Now Dud, if I've told you once, I've told you a million times, any time a company is taxed, that tax is ultimately paid by the consumer. It's a bogus arguement.

I would recommend a logic 101 class. professor

America at the abyss

By Henry Lamb

There is a direct correlation between America's downward spiral and the nation's departure from adherence to the U.S. Constitution. During the first hundred years, America experienced growth and prosperity never before imagined by people who never knew what freedom was. It was a rough and tumble century; not everyone prospered. Many people were victimized by profit-hungry capitalists. The answer to this inequity, according to some of the 19th century philosophers, was government management of the affairs of people and their business activities. Proponents of these ideas claimed the name "Progressives."

Progressives prevailed at the dawn of the 20th century when Woodrow Wilson won the presidency, guided by Master Progressive Colonel Edward Mandell House. With few notable exceptions, Progressives have dominated government since the Wilson era.

The single most apparent characteristic of Progressive influence is a complete disregard for the U.S. Constitution. The Founders designed the government of the United States to share and balance sovereign power between the states and the new federal government. The new Senate was chosen by state legislatures to ensure that the states would have a decisive voice in the federal government. No legislation could become law, nor could any treaty be ratified, nor could any Supreme Court Judge or Cabinet level official be appointed, without approval of the states. This state-held power in the new federal government held the new government in check for the first century.

So effective was this check and balance, Progressives were not able to advance their agenda. So they launched a well-calculated campaign to amend the Constitution to prohibit the states from any participation at all in the federal government. The 17th Amendment achieved this result by denying state legislatures the Constitutional right to elect their Senators.

Originally, the Constitution required all taxes to by levied "…uniformly throughout the United States." The 16th Amendment changed that and allowed the progressive income tax. The Constitution gave Congress alone the authority to coin money "…and set the value thereof." Progressives did not like this limitation, so they contrived the Reserve and now Congress has virtually no say the coinage of money or the value thereof.

These are just a few of the departures from the Constitution caused by Progressives. One of the most consequential departures from the Constitution came at the hands of the Supreme Court in the 1954 vs. Parker decision, which re-interpreted the term "public use" in the Fifth Amendment to mean "public benefit." Six of the judges were appointed by Progressive-in-Chief, Franklin Roosevelt. Since this decision, the federal government has joined state and local governments in erasing the notion that private property is sacred in the United States.

Part 2

The idea that governments, not private owners, should control the use of land gained great momentum in 1976, when the United Nations Conference on Human Settlements, meeting in Vancouver, BC, declared that:

"Land…cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; Public control of land is therefore indispensible…."

Both William K. Reilly, future- Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, and Carla A. Hills, future- U.S. Trade Representative who negotiated the World Trade Organization, signed this document for the United States.

Five years later, in 1981, the city of Detroit took 1500 privately owned homes, not for public use, but for what the city said was a public benefit, the construction of a new General Motors plant.

Six years later, in 1987, the World Commission on Environment and Development declared that development should be "sustainable," defined to be:

"…development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

The Commission's final report, Our Common Future, declared that in order for development to be "sustainable," government must manage development to insure that it is socially equitable, and environmentally safe. The key words here are "government must manage."

Five years later, in 1992, the U.N. Conference on Environment and Development produced Agenda 21, signed by 179 nations, including the United States. This document spells out in 40 chapters of very specific recommendations, just how government must manage development to insure that it is socially equitable and environmentally safe.

Neither private property rights, nor the U.S. Constitution is given any respect in Agenda 21. Nevertheless, since the creation by Execution Order of the President's Council on Sustainable Development in 1993, the federal government, and state and local governments, have been focused on implementing the policy recommendations contained in Agenda 21, disguised as "Smart Growth," implemented at the local level through "Comprehensive Land Use Plans."

Freedom cannot survive government management. The U.S. Constitution designed a government managed by the people; Progressives have disregarded the Constitution and fundamentally transformed government -to manage the people.

Since the post-war peak of American productivity in the 1950s, the U.S. Constitution, and consequently, individual freedom, have been consistently, and deliberately eroded by the Progressive influence in society, and especially in government. The tidal wave of Progressivism that washed over Washington in 2008 drowned the nation in debt, in its search for "social equity" and "environmental safety."

It should now be abundantly clear that without the U.S. Constitution, and the freedom from government management it guarantees, the American experiment in self-government stands at the edge of a cliff, about to fall into the abyss of history.

U.S. Business Has High Tax Rates but Pays Less

Topping out at 35 percent, America’s official corporate income tax rate trails that of only Japan, at 39.5 percent, which has said it plans to lower its rate. It is nearly triple Ireland’s and 10 percentage points higher than in Denmark, Austria or China. To help companies here stay competitive, many executives say, Congress should lower it.

But by taking advantage of myriad breaks and loopholes that other countries generally do not offer, United States corporations pay only slightly more on average than their counterparts in other industrial countries. And some American corporations use aggressive strategies to pay less — often far less — than their competitors abroad and at home. A Government Accountability Office study released in 2008 found that 55 percent of United States companies paid no federal income taxes during at least one year in a seven-year period it studied.

The paradox of the United States tax code — high rates with a bounty of subsidies, shelters and special breaks — has made American multinationals “world leaders in tax avoidance,” according to Edward D. Kleinbard, a professor at the University of Southern California who was head of the Congressional joint committee on taxes. This has profound implications for businesses, the economy and the federal budget.

As Congress wrestles with how to get the deficit under control, one big point of contention is whether spending cuts will need to be accompanied by an increase in taxes on some individuals or businesses. Facing a full-court press from business leaders who say the tax system is outdated and onerous, President Obama, Congress and business leaders have been warily negotiating various proposals, though mostly about whether to cut the top corporate rate and to tighten tax laws and not about whether to increase revenue.

The United States ... allows companies to avoid those taxes indefinitely by keeping profits overseas. That encourages companies to use accounting maneuvers to shift profits to low-tax countries and to invest profits offshore, says David S. Miller, a partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York.

In addition to being complex and uneven, the United States corporate tax code is inefficient and has become a diminishing source of revenue. Corporate taxes accounted for about 9 percent of all federal revenue in 2010. At $191 billion, they were equal to 1.3 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product. Most industrial countries collect more from companies, about 2.5 percent of output. Only a portion of that disparity can be explained by the many types of businesses in the United States that elect to be taxed at an individual rate.

...Because some companies are so effective at minimizing taxes, the average works out to far less than the official rate. United States companies pay about a quarter of their profits in federal income taxes, a few percentage points higher than the rate paid by companies in most other major industrial countries, according to a number of studies and tax experts.

...No one is certain how much creative accounting costs the federal government in lost revenue, but most estimates say it easily exceeds $50 billion a year. Targeted tax preferences, which Congress created to intentionally benefit specific companies or industries, cost an estimated $100 billion more a year....

scold Pointing the finger at the Tea Party, The White House blamed the new 3th party for the S and P degrade today. No, it was not the petulance of the President, nor his walking from a meeting with Boehener, nor his spending over the last year years that caused S and P to see a political crisis in Washington.

It was those grand mother with Tea bags on their hats and sign in thier hands...that caused S and P to degrade the US to AA+. OK I will get straight here in moment.)) Am enjoying this to much.

It was those Tea party representative elected by those Tea Bag wearing Grand mothers that caused the country to loss this coveted AAA rating.
There are only 88 in Congress and and 6 in the Senate. My gosh the power of 94 representives have in the United States of America! All to fial the Obama administration! But in the end, the 88 voted for the 2 trillion debt raise and the 1.3 trillion budget cut.

But!

S and P had already said it woudld take 4 trillion in cuts. Was the President not listening?

So it was those....

Tea Party villians...those haters of the American deficit spending....those sub specicied Americans that wear red white and blue to bed. How dare they take the crown jewel rating from the Obama administration and cause all this heart ache!

Global markets are in crisis. Italy and Spain are crumpling. Australia and New Zealand markets both went down. The EU is beginning a emergency plan to buy Italian and Spanish paper. And it is all the Tea Party fault!

Yea right .............give me a break!

The disconnect in the White House between fiscal reality and looney tunes finances is the cause of the debt crisis. The economic crisis. The unemployment crisis. And the S and P down grade.

The 26m Tea Party members and their 84 representative could not put together the prefect financial storm that is coming to the world. But the world's most powerful man could. We all know that is the POTUS.
One Barack Obama. He does have some help here. The entire cabinet. The 14m Fed government employees. And the very popular economic thinking of the most liberal business school in America....the University of Chicago.

It is not like his supporters are not profitting from this. Warren Buffet just place buy offer for Transocean. That is a big deal! Of Billions. Think Warren would be making a offer on Transocean, if the US bonds were collapsing? No, I don't think so. But Warren know good timing.

President Obama has a $38,000 per plate fund raiser...that he really does not want to make the media. What better way to cover his funding raising activities during American hard time, than to point at the Tea Party as the crisis maker?

See that is what Rob Emanuel meant by "never a bad crisis". You can always use it to cover your real activities in the press. It is why the White House went after FOX earlier. That is why we have had this political instability that has been causing crisis since Obama took office.

So now it is not FOX, but the Tea Party! Why not the Nation of Islam? Louis Farracon's group? Why not the Communist party of the former Soviet Union? Why not Emperial court of the Ming Dynasty? The White House blaming the Tea Party for S and P down grade ranks in the same logic here. But just maybe why not the White House?

So some one goes to Washington has to lose his/her principles? Taking the oath of office automatically makes you a shark? The TEa Party elected all ran cut the FED government budget and to make smaller government platform.

They were elected to do just what they did. Place a control on the rampant spending of the Obama administration. Now the Obama admsitration blames them for the S and P downgrade. The down grade came because it was not cut enough. And because Obama had made such a crisis and toxic environment in Washington that few could work with him and his liberals administration.

Why did Emanuel get the axe after the mid term? Because REP could work with good old Rob? They should have had the budget/debt issue on the table in the first 2 years of his administration. When the DEMs had full control of the government. Why did they wait to table it after the mid term?

Because the White House wanted another crisis. Well it got it. Now it is going to cost the world in stock market values, interest rates, and heart ache.

For all those that are big on 'transperncy'...and a 'need to know all' about what our Government does. I would like to return you to the days following the bin Laden raid of this last May.

It was then that the name "SEAL TEAM 6" become a publically known. Media made them the heros of Abbottsbad and the bin Laden raid. But it was the White House that put the name 'SEAL TEAM 6' into the media. It was the people inside the situation room that could not keep mission security following the bin Laden raid that talked about SEAL TEAM 6.

Every one had to know what had transpered in the Bin Laden compound. Media was frenzied for information. And the White House gave it to them.

Soon the members of SEAL TEAM 6 are requesting additional security for selves and families here in the US. The White House responds with a 'investigation into covert operation security and suspends all covert operations.'

But the leak is done....the SEAL TEAM that got bin Laden is known to the world.

Now you have 20 dead SEAL TEAM 6 members in coffins coming home from Afghanistan. Do you just think that leaking the name of unit to the world....might have made them a target? Do you think that alQeada now knowing the name of the team, placed a bounty of them? Do you think that alQEADa and the Taliban, knowing of a SEAL TEAM 6 unit presence in Afghanistan, might have choosen to pin down the US Ranger Reconn unit hoping to draw SEAL TEAM 6 out into a rescue effort? Do you think that just one of the AFghan learning of a SEAL TEAM 6 rescue mission, just might have made a phone call to his alQeada handler?

There are so many ways that the security of SEAL TEAM 6 could be compromised after the White House released the name to the media in May, it is surprising that a deadly attack on the TEAM did not happen earlier.

alQeada placed bounties on all American commanders in Iraq and AFghansitan. Placed bounties on even the civilian advisors sent to the AOs. alQeada was able to place a bounty on SEAL TEAM 6 because the White House had to broad cast it names in May to the media. All for a Obama bump in the polls.

alQeada has been able to slip Afhgan military turn coats into the CIA operation in the country for suceide bombings. alQeada used deception to send 19 air craft hi jacker into our country on 911. And this Administration wants full and complete transperency? Liberal and media want to know every about every thing that our miltiary does? Needs to braod cast the name of SEAL TEAM 6 to the world via the media and net?

It is like the White House pulled the triggers on the RPGs that dropped the Chinook to the ground and took the lives of American and
Afghan abroad.

There should be a Congressional investigation into the White House release of SEAL TEAM 6 name into the media. And that also should also be made public.

Analysis: Republican leaders heed Tea Party but risk backlash
... with the direction of the country and so supported Tea Party candidates -- who ... Steven Hess, a veteran Republican staffer and a political analyst in ...

The several dozen fiscally conservative, small-government members in the House of Representatives played a significant role in forcing John Boehner, the Republican House Speaker, to abandon efforts to forge a bipartisan "grand bargain" debt limit deal with Obama because it contained revenue increases -- and their clout will continue, analysts say....

The fight over the debt ceiling exposed a fundamental rift inside the Republican Party between the Tea Party movement newcomers, many of whom believed a debt default was actually needed to get America's spending under control, and traditionalists such as Boehner who said a deal had to be struck to increase the United States' borrowing authority.

A wave of Tea Party-affiliated members was elected to Congress in the November 2010 mid-term elections, propelled by voters furious about a bad economy and government spending....

"The momentum among voters generally is completely about cutting spending. There is this fissure inside the Republican Party -- between the Tea Party absolutionists and the strongly conservative traditionalists -- but they all agree that the debt has to be taken care of."...

"The electorate will be very different next year because it is a presidential election year," said Tad Devine, a Democratic strategist.

He noted that in 2010, independent voters wanted to show they were not happy with the direction of the country and so supported Tea Party candidates -- who once elected may have gone too far.

"But this was not the change they wanted," he said. "They have watched what just happened in Washington, that the country was brought to the edge of a cliff with consequences that would have had immediate effects on their lives, and they are astounded."

"This time round, these Republicans actually have to run on their record. And independent voters will be repulsed by their policy prescriptions and actions."

Steven Hess, a veteran Republican staffer and a political analyst in the Brookings Institution think tank, said Republicans, who have a 49-seat majority in the House, could lose control of the chamber next year.

"You will have exposed candidates and an enlarged electorate," Hess said. "The Tea Party is a relatively fragile movement. People have already lost interest in it and are getting irritated with it."

I'm very sorry for the loss of the SEAL TEAM 6 members, it seems a leap tho to think the men in that helicopter might have been personally known and shot down because of that knowledge. They were on an active mission, participating in a wartime mission Tom and in harms way because of that. I'm sure they were careful not to have I.D. information on the chopper and not to advertize who they were.

Our government, Congress, Senate and White House is dysfunctional. Seems to me it is full of people looking for sponsors, power and control and re-election rather than trying to solve our nations issues and problems, trying to guide us to a better future by building together the U.S.A.'s strength.

The fiasco scenario played out last week should absolutely be transparent to American citizens I believe. Do you actually think things would have gone better if it hadn't? Don't you know bully boys just love closed doors, God knows how badly it would have gone in secrete. After all it is American business they were conducting here not wartime business Tom, so your analogy is off by a mile in my opinion.

These Tea Party members are proud of themselves for running the show and they are going to be judged on their performance. If that is a bad thing why support them Tom?

Poll Finds Tea Party Backers Wealthier and More Educated

Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

The 18 percent of Americans who identify themselves as Tea Party supporters tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45.

They hold more conservative views on a range of issues than Republicans generally. They are also more likely to describe themselves as “very conservative” and President Obama as “very liberal.”

And while most Republicans say they are “dissatisfied” with Washington, Tea Party supporters are more likely to classify themselves as “angry.”

The Tea Party movement burst onto the scene a year ago in protest of the economic stimulus package, and its supporters have vowed to purge the Republican Party of officials they consider not sufficiently conservative and to block the Democratic agenda on the economy, the environment and health care. But the demographics and attitudes of those in the movement have been known largely anecdotally. The Times/CBS poll offers a detailed look at the profile and attitudes of those supporters....

Of the 18 percent of Americans who identified themselves as supporters, 20 percent, or 4 percent of the general public, said they had given money or attended a Tea Party event, or both. These activists were more likely than supporters generally to describe themselves as very conservative and had more negative views about the economy and Mr. Obama. They were more angry with Washington and intense in their desires for a smaller federal government and deficit.

Tea Party supporters over all are more likely than the general public to say their personal financial situation is fairly good or very good. But 55 percent are concerned that someone in their household will be out of a job in the next year. And more than two-thirds say the recession has been difficult or caused hardship and major life changes. Like most Americans, they think the most pressing problems facing the country today are the economy and jobs....

They do not want a third party and say they usually or almost always vote Republican. The percentage holding a favorable opinion of former President George W. Bush, at 57 percent, almost exactly matches the percentage in the general public that holds an unfavorable view of him....

Sky respectfully...the DEM and REP jointly have had 90 years of running this country. Occassionally a third party emerges. Only to be bashed to ground by them both.

Obama ran on a 'broken Washington' campaign in 2008. His first two year were not even close to fixing it. So the country supported the Tea Party and placed those 88 into Congress.

Now they bash the Tea Party. It was the Tea Party fault that S and P devalued the bond....blah blah blah......it is just status quo hanging on to political power. Political power they see slipping away.

You know every well....that government has over 20 SEAL TEAMs...there was no reason back in May to divulge the name of the specific team that was on the bin laden raid. But to bump Obama failing ratings....they went on the Sunday talk shows and did the media thing.
'The Commander in Chief had knowledge of every detail of the raid'

Now they got burned. 32 men were killed. Men that had kept government secrets all of their lives. Like the secret of those stealthy helos.
Not a enlisted, a NCO, or Officer had ever gone public with the knowledge of our Stealthy helo program. Man that kept the secret of the coming bin laden raid for months while they trained for it.

But the White House cannot keep the secret of the SEAL TEAM that takes bin Laden down?

That is exactly why the American people don't trust REP or DEM at this point. They all play for personal gain and power. Why the public began to vote TEA Party in 2010. For they see in Palin and in Grinrich and in Cain....flawed men and women....but at least they can keep a secret when men's lives are at risk. Leaders that love the country and fellow Americans.

Americans that realize....'words really do matter'.

KABUL — A NATO helicopter was shot down during an overnight operation against the Taliban in eastern Afghanistan, a U.S. official said. The crash killed 31 U.S. service members and eight Afghan troops, according to Afghan President Hamid Karzai, making it the deadliest incident for the coalition in the nearly 10-year-old war.

The U.S. official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter, said the aircraft was most likely brought down by a rocket-propelled grenade and that many of the dead were Navy SEALs. The Taliban asserted responsibility for the crash, which occurred in Wardak province, just west of the capital, Kabul.

Saturday’s crash comes during a surge of violence across large swaths of Afghanistan, particularly in the east, which has become a flash point in the conflict as American troops prepare for a phased withdrawal from the country. The incident threatened to shake confidence in NATO’s air power — a key asset in the war and a important element of combat support offered to Afghans, who lack an air force of their own.

Residents of Sayedabad district in Wardak who were awake for an early morning Ramadan prayer reported hearing a rocket-propelled grenade being fired and then a loud explosion. Flames lit the night sky, they said.

“Then American forces began searching houses and blocked the roads of the village,” said Sana Gal, 35, a resident of Tangi, a village a few hundred yards from the crash site.

A Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, said an insurgent shot down the helicopter with a rocket-propelled grenade after the conclusion of a firefight in which eight Taliban fighters were killed.

Deadly helicopter crashes have not been especially common in Afghanistan, but despite their infrequency, they constitute some of the bloodiest incidents in the war’s history. Before Saturday’s crash, 96 coalition troops had been killed in eight separate crashes since 2005 — products of both mechanical problems and insurgent attacks.

Chinook helicopters are vulnerable to attack from rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns when taking off and landing, particularly in mountainous terrain, because they are big targets that fly low to the ground. In the most dangerous areas, the U.S. military will typically fly Chinooks only at night and only when there is little or no illumination from the moon. This has long been true in restive and mountainous areas throughout eastern Afghanistan and has at times made it challenging to resupply units.

The Chinooks have not been the only U.S. helicopters involved in fatal crashes in Afghanistan. In one of the deadliest incidents in recent years, a Black Hawk helicopter crashed in Zabul province last September, killing nine American service members.

Yes Tom words do matter! I still don't see exactly how you are promoting the idea that somehow Obama is responsible for the chopper crashing during the raid they were involved in.

I am not trying to painting him as some sort of a saint, but neither is he the devil you make of him.

Following the bin Laden raid, those in the situation room ...made a "vowed not to give critical details" of the raid to the media and world. Within 24 hour the world knew exactly which of the 100s of US military unit had conducted the raid.

They knew this was highly sensitive and classified information in talking about SEAL TEAM 6. But they went ahead and did it anyways.

Then instead of the hunt for alQEada leaders by the US....the hunt for SEAL TEAM 6 began by the Taliban and alQeada. How can I say that? They live by the old testament eye for eye tooth for tooth law, Sky. They wanted SEAL TEAM 6 bad for the bin Laden raid.

Why does this sited US official speaking on 'annoymity' of the recent Chinook shoot down? In part to protect the ongoing investigation. The other part is to protect his unit, himself and family.

Sure as Palin putting a bullseye on the DEM leaders that were running for reelection made public criticism, the release of the classified and sensitive information of SEAL TEAM 6 should get public criticism.

The difference being....Palin gaff in political material did not get anyone killed. While the White House security gaff.....could very well have.

Faithfulness: Part 2

So is the US a AAA rated country.....that is what President Obama just said. He also said Washington was broken. And has been doing a little bit apology work in a few countries for the us.

How often we Americans, have defended American values and principles here on CS to others? My it is daily battle of words and history lessons. Of shout outs and line outs.

Do we even owe the world a explanation? I always felt that we did. Being the 500 pound gorilla in the world does carry some explanation. But seldom do we good explanations in return. Read a good explanation of why Assad or Qdaffi are killing their people?

Is the US of A triple AAA rated in the President's mind because some 46 different culture and 308m people in the US have managed a way to solve issues without rioting (e.g. London) and without government oppression to violence (Syria and Libya)?

Or is because those principles and values of America stand as a light for the world? Or they have in the past. 17m people a year relocate here legally. Yet does seem to be twinkling today, if you take the Chinese position....that a foreign regulation agency need to "watch the American dollar"

I will agree that America does need to be defined better. It needs to daily to make the best of things. That means American as individuals need to stand tall in what they do. Be responsible for it. No am not saying if your a crook, be the best crook possible. Saying being a good person.

So with the markets crumpling and the dollar floating in a whirlpool of doubt, can the country stave off the rocky shoals that this administration has the vessel heading to?

Sure it can. We put the motors in reverse. We bring the vessel to a stop. We send out a life raft to see what lies ahead. Huckabee suggested that is is time for the President to bring REP and Tea Party members into his cabinet. A pretty good idea.

You now have a joint government in the Executive branch. A near 50 50 spilt in the Senate. And a REP dominated House. IN other words, we bring the government to stop...not literally. Checks and payment would still be made. But we place REP and Tea Party directors into position to take agencies into new directions.

I submitted the idea of gold backing our treasury notes and bonds, near a week ago. Posting on it here at CS, help to define it better.

I think that the country has great untapped resource and potential.
I am bullish on America. But like all untapped resources...mis- management and errors in cultivation can occur.

The United States is a AAA rated country as long the freedom of ideas and the freedom of speech is respected. Huckabee might not get his REP or Tea party member in the Executive office. I might not get a gold back treasury note of bond. But we both exercized the right to communicate the ideas to government and to public. That alone makes the United States AAA rated.

President Obama came and said...'he inherited much of the economic problems". A sure finger point to the Bush administration. No DEM ever points at the Clinton administration. It was a economic marvel of the day.

But were was the President for the 10 of the Bush administation? Most Americans realized we were in a global war with very nasty people.
War time spending increases subtanitially over a peace time spending.
What did he want Bush to do? Fight the conflict with his hand tied behind his back with stones?

Or develop new military technologies that would save lives and achieve a military victory in the end?

Liberal like to point at Bush and say he spent alot to. He did and in the right places. For national defense. For border security. For fighting two wars. Many of those liberals are alive today.....because Bush spent the money to defend them.

While Obama has cut our DoD by over 200 billions. He still over spends Bush in the two wars even though withdrawal are occuring. He wrecks the health care system for a unconstitutional socialist mumbo jumbo piece of ad hoc legislative that no one understands. Causing the Health insurance rates to sky rocket faster than the NASA rockets.

Obama has over spent Bush by billion in only 3 years. Yet he cannot afford a NASA manned program? What kind of fruit cake approach to innovation and future development is this?

This was all done prior to the S and P devaluation of the Government bond rating. Does anyone have real doubt here that the Obama administration is at the heart of the S and P downrating?

Sure the Tea Party and REP resistance to Obama's spending played a role. Without it, there would be nothing to rate. Obama would have spent it.doh

A much more accurate statement from the President is this....."I inherited fiscal mess and I did little to change it. If anything I made it worse. Because I dug the hole deeper."

That is a honest statement of this Administration and and its economic policies.
