Can I Paint You With Words?

Embedded image from another site

The artist ready with his palette,
Shall catch a moment In your life.
You shall be there upon the canvas,
Immortalized forever.
In your glory you shall stand,
On canvas proudly displayed,
An auburn haired beauty,
So the title It will say.
Such Immortality I cannot give you,
I have but my simple words,
To you my Love I do devote them,
Though they may never Immortalize.
You stand before me natures' daughter.
Your flesh Is divine perfection,
Your body being Love's own temple,
There you stand my earthly Angel.
Living auburn hair dances down,
Around your shoulders such gossamer touch.
My beloved turn now.
Let my words see that which saw no paint,
The soft brown eyes two priceless jewels,
To look within Is to be lost In Loves' Domain.
A wondrous smile that lights up your face,
You become the living sun of my life.
Breasts point forth calling for Loves' own hand,
Your temple shines ready for loves' embrace.
Nature's shadow awaits the time to come.
Blush not my beloved,
These words tell not the glory that Is you,
The true glory lies within,
Where your true divinity lies,
Where the woman that you are does dwell,
The true woman.
The artist does win with his canvas,
Your beauty he captures forever.
I am but a child of words,
These words die at the end of my pen,
I think I can paint you with words,
No, I know this can never be.
No one can paint a true Angel,
The artist gets closer to the truth,
We can always look upon your canvas,
An auburn haired beauty.
In truth You alone know the answer,
“Can I paint you with words?”

Cafe's Mermaid

It was dusk and the sun was just going to bed over the sea, the water was carm and looked like blue, green, white and silver glass.

She climbed onto a rock slowly so she would not be seen,
Her tail shimmered with the colours of the sea, her hair red and flowing curled slightly just past her breasts, falling free with rivers of water down her back.

She gazed at the shore her blues eyes searching the beach.
She spotted him laying there, his legs stretched out in the sand, his strong arms folded behind his head, he was gazing out at the water lost in thought.

She watched him as she had done for the last two nights, she wondered what he was thinking, she wondered what his hair would feel like if she could run her fingers through it, what his lips would feel like if she could kiss him.

Today she felt brave suddenly and slide into the water,
She swam slowly into his line of vision and watched him slowly sit upright and rub his eyes as he saw her, she looked deep into his eyes and smiled slowly at his expression.

She blew a kiss and waved, laughed and dived into the sea her tail flashing for him, and decided tomorrow she would be braver.

Magic Witch and her desire.

A sprinkle of magic,
A click of my fingers,
An antique broom comes to life.
Settle into the handle and fly high
Scan the night and find the Auro you know so well.
Hover over and softly drop magical dreams down, smile and blow a kiss so he remembers.

Tom Cat

Adore cat's, a cat will find it's own owner.

Now a Tom Cat will be full of cheek, stroll up and check you out, let you get a little close, but when you go to stroke him he's suddenly gone.

And you begin to miss him, checking often to see if he's sitting, Just out of reach watching you.

His green eyes, seem to smile into your soul.

You begin to need the watchful, quiet, gentle way he projects.

One day maybe, just maybe he will feel like coming closer.

He will never be tamed, and it would not suit him.

Jacaranda trees at night

The purple petals darken in the gloaming;-
In their flowered elegance, belles' dresses,
Fall in a slowly darkling Summer night;-
To the fecund loamy softness of the earth;
Where the purpleness dissolves into the air;-
And creatures stir.

Soft velvet carpet, clear Summer skies;-
Stars circle above, in the black eternal vault,
Mysterious. A full moon shimmy-shines,
It's radiant silver, to shower the trees.

Sparkle stars, hours pass, soft dawn encroaches;-
Diffuse flower fragrance kisses the sunrise;
Crystal dew drops refracting tiny rainbows;
And soft mist, from the ladies' purple dresses.

The Land Where The Cowgirl Grows

The sun kissed West
In romance dressed
The home of the summer snows
Where the wily camp bird builds it's nest
In the land where the cowgirl grows.

The rope keeps time
To the hoof beats rhyme
And the tanning breeze that blows
From youth to age man's at his prime
In the land where the cowgirl grows.

There circle race
And fall to place
As the lariat she throws
Across the blue flit clouds of lace
In the land where the cowgirl grows.

She's blithe and brown
She fears no town
And laughs wherever she goes
It's there they help the man that's down-
In the land where the cowgirl grows.

They sing by rote
And swear by note
In the home of the sun's repose;
But it's ladies first, when they go to ride
In the land where the cowgirl grows.

Faceless Man

Faceless Man
Body of a Lion, strong and secure.
Mind of a gorilla, gentle but naughty.
Heart of an elephant, true and protective.
Faceless Man
With arms so gentle enfolded around me,
With lips that brush my brow so softly,
With a chest so safe I curl into each night.
With a heartbeat so strong I feel it with mine.
My faceless Man,
With you I belong.

Old Friend
Happy to see an Old friend in Poetry
Lively Loving Caring and Kind friend
Who's poem was full of Love
Addressing her beloved
With words like pearls
Her poems she shared
Was classic poetry
I missed her very much
Happy to see her again
Her name is Ladyjewel
I called her Diamond Lady
Happy to see her back

~Door Knob Turns~

a step out into another dimension, horizontal breath a frost clings to the air lost in sight. Snow's yet to lay is a finger tip cold night. Perfect night in gaze a spotted night light as hands found the pockets head back in stare. Periph's pickin up clustered cloud a breath catches the air as a tongue to iced steel. Whats past the black behind spots a light as ears start to burn in the cold laden flowed air. Huge deep breath plundered drawn in . . . . . ~

~Did you let her go~

Did you ever have the feeling
That was the best you ever had
Did you help it feel good
Or did it get there
All
By itself.

It's said life's not about love
Yet, if it's knockin on your door
Would you open it wide.

Your face has a smile
That comes from within
Door bell was rang
Fifth time we try.

Walk of shame never happens
When you believe in your stay.

There's a connect that you find
That idles your life where you spend most your time
Tho your heart gets trumped by your mind everytime.

That hand with a finger touching your face
Your mind saw it often
Yet it had to erase
A time in your life that was so
Good for you.

Those sheets full of memory
Washed down the drain
Love you never had
Filled in the blanks.

It's five am, from the sheets you rise
Hands are empty, tho the mind sit's quite full.

Dam it that dream kept it alive
What I wanted in life
Yet your ears that were wet
Failed to see.

Was it you
Or was it me
Arms now arthritic
So much time has passed by.

My words now release you to settle my heart
A place where we started, now time to depart.
