

And when the starry nights form

You say how much longer will it last

Still waiting silently for the next storm

When The Soft Rains Fall (War-Time)

When the soft rain falls on the grass

In darkness hides not the mummer

That each rain drop striking each blade

Drops by fragile drop through summer

The work and worries of the daylight

Vanish completely from its mindful turn

The only clue in the soft echos of midnight

Bouncing softer and softer upon each return

Not a few fluttering wings has us taught

That the moths of each season will persist

What war and injustice has brought

Would nature not care if humans exist

For in herself is woven one need

The tapestry of forests mixed in fog

Untouched by the impostures greed

The buzz of bees in and out of a hollow log

Who in her nest still sings her merry song

While distant mates shrill as battle’s call

Just what brings happiness to us all along

Scarcely be made for any of us at all

House of Burden

This house of burden, the house where I live
has become a burden
a burden of proof, burden as it
none-the-less, I live with it, thou, I could do better
this world of ours, once again rotating on this crisis
crisis comes and go, 2008, I let it go
but, in the meantime with this one, can't deploy
like if this one's toy
mesmerizes me more, and whore, my dear tomboy
wish could humbly be done
towards a better place "in the sun"
another time, thou, not too late, I hope.

i want to go home

where is my mom?
i want to go home.
Everyone gone,
i want to go home.

where are my friends ?
i want to go home,
why am i alone?
i want to go home,

where is my dog?
i want to go home,
just where am I?
i want to go home.

i am cold and hungry.
i want to go home,
i miss my family,
i want to go home.

who are you ?
reading my poem,
dont leave me alone,
i want to go home !

Mercury dip

Mercury dip
lightning horizon
south of 65
blue blue ice
penguin palace
an ocean expanse
under all God's rain
hear the boat creak
with the fury
ride, yes we ride
the tempest
with shredded sail
and frayed line
visions of Magellan
edge of existence
salted fish and wine

It's time for you to show

Dont do to others
what they done to you...
coz you will hurt another
And it comes Back to you!
Noone says it is easy,
but with a heart like yours,
it is not so hard either.
Be wiser ,not foolish ,
Be forgiving ,not Selfish,
Your talent is your gift,
Now is time to give others a lift.
Forgive and let it go,
It is time for you to spread your wings and show.

If we lived by this poem,
Mcradloff thinks this world will be at peace!
After reading this poem paloma agrees,
And says it is sound advise to me.
Odette from england is all smiles with compassion.
Because We all must learn to let go and forgive,
Jena find her freedom her love,
All silver pink purple wings and fly away.

JESUS...my rainbow (an original poem from a book of Inspiration that I published in 2016)

“I set my rainbow in the cloud…” (Genesis 9:13)
“…; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.” (Revelations 4:3)

When the storms of life are beating upon the frail fabric of my mind
I long for peace and rest.
My soul looks above the clouds unto the veil behind, hoping for a sign of His Presence because He alone knows how to calm the storms.
He alone knows my story.
He alone feels my pain.
He alone cares for me and can ease the strain of the burdens that I carry.
He alone can take away my sorrow,
And promise me a bright tomorrow.

HE IS JESUS… MY RAINBOW

LADYCOUNTESSA

ALTERED EGO

Mirror mirror on the Ceiling,
Explain to me this peculiar feeling
As I gaze into this reflective glass,
I recall the time I Tanned your a**

Towering astride in my leather Gear
The Countess is present she's really here

Strong and formidable kinky too
She's a lot to handle for a guy like you

Mirror mirror on the Ceiling explain to me what you're revealing

This woman I see in the reflection
Is it truly me
Or self-deception

Mirror mirror
on the Ceiling
Who's this guy at my feet
kneeling

Massaging my toes with frankincenseand & myrrh
Who'd believe this would actually occur

Once a woman oppressed subjugated and demeaned
Now takes flight
after being quarantined

Agile winged Crane
Soaring new hights
The released child thrives whilst the flame ignites

Mirror mirror
on the Ceiling
You now bring comfort
and therapeutic healing

About this poem:
This poem was inspired by the fairy tale mirror mirror on the wall...
I thought mirror mirror on the ceiling would be a nice adult Twist.
This was part of a project where we were decorating mirrors...
My full length mirror was decorated fit for Freddie Mercury... and was exhibited at the Alley Theatre Strabane
