Dinner at a romantic restaurant is awesome for a first date. I don't like to do dates at clubs, bars, etc coz its noisy and we won't be able to talk. Movies and clubbing is fine for other dates.

The events or place dont matter -all are good, depending where you both are.
I dont have or create any kind of expectations on a first date other than getting to know her a bit more and maybe see her again, if we both agree. if the chemistry is there then we both will work for the second date. and so on.
I have no time for "stories".no complications, easy stuff.

Be nice Pete, i'm not used to that kind of date, first or otherwise.i don't eat mars bars or drink coke, mobiles are turned off for dates
so the walk along the pier is the only thing that is nice about it.
