We're are getting tough on NKorea. They just planned not one.....but two joint military operations in Korea with the SKoreans. That is being tough! I am shivering in my booties here.
A little sand. A little surf. A little sun.....some beach assault in SKorea. Fun in the sun for the Marines.
Or maybe some water games. Target practice in Yellow Sea...making holes in the water with cannon fire from some frigates and destroyers.
Or some mock hill attacks well inside the DMZ. Run up the hill. Run down the hill. Run the hill. Run down the hill. Run up the hill. You get the idea.
Or some air force target practice. Some bombing range in SKorean get alot more holes in it.
Now if one considers....that technically a state of war presently exists with NKorea...the wisdom of war games is ????? Sure expose your forces to possible covert attacks by the north, that seems more than willing to conduct them.
The US & SKorea have conducted many war games in the past. NKorea still built the bomb, made nuc carrying rockets and now launches this fatal torpedo attack.
So while having the Duke hit the SKorean beaches. Fly a Toka Ra bridge mock up attack. Retake Hamburger Hill. Or place his destroyer on a course of intercepting a a maybe hostile SKorean Sub contact. Don't expect the NKoreans to give a apology on the Chonean attack anytime soon.
You want to put the fear of wrath into the NKoreans and Kim for the Chonean....put UN troops.....300,000 is nice round number on the northern borders with China and Russia, Anything else is.....well is.....playing games.
