Happygolucky4u: I have seen people die and they did not stay in one spot. Crawled rolled and poof....maybe that is how he ended up there. Maybe in their sqirmsh they rolled around a bit.
Not quite. He was their with his father visiting his fathers girlfriend. Whom lived there if you are talking about Trayvon. At least that is what the news, courts, and his father has claimed
GZ said he held TM down after he shot him,, until he did not move anymore. If they squirmed around until TM got shot, GZ was not getting his head bashed on the concrete walk. GZ said he shot TM because he was getting his head bashed on the concrete. Anyway Treyvon had good reason to be there, his father was staying there with his GF and he was with his father,,,
It's funny when the interviewer cuts off the person talking and continues to talk.So you really don't hear the other person talk.
The media does this all the time. The reporters are always describing the situation and we're suppose to believe it.Why doesn't the media just let whomever they're interviewing finish what they're saying.

It would make for a real good duck tape moment
I'm at a local restaurant and the juke box is supremely loud as usual and can't hear any of what is said - important thing is - the watch group has a face now. and, their member Zimmerman violated nationally and normally recognized governance rules.

Obviously he did.As I told someone else that I was on a watch group and if we saw a crime happen we were told to contact the police not take the law in our own hands.
I was a co- watch leader some years and all I had was a phone number in which to hear recordings from the police officer who lead our group of what occurred and a list of members names and numbers to contact them to pass on important info.

TheresMyFriend: George Zimmerman is found "Not Guilty", by a jury trial. What do you think? ~JOHN~
Zimmerman was tired of criminals braking in and that is quite normal I do know about it but shooting Trayvon on suspecting he was a criminal that was wrong.
One element that has been overlooked I think is Zimmerman and Trayvon’s body’s characteristics:
Trayvon 1.80 m 150 pounds
Zimmerman 1.70 m 194 pounds
Zimmerman did confront Trayvon. Perhaps Trayvon was a criminal, a gangster but he was not doing anything criminal while passing by. Zimmerman had not right to stop Trayvon and certainly he had not right to kill him.
If I were to kill everyone I think is a criminal I would have to shoot several each day.
If Zimmerman was a vigilant how come he did not make Trayvon to surrender? They both have a similar body’s strength beside he had a gun in his pocket. Zimmerman did not have to kill Trayvon to stop him from hitting him on the cement.
I do think the USA system to provide justice has failed.
Zimmerman might not be guilty but he certainly is not innocent.

Could you provide me with a link to where you got this information. I am assuming off the news? I do not remember that being said nor do I remember it being written in the arrest affidavit As I have said Trayvons death is a tragedy I am looking at the legal aspects of the case. And how the legal system failed Trayvon. I do believe someone should of been held accountable to some degree. Not just swept under the rug. I would like to see where it says he held him till he did not move anymore.

.
I remember fighting men when I was 16, and 17... I only fought them, because I was afraid not to: I was so afraid, I always won.
It's been said, God made all men, guns made them equal.
It must suck to need martial arts classes, and law classes, and a gun to feel equal to stalking one 17 year old boy.
Happygolucky4u: you know yesterday I was wearing a jacket with a hoodie on it and not to be funny this was before the verdict and I thought about Trayvon and I realized running with my head down to avoid rain drops was most likely not well thought out. I don't know how it is in other states but some of our jewelry stores and almost all our banks have sign posted you cannot go in with a hoodie on. Some actually ban dark glasses and caps. All these items are used by robbers. Sad but true. A article of clothing that actually has a useful function.
Pretty soon we'll only be allowed in a bank down here with our skivvies on. Even then they may suspect me of concealing an assault rifle

I watched a bit of the trial, and that came from an investigator who interviewed GM.

OK I found it. Wikipedia gives a good report in "Shooting of Trayvon Martin". This is in GZs account in that report,, "he wasn't sure at first that he had hit him, so he got on top of him in order to subdue him."
2intrigued: Zimmerman is a marked man and a walking target...he's going to need more than a gun and vest to survive imho.
Doesn't that idea make you feel all warm and fuzzy about visiting the US in general?
He is guilty of killing another human being, and nobody is disputing that fact. The thing that gets me is, that he might meet some sort of vigalante justice because his peers didn't hang him. Odd how the US justice system works, but I guess seeing as politicians and war criminals walk around freely, why shouldn't George.
Just another day in the zoo, and all the animals are hungry.

The victims have never had any rights. There's never been any justice here in the USA.
If he hasn't already he'll get lots and lots of death threats.

It's a shame really...I used to enjoy my trips to the US prior to the new law requiring a passport to enter so this is only one of many incidents that does nothing for my sense of warm and fuzzy. Life in the OK Corral just isn't okay in my way of thinking...sounds like a scary place to be.
Everything I saw in the news here, said, Zimmeman was in charge of Neighborhood Watch... Now you say, he wasn't only a "Wannbe cop" he was also a "Wannabe Neighborhood watch?" Can you please post where you found out, the Neighborhood Watch didn't even want him?.
Neighborhood Watch is actually a trademarked name owned by Neighborhood Watch Institute. Before you can use their logo, distribute their literature, put up their signs you have to purchase the items. The company has their own website. NNWI.org. They did supply the signs to the Sanford PD. It seems the members of the Neighborhood Watch can not be armed when assigned to patrol, nor are they supposed to confront anyone.
I have not seen any transcript or heard of any in which he himself described himself as a member of the Neighborhood Watch. That labeling appears to have been a media invention.
Dadude62: But treyvon's body was on the grass well away from the concrete
Generally speaking only in the movies do people shot in the heart instantly drop like a stone. As you heard the medical examiner testify they have about 10-15 seconds of activity left at that point. Many soldiers and police have seen heart shot individuals continue fighting or run. Hunters too have observed this phenomena. Heart shot humans have even been known to jump into cars and drive them for miles. Dr. Halberstam comes to mind as one of the more interesting cases of such. <an anti gun activist who publicly maintained no person had a right to strike back at an attacker. He was then heart shot in his home by a burglar (Bernard Welch Jr.), he left the home, jumped in his car and ran the burglar down several hundred yards away.>
Bullets make holes. If there is a hole in the heart it leaks blood. This does not force you to neatly lay down. Adrenalin, physical condition and state of mind play a role. Eventually due to a lack of a fresh supply of oxygenated blood the shot person loses consciousness. Do some people instantly faint? Yes. But that is much more common on TV shows than in real life. Actually they may instead kill you, then run a quarter mile. This is why dum-dum and later hollow point and soft point bullets were invented. They make a bigger hole, so maybe, sometimes, once every blue moon, the inefficiency of the leaking heart is sufficient to accelerate the loss of consciousness due to oxygen deprivation to the brain. In short where Mr. Martin's body was found does not have to be where the shooting occurred and indeed that would be very unusual.
Looks like KGB moved to America, contacting the Police for Info. Stalinist type???? No one is free anymore, not even the land of freedom.

what are you saying? a 17 yr old unarmed kid? what are you?? so u just pull the trigger on every black kid u think is a danger to you because he's black?
Ken_19: What is unfair is that solely because of political pressure he had to spend thousands of dollars to defend himself again for what should have been (and was initially) ruled a 'good shoot.' If someone is trying to smash your brains out onto a sidewalk, do whatever you have to do. If that includes pulling a trigger, that's fine with me.
