I cannot see how Harry Reid helped the situation yesterday by voting down the house bill. Me? I would taken the main aspects of the House Bill and incorporated them into the Senate Bill. Now you have a piece
of budget legislation that has booth DEM and REP stamps of approval on it. That you send to the President.
Harry put them back to square one with only three days to go. What ever the Senate does, still has to go back to the House for reconfirmation vote. Then it still need the President signature.
So I don't think that they have time to get it done.

I just finished writing it up. Will get it in the mail today or tomorrow. It is a pretty simple statement and message that will resonate in the country. As the future President Cain will not use any funds from FICA revenues in his administration. That is $834b per year, scratched from the budget.
He leaves it to Congress hands to reinvest the FICA money into trust accounts and take it from the General Account. But he ain't spending it.Those not voting to legislate such trust account are very likely to see strong Tea Party opponents in the near future.
